I m a convert from iTransNYC which was the standard for iPhone until it stopped updating regularly as of late This app matches that app in almost every aspect and props for making own maps but I d like to see more detailed delay and cancellation info within the push notifications This shouldn t be too hard just rally the same info MTA sends out to its riders iTransNYC does exactly that Also I think a full page dedicated to alerts rather than a small menu right now will make navigating information even easier Among the nicest NYC subway apps navySILVER.88

Well worth buying the full version Pinch and zoom was fine in the free app but the full version shows street names local attractions estimated train arrival at a specific stop and access to subway stations with WiFi Very clear when you zoom Great NYC subway app

I have been waiting for someone to build a subway app that allows you to just enter a start and end street address and it would tell you the best line to use as well as the best stations for that line Kickmap has it The second thing they have is a simple feature where you select the line you want and it tells you the closest station for it based on your current location These devs must be New Yorkers They clearly use their own product They did both

Wow for paying 3 for this app I would at least expect it to recognize that 168 is also a stop on the A and C train in the search function Also I expected it to have train arrival times clearly listed not hidden away by using the search function again when I could just use a free app like Google maps for the same purposes Overall I think this is a pricy app for little functionality One of the only good things that I appreciate about the app is the info on each subway stop like whether or not you can cross over to the opposite platform I cant believe I spent money on this
