I must be doing something wrong because the few pics I ve tried to use this on do not show much improvement so my 3 stars are in hopes the problem is me it will improve as I use it more             Not Sure ;)AO

This app does a great job improving the quality of grainy images On that I would give it five stars But the actual JPG file that it saves isn t as good as the AFTER processed image in the app You can definitely see differences between what the app did through its processing and what gets saved It s a shame because it s not a trivial difference I hope the app developers fix this                 Good but it needs improvement cvpuser

Reduces noise but the latest picture I processed reduced the original file from 10 6MB to 1 1MB after saving             reduces noise but saves file at much lower resolution Lars Unplugged

I agree with the other reviewer that the POST preview has a better image quality than the image quality that is saved It works just not as good as I had hoped             Still a bit grainy Courty92

It does a great job of reducing my noise However the POST preview has a better image than the image that is truly saved Also I would have given this AP a 5 Star rating if I could Batch Noise Reduction When I do night football games and indoor Volleyball games they show plenty of noise It would be nice to be able to import my pics then Reduce the noise in the first pic then have an an option to perform same settings to the rest of the imported images That way they are done a lot quicker and I can get them out to where they need to go WITHOUT staying up until the wee morning trying to have them all completed and sent Anyway Other than what I had mentioned with the Saved Post Images not reflecting what it shows in the Post Preview Window It still isn t bad at all just doesn t look as good as the post preview And other than the mentioned Wish of Batch Processing This AP is GREAT I would recommend this AP to everyone that needs an inexpensive Noise Reducing AP                 Great NR but DS005

My original review of Version 1 was a two star because even though it was buggy and displayed a corrupt looking After photo the user interface was intuitive and it was convenient to use Well this version 1 4 4 has improved to earn a 4 star rating in my opinion The user interface is intuitive iconic Open and Save button instant zoom level buttons 200 100 Fill screen incremental useful compare to original options Off Swipe Side by Side and a convenient Auto Manual noise reduction control On the tool bar there is also a feedback link which tells you that the developer wants you to let him know how he s doing use it to let him her know of any bugs that exist or improvements you d like to see Although Apple Photos has a built in noise reduction feature that works well Noise Reduction Pro permits you to reduce grain and pixelations on an Ad Hoc basis without needing to first add the photo to your Library in order to improve the image Tip The convenience of Drag n Drop of photographs directly onto the application s window to work on them is currently available on a limited basis So far I ve found I can drag from the Finder and iPhotos but not from Apple Photos or Safari Firefox or Google Chrome Until the Developer addresses and expands the Drag n Drop capabilities of Noise Reducer Pro you must use the Finder as the intermediary for all Drag n Drop functions                 Coming along well davidperugini

This app is useless to me On the other hand except for about a half hour of wasted time it didn t cost me anything As with three other reviewers any JPEG file I ve tried including photos taken on both of my cameras images downloaded from the web and a screen capture the After image displayed on my screen looks basically like the picture on an old TV when the Horizontal Hold needs adjustment I also tried a PNG Same result I tried saving the image thinking that perhaps the dispaly was messed up but the image wasn t Wrong The help for this app is up to the standard of the app itself There are about 10 FAQ s at the developer s web site none of which address this problem I can find no explanation anywhere of the use and function of the tool buttons in the product and there are no settings to adjust I am running El Capitan on a new MacBook This computer has a Retina screen but I don t see how that would cause the problem I would like to request that the next reviewer who provides a 5 star review states what hardware OS configuration he or she is using     Well I guess you gett what you pay for Jack Madomo
