NoteShare Mobile Viewer

Not much use to me Its a viewer only There is no way to add to or edit in this VIEWER     Its A Viewer

I am a longtime Notetaker user and I was anxiously awaiting the mobile version of Noteshare As a simple viewer it works well It quickly discovered a notebook I had open on my desktop Viewing was just like on the desktop although the background lines did not appear I use the legal paper background for my notebooks Browsing pages was simple fast and intuitive if you are used to Notetaker You can expand and collapse individual entries but I did not see a way to expand or collapse entire pages sections or the notebook Selecting embedded hyperlinks brings up the web page in an internal browser Overall thought the program lacks some essential features There is no way to search at least that I could find There is no way to edit I currently create class outlines in Noteshare print them to a PDF transfer to my iPad then use a PDF markup program to make notes while I teach I will probably stick with that method There are times when I just need to look at an outline but those uses are limited especially given the lack of search I am seriously considering a move to Circus Ponies in order to get editing That would likely mean I also ditch Noteshare on the desktop In addition the notebook I am currently viewing does not update in real time as I edit on my desktop In fact it has not updated in the last 10 minutes or so even though I have repeatedly pressed what looks like a refresh button and I have exited the program both on my iPad and on my desktop           Good viewer but limited functionality

Awesome App Being a long time notetaker user this is a great extension to the desktop software I am a property manager and being able to take my notebooks from desktop to my iphone is fantastic No its not totally as functional as the desktop version software but with that being said to be able to take data in the field is so valuable It looks and feels just like desktop version but it is missing a few thinks like a searching capabilities editing but you have to remember this is a viewer not a full blown program so I think it makes the software absolutely without question a valuable productivity tool                 Great Mobility

Was a pioneer in link to mobile devices but they apparently have not kept up with operating system changes As a result it no longer works     Obsolete

The Mac product is pretty decent but this app just does not work yet It tries to connect to the server but consistently fails The OK button that then comes up cannot even be pressed A real pity this is     Not yet ready
