This game is not very good I played it for about 20 minutes and I had fun 0 of that time The game is to slow your guy is just walking everywhere and it isnt convenient for a player There is good stuff like the graphics and I like how it has voice acting In all not very fun but please take these things and try them     It looks good

I bought this game because of the good graphic experience somehow I felt a bit disappointed because of the poor characters facial expressions and mostly some major bugs from gameplay Please fix this as soon as possible              Some bugs that should be fixed

Oceanhorn is exactly what you expect a Zelda clone for iOS The graphics are beautiful The gameplay is decent It has many of the qualities were used to in the LOZ franchise such as bombs puzzles cutting grass breaking pots solving puzzles boss battles and more Whether you find this to be a plus or minus is up to you I personally bought this game because of its similarity to LOZ the controls need a little work the movement pad can get confused and that leads to some awkward combat The bow and arrow also could be more intelligent I find my self pressing the shoot button aiming and then releasing only to find the character lower the bow instead of firing This happens 20 of the time while in combat A good fix for this would be an auto target system for the bow or some indication that the hero is aiming at an enemy The shops and gold in this game seem to be irrelevant since there is always plenty of grass and pots lying about in which to recover hearts and supplies So far Ive collected 900 gold and havent spent a single one I do enjoy playing this game when I have some time to kill I hope that buy purchasing this game I have funded an equally ambitious and enjoyable sequel              Great game A little flawed Needs a more original sequel

If you liked playing zelda this game is the app for you I played during my free time and didnt stop until I beaten the game good combatdunegons and puzzles                 Great game

This game is obviously great because I gave it 5 stars Its on of the best Legend of Zelda clones up to date in my opinion But there is one thing I would like added to the game that would make it u h more unique character customization I know I know thats not in any Zelda game but it would make Oceanhorn unique from all other clones It would make me want to cut down that little patch f grass just so I could get a new shirt or hat or new armor just to personalize Thanks for reading and please consider what Im asking                 Fantastic Game but

I have an iPad mini 2 This game is dropping frame rates It didnt do this before the big update        Something is wrong dropping frames

These controls are absolutely atrocious Ive been stuck on the same small section shortly after the start because I cant get character to face the direction I want to They are just too overly simple     Sucky controls

This game has nice graphics and music but otherwise it is very boring The entire game is a lazy derivative of Zelda I played for a few hours expecting it to get interesting but it never does        Beautiful and boring

Its a zelda game through and through but without the soul the writting and story development is a bit lackluster hard to know where or what to do next at times It can be frustrating when the game doesnt give you direction However all the smoothness and beauty of a zelda game a great purchase best game Ive played thus far on mobile device I am editing my review as it has been nearly a year since I purchased this app there has been several updates new graphical improvements and new islands This is still the best game Ive played for IOS but its sad that it is Im hoping that this is the direction developers go in and begin to improve not only the mechanics and graphics and play style to compare to this game but including this game the over experience and story of mobile games need to be improved                 Great alternative to zelda

The controls are not limited to a specific range of the screen which makes the joysticklike mechanics very clunky Lack of specified goals for storyline progression see quest log makes everything have the potential for being a waste of time Combat is mindless hack and slash because the timing of attacks is clumsy thus rendering methodology moot Little to no storyline barely passable artgraphicssound and puzzles that are alternately too easy and too vague it feels like a kids game gone horribly wrong Also forcing us to sit through sailing Really     Clunk Clank Stunk

The game works fine but whenever I diedrown I respawn in the sky island dungeon Its not very gamebreaking but I have to fight the boss multiple times over Also whenever I just open my inventory the music from the boss battle plays              Glitch

Overall this is a great game I was going to give a perfect score before I found this bug Ive waited for several month for a new update that fix this bug yet nobody fix this bug This bug is in the red underground caveI dont exactly remember the name I am supposed to push the boxes and make a road so that I can go from this side to the other side However I pushed the boxes wrong the first time and I couldnt push the start over button Ive tried hundreds of times I used arrows my magical power throwing rocks and vast yet the start over button still not be pushed down I couldnt find another way to go either Now I am stuck in that place and I cannot play the game anymore Please please fix the bug or just add a skipcheat so that I can at least continue playing        Please fix the bug

Wow just wow This is truly a remarkable app that is worthy of being a platform game Ive been playing games since the Commodore 64 yes kids that used big floppies that took 30 minutes to load a game For this to be on a mobile device is remarkable Ive only played about 15 minutes but had to put a plug in for all those on the fence At 4 this is value for a game that is supposedly about 1215 hours worth The size of the game is wonderful about 330 mb and youd have to wonder how the packed it all in there So far the music is not annoying at all but actually delightful well see how that holds out after a few hours though Initial thoughts is that this is a great app for a decent price for hours of gameplay 10 fingers up                 Avid gamer blown away

I absolutely love this app It is just like Zelda Ocarina of Time But in a different perspective and it is very fun to play I just defeated Oceanhorn and acquired 68 If you guys are going to buy it go to quick gamernet there is a whole game guide that I used                 AMAZING

This game is excellent its very similar to Zelda it has very difficult puzzles and boss fights and its very very fun you might get mad cause of the high difficulty but this probably the biggest mobile game Ive ever played and it only costs like 5 bucks if u love Zelda fcking buy it                 One of best mobile games

So I saw this game when it first came out and all reviews kept saying how good it was and its just like LOZ there was just one thing holding me back from getting it the price The reason for this is because about 90 of the games in the App Store always drop down in price most often times down to free As I am in no rush to spend money I always just wait So here it is like 2 years later from the release of Oceanhorn and it has never dropped to free not once I read through the reviews again and its still pretty much 5 stars and the people love it So why hasnt it dropped to free Because it shouldnt Oceanhorn is a topnotch game It is most certainly worth its price The developers did not seem to hold back and it shows The music is perfect the graphics are spectacular and the controls are smooth and easy to use All the other reviewers have said it and now I can vouch for them all Oceanhorn deserves your money SERIOUSLY go check it out And let me add it does have a very Zeldaesque feel to it but whats wrong with that Nothing and I mean NOTHING can ever replace LOZ but games will always carry elements from other games before it Is Fatal Fury not like King of Fighters Is Killer Instinct not like Mortal Kombat All of them are fighting games and produce the same outcome but they all have their differences no matter how big or small I too have been playing Zelda since 1986 but I appreciate the gameplay not the title If a new Zelda title comes out and the gameplay is terrible Im not just going to love it because its Zelda If the game is good then its good if its not good then its not Oceanhorn is certainly good Oceanhorn is the first story based adventure of its kind for iOS that I know of and the devs made an awesome attempt at trying to make it as nice as they could 2 to 5 bucks is not much to ask when you compare this game to a lot of other crappy games that are available in the App Store that cost the same price Good job devs                 IVE WAITED FOR YEARS

I dont write many reviews yet this game was worthy of one By far one of the best and very fun game I have played on my iPad To me it was worth every penny I do hope the make a sequel and add on to this already great game Not saying the there wasnt any room for improvement but man I enjoyed it                 Great game

I played this through almost all the way but had to restart many timesbecause I would get stuck in a place I could not get out ofthis is an amazing game that has an amazing concept and idea but need much much more work              GREAT GAME needs work

An all round amazing game As many have said it is an 18hr or more gameplay of ZeldaLike experience All the people who gave this a bad review due to unlike value are wrong as a game this long would actually be able to go for 1299 So I beat the game myself and all the dungeons and bosses are at least in a value of 75 Zelda Quality I do like the ending as it shows so much graphics just like in the rest of the game This game has the best graphics good zelda quality and great playtime Some of the best is that this game includes a videocutscenes type play for some talking brainteasing bosses and dungeons as it took me a while to find out what to do for some and Ive beaten almost every zelda game known to man it also includes a good set of places along with spells a music instrument and more In the end it is definitely worth a value of 899 and I give it my 5 rating I very much hope a sequel is on creation as it would very much be worth time continuing                 An Unbelievable Experience

This game seems to have everything it needs to be stellar Its got a terrific score and decent graphics think early DSi but there are a few major flaws that cant been seen past I cant tell you how many times I said f this game very passionately The biggest flaws are with the controls For what this game lacks in overall challenge it makes up for the unnecessarily difficult to maneuver controls The item being held be it shield or bomb etc is randomly selectedactivated without being clicked You can be pointing the character to one part of the screen and it will move to the opposite The storyline is also fairly mediocre and forced Its also heavily copycatting LoZ Phantom of the Hourglass Amongst other things it carries itself well and its pretty alright for 10 What drove me to create this review was my runin with the boss the person below mentions I was about halfway through killing it which mind you took me about a halfandhour to get to and due to mechanical flaws Im not making excuses there was quite seriously nothing I could do about it my character was wiped out Is this an overall okay game Yes Would I recommend it to a friend Most likely no           Not For The Game Perfectionist

1 make it so that u cant get stuck in environments an example of this is on bomb island with the disappears bridge if u stop on it to say fight a bird then your whole save will be ruined as you will be stuck on a platform and not be able to get off unless u have the boots which arent available to you yet unless ur going back 2 make the end boss fight easier like maybe an auto save in between stages or something as well as a larger arena because it is extremely easy to get stuck inside little pockets where ocean horn will just keep on attacking u without u being able to get out              Amazing I just have a few requests

This game is enjoyable enough that I played it all the way to the end but its just barely so The worst part is the controls specifically the direction pad Its horrible Anything requiring precise control was a chore I often fell off of things and had to circle all the way back around to try again Its worse in boss battles because the perspective keeps changing as the boss moves so suddenly left becomes right and youre going the wrong way The story also is a bit incoherent the items you find are mostly pointless and theres not much in the way of direction I spent a lot of time wondering what to do and hoping to find clues by wandering around aimlessly On the plus side the graphics are great and theres no IAP           Good but

A great game if you trying to scratch that zelda itch The controls can feel awkward at times but its not a deal breaker              fun and engaging

Oceanhorn is the start of a new era for the App Store Move over Candy Crush Step aside Clash of Clans Say goodbye Angry Birds Oceanhorn shows you can have a AAA title on the App Store that has no inapp purchases great graphics amazing gameplay and a good story Oceanhorn is a Zelda Wind Waker spinoff that is just what the App Store needs The mobile gaming business is pretty shady with all of the freemium games and I say remove them all I recently deleted Clash of Clans in honor of this game I now only have eight games including King of Fighters Minecraft Crazy Taxi Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Hearthstone and of course Oceanhorn This is a shining moment for the App Store and I recommend that you buy this game This game shows Supercell and Rovio whose boss and show that you can make mobile games that arent all about inapp purchases My only complaint about Oceanhorn I guess the controls are a little sticky at times                 The Mobile Gaming Revolution Begins

This game is no where near the awesomeness of the Zelda series which this games graphics and gameplay are obviously based on it may have fancy graphics but the gameplay isnt good And it isnt really right to be comparing this to the Zelda series It just isnt as good        Not good

For an iPhone game this is indeed a great game Its solid and plays well However if this was a portable Zelda game on a Nintendo DS it would be a failure I often find that there is so much garbage on the iTunes Store that any halfway decent game deserves a 5 star rating I guess in a way it does deserve a 5 star rating from that perspective However I compare this game to all games and for what it is it is average and unimaginative Nothing in this game is original You can get the same experience from any portable Zelda The game clones the formula so precisely it even has the same flaws as Zelda such as a coin currency that becomes obsolete halfway through the game because there is nothing to buy at the shops Boss battles are definitely crappier in Oceanhorn than Zelda They feel clunky If you want to play a somewhat fun Zelda clone and dont mind going through the motions I recommend it otherwise I recommend finding something else or get a Nintendo DS and play a halfway decent portable           Generic Zelda Clone

Everything about this game is flawless aside from the occasional sticky controls This masterpiece takes me back to the year 2001 when I got my GameCube for my birthday along with a few games One of which being The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker Needless to say I could not put that controller down to save my life Oceanhorn albeit not quite as good as Zelda is the closest Ive come to a worthy Zelda type game EVER It is so incredibly rich and engrossing not to mention it has the best graphics of any game you will ever find in the entire App Store today                 Windwaker 20

I appreciate that FDG Entertainment spent the time to make a Zelda Like game for iOS They just didnt do it right The controls are the wrong choice for a game like this Thanks to them I died constantly while fighting the first boss The puzzles arent very indepth and interesting Theyre just a hassle that comes with the game Dont get me wrong I love puzzles but the puzzles here have nothing special to see and are very dull While making the game the devs forgot to make it its own game You can obviously see they tried too hard to make it Zeldalike It lacks its own feel Also The Legend Of Zelda has lots of repeatability Whilst this doesnt Overall dont waste your time with it Although Zelda games can be pretty expensive they are actually fun One star for it being a Premium game Another star for trying Deleted app after first boss        Boring
