Crashes while signon Does not work
My son recently switched from an iPhone to the galaxy 6 and I thought I would no longer be able to keep track Until I found this app which is absolutely amazing The ability to monitor and make changes to his accessibility remotely helps me keep him safe I can track just about everything Amazing
Most of the alerts simply say no further info available or something similar so you have to login from a browser to look at it anyway Save your time and just put a safari shortcut to the norton family site on your home screen Pretty useless
This is an excellent tool for reviewing and monitoring your kids activity online The Norton Family service is fantastic this helps parent monitor no matter where the parent is Great Tool for PARENTS to monitor activity

I have Norton Family on my Macbook air and it works well but I installed it on the ipads and it doesnt block anyhtingit let a lot of porn pages pop up while my kids were palying or surfing the web I am going to try Mcaffee now to see if i get a better luck Doesnt block anything

If this is just the beta version Im really looking forward to seeing the finalized app This works seamlessly with the Norton Online Family program installed on our computer We use the program primarily for the time controls and Id love to see a running tab of time used on the app but it also makes me feel much more secure about what the kids are doing on the computer While they are still at the WebkinzSproutClub Penguin stage this app will immediately show me if they do a search or try to access inappropriate sites so I can immediately step in and see what is going on While no monitoring system is better than constant eyes over their shoulder thats not always practical as dinner laundry and other chores need to get done and it would be very easy to miss a brief accidental visit to a site that should be debriefed with a parent Great Start

I cant assign my sons iPhone to his profile which means it does nothing It just doesnt work
I am a Norton subscriber for my PCs at home Loaded Family on my sons iPod Touch to block access to porn websites I set the app to block not warn It still let porn through Tech support told me I had to enter each site individually A parent control app that cannot filter out the word porn is worthless I am incredibly disappointed Be sure to test this app before you trust it to protect your child Doest block PORN

For those of you whom are trying to purchase a new family protection for your kids dont bother startingusing this After an hour trying to trouble shoot and join a forum I looked on their Facebook page they are no longer supporting this app which they have failed to put in their update information Just thought Id pass this along and save other people some time Norton Family announced end of life with MAC

I thought this was going to monitor my sons usage on his ipod touch I really wish there was an app for that I have the parent controls set up that come with the ipod but I would like the added comfort of knowing I had norton monitoring it can you get an app for that doesnt monitor device

Lots of negative reviews about this app not working to block sites thats because this app is only the monitoring tool and is not designed for anyones but the parents phones With that said it would be nice to have an apple client but that isnt very possible with apples policies Read the description
I love that I am able to easily monitor the computer with this but it crashes on the activity page when I tell it to accept a visited page I also tried to turn on instant messaging and it crashed as well I would give it five stars if you can fix the bugs Good but

App does not always refresh and update information unless you close the app down and restart it Options are limited many changes will require you to login to the norton site to complete as functionality is just not available within the app Butit provides information with the ability to make some limited changes Its worth having just so you can monitor daily activity Good app in need of improvements
Im very happy with the app but would like the ability to update settings from my iPhoneiPad too At this time the mobile app only provides a view of activity alerts and history Still an excellent use though I would recommend this product and their mobile app as being at least as good as any of the 40 competitors Great

Norton Family used to work great prior to a late 2012 rewrite Since then app allows for control of settings which is important and software does control use of PCs by kids But information on their use of PCs is totally absent of so delayed as to be useless Email alerts come out days later Yet Norton continues to ask for upgrade to premium version when basic version is only half working Clearly not a priority for the company I rely on for all my computer security needs Good concept poor execution
