This app used to work fine You enter your commute and open the app and it tells you how long til your train Not anymore It just ignored the time of day and forgets what you are trying to do Really poor Really irritating DaveMac77

Ok for non residents but not useful for routine commuters Needs to include real time info like coach and track info delays and cancellations etc 3rd Party apps parse the Keolis real time data into their apps Kind of strange Keolis doesn t do it with their own app Would be nice if this became a single source of info but for now still need to use T Alerts via iMessage and Twitter Too much fragmentation to get all the key info from Keolis but looks like they re on the right track to giving us a single source one day Would be nice if it integrates mTicket one day to Not very useful yet Pezzman77

Worthless kind of like the MBTA itself The app doesnt have real time train locations and doesnt update schedules if the MBTA cancels or delays a train The best app by far is T on time app If these guys had any clue they would copy their app but it is the Boston MBTA and if we know anything we know they dont have a clue Dont do it
This app is not helpful at all especially during the recent historic storms It would be great to have real time updates about delays prior to leaving the house This would reduce the likely hood of standing outside in frigid temperatures waiting for a train thats 45 minutes or more late Instead all you get is outdated schedule information Shouldnt the app administrator and MBTA be working together to provide more up to date notifications Commuters

A decent app schedules on line does a decent job of tracking your trip A few nits though that I assume they are working out statustracking often doesnt update unless you get out and get in tracking often goes by scheduled times and not actual times Getting there

Does alright for wat I need which is find general idea of times for stops but lately crashes anytime I open it I tried redox loading and everything but idk nothing is working but Im sure itll eventually clear but in the meen time its a pain in the butt Needs improvement

Upon opening the app for the first time you are guided through setting up a trip gently introducing you to app interface I continue to be impressed with the strength of its real time train statusschedule and delighted by the well thought out additional features like the ability to set alarms and the intuitive simplicity of the design Ive been so impressed in fact that I cited it as an example of app UXUI done right to my fellow web dev colleagues and design team Well done to all involved Finally Real Time app for the Commuter rail
The app crashes and takes a long time to give simple information like schedules It seems that there are network requests behind each tap The app is too slow to be a quick reference on the go Needs work Not useful to commuterstoo slow

The new update that lists all trains upcoming on MyTrips is a big improvement Particularly when going from South Station to Back Bay knowing what options I have within a certain time frame I key New update is useful

When scheduling a My Ride the information on the inbound Lowell line is incomplete The times jump from 8am to 510pm Also I rode on the Lowell line and it clearly did not have real time GPS data This is a pretty useless app right now Very buggy not yet ready Incomplete schedules no gps data

Cutting right to the chase I cant imagine a poorer choice of text color and weight Thin light purple text on a white background are you serious Im legally blind so I thought it was just me so I asked some friends to try to read it They could hardly manage unless the lighting was just right Im a visitor to this city but it seems to me folks who cant drive should be a targeted population not only of the service but of this app as well Unreadable

Theres a bug which is preventing me from selecting my departs from and arrives at station Ive reported the bug Also the app isnt clear where does the information for train speed come from GPS Also the ETE does update with delays Since its a countdown the result looks pretty silly Egtrain is running 7 minutes late Youre at a station thats 13 minutes away from your destination and the countdown says 6 minutes to destination Lets update the app to use real time data from gps Pretty buggy

My friend told me about this app and I was a little skeptical but after downloading it today I was impressed at some of the info it presented map of route speed time left gas saved etc Pleasantly Surprised
