The application is supporting different languages: English, Danish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese. It weighs in at only 29.8 MB to download. The new Noke app version 1.2 has been updated on 2015-09-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. For a Kickstarter project this has and forever will be one of my favorites There s occasionally bugs but I haven t experienced them enough for it to cause me concern and I ve got the Morse code enabled so even if the app is finicky I can still open it I m not sure if this is an issue but it looks like I might have an available firmware update but can t seem to update it through the app which is a little annoying but hopefully gets resolved soon It s a great lock and app                 Works well Blah798732

Would not unlock Their website states to HARD reset clear cache and it may take 2 3 times before the lock will work again I was very reluctant to hard reset this many times as it is equivalent to yanking the plug from the back of a computer without properly shutting down over and over again PS tried that remedy to no avail Updating the App was what got me up running again                     Update Solved Issue EQUAL SPACES • EPIC THERAPY

I just received the padlock and used the app for the first time yesterday The application crashes when I add another user to the lock however upon re launch the user is added and has function over the lock That is what loses one star for me There are a few UI bugs such as asking for name at setup when really it is asking for the email address a second time It seems to me that the app is a backseat to the product which works flawlessly for me I would also like to see a companion app for the watch The pitch for the u lock on Kickstarter shows Apple Watch support Hopefully it doesn t get left behind I recommend the lock to anyone                 First use for me tysonmsc

I just bought a Noke lock and set it up and I noticed awhile later while just checking it that the lock always had to be set up again after so many days of space away from it I m not sure yet I just know I have to sync it back up when I want to use it which makes it useless if anyone can claim it with the app The app works it just shows add a lock every time I open it It may take like a day or two I m not sure why or how this keeps happening yet Love the idea though but it doesn t work for me Update I can t get into my shed because of this No way in to my stuff I m going to have to break down door or cut the lock with a cut off wheel in a grinder I want my golf clubs     Noke lock always un syncs itself Gromz2

Dear Noke Just out of curiosity what do you guys expect us to use this thing for if we can t get it open reliably Put another way why would anybody use a lock that they didn t think they could open again It seems like great hardware but the only way to access it is with this amateur hour piece of software The app crashed every time I tried to paste in the long password to access the guest account Then I tried typing the password in and it crashed again This was after I bought the FOB which was also a disappointment Maybe I missed something in the settings but it looks like none of the scheduling functionality can be used with the FOB Oh yeah and I m still waiting for the day the lock can be set to a timer That s all I wanted it for anyway That had to be like a days worth of coding maybe a week     App still no good Clinkerkid

My wife uses this for her lockers Now you would think what s wrong with a 10 lock but when she s in a rush and can t get the lock to open this takes care of that issue Had no issues syncing with lock and Morse code option works in case you don t have your phone Not sure on the battery life and not sure if price is worth the lock itself Seems like a solid lock though                 Pretty cool idea if you don t want to remember a passcode Erik J Devine

It is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE that even opening the app for basic operations requires an account and signing up This is a security sensitive system which should be able to communicate ONLY via Bluetooth with the lock At least BASIC usage must be free of these forces sign ups What s worse Locks stop working if Noke decides to stop operating their infrastructure YUCK It MAY be reasonable to provide an online service OPTIONALLY but even for sharing access this is technically NOT REQUIRED A Noke could just be programmed offline with a list of allowed tokens Apart from this the app looks and is buggy For example enabling advanced settings always resets after quitting the apps I will strongly advice everyone to not use Noke     Forced registration unacceptable Horrible app 63832452

Lock is great but the app needs polishing 1 It logs me out too often 2 I hate having to open the app in order to unlock the lock doesn t force me to a lot but when it does it s inconvenient 3 an Apple Watch option would be great as I usually always have it on             Great Lock Berry202

First I would like to say how cool this lock is Next I would like to say how great the functionality of the lock and this app are The only issue that I have is that I frequently close all of my running apps and I forget to leave this open I think this would be resolved if they came out with an Apple Watch app It would be easier to open plus with watch OS3 coming out the app would supposedly stay open in the background and be ready on demand                     Awesome bashful25

The app will always try to login online At areas with poor reception it will take some time to get the lock opened Suggest to make online login secondary and to get the app running and lock open priority         App needs faster startup IcedLInk

Cool lock and concept obviously but new app so it s super buggy I keep getting annoying messages such as missing session when I try to add someone so it won t let me add anyone as of now And other messages throughout the app that prevent me from completing tasks like missing command My review will change as the app progresses             So far so ok skys15

So I just received my NOKE and I am a Kickstarter Feel the pain of other users in that I just about forgot about it too despite the email updates And getting the lock out of the package was an awful experience But now the good news The lock set up on the app was easy and it worked perfectly Patience here for early adopters but I think this is a winner                 Very cool lock packaging not so much Megaboy

I waited so long for this thing from Kickstarter that I forget how much I paid or even when I backed the project I get it I set up the Noke and the quick code It says it s saving to the cloud Then I hit next and it tells me that the Noke isn t connected even though it just searched for it and found it to set it up I can retry or cancel with cancel taking me through the entire process of naming the device and everything all over or I can press the shackle repeatedly to no effect and hit retry and have it tell me it isn t connected over and over     Garbage Matthew110607

This app functions as it should Keep in mind that this is the first version released There will definitely be updates released in the future that will tweak UI firmware bugs etc That being said I think the team did an amazing job with this app and I am thoroughly excited to receive my noke and begin to take advantage of all the things this app has to offer                     For first version released not bad at all jmbyers
