Share your favorite pictures OI.Share makes sharing of high quality pictures easy by using a smartphone app that links compatible cameras to smart phones. It lets you import images from cameras to smart phones in a ...
I just recieved my TG3 I installed and opened this OIShare app on my iPhone 4 and the app wont focus on the QR code displayed on the camera My QRCode app can read other QRcodes just fine so its not the phone I can only assume this app isnt compatible Without being able to focus on the code you cant scan it If you cant scan it you cant connect the phone to the camera So you are out of luck     iPhone 4 with iOS 72 wont scan QR code so useless
Downloading pictures off the wifi feature from my camera to my iPad is really fast and easy But downloading videos from the camera wifi is crazy long it doesnt even download It doesnt matter if the video is 2 minutes or 12 minutes the loading circle spins for hours and nothing happens Please fix ASAP Thx           Fix please
OK Olympus if you are going to break Eyefi with firmware 20 for EM1 than at least add real time tethering to this app Wireless tether is a major part of allot of peoples workflows and you guys cant seem to add it Come on Eyefi has had it for years     Olympus Fail
Attempting to connect to new OMD EM10 The camera gives a digital WiFi password no QR code The camera doesnt show up as a WiFi option on my phone The documentation for the camera never mentions a QR code Without the ability to connect to my camera this app is just taking up space on my phone and App Support just goes to a promotional page no support at all     Connect how
simply to setup does as it should                 works well
Nice app but its like driving a mercedes Benz with flat tires It must include video support if they want to compete with the gopro users        Nice but must add video support
Looking forward to a windows phone version              Good
It is great to upload photos from the camera to family during no my trip But I just found out that wifi transferred photos are lower resolution than the cameras full resolution Guess it could be a combination of iCloud Photo Library and this app but the photos get to my cloud drive at a resolution of 2MP not full resolution of 16MP But I just use this app for sharing and then get access to full versions once I transfer them from the SD card              Great for sharing but not full resolution
The app does a couple things that are very handy and probably what we should expect at this point The wifi import functionality is a nice time saver I like adding that to my daily workflow to make sure my shots are backed up to the cloud I also find the geotagging useful But the interface is pretty limited Id like a more selection functionality I also cant seem to get videos to even show up for transfer Like I saidmother geotagging works pretty well but Id really like a bit more control over it I have concerns about battery life Like a lot of apps where there is no competition from other designers I think this app shows promise but needs work           Useful app but clunky and inconsistent
Have loved the remote control capabilities and wifi sharing with my phone until now Since I upgraded I am unable to create a connection to my phone any longer The app crashes as soon as I attempt to scan the QC code Frustrating to say the least        Worked great till I upgraded to iOS 81
Connected to my iPad nicely With iPhone 4 iOS 71 app will not focus the phones camera on the QR code Had manually enter password           QR Problem
The app is great when it works but connectivity issues are VERY frustrating Ive only gotten it to work once Often the iPhone or iPad will show the camera is connected when it actually isnt and theres no way to trouble shoot the connection Ive even tried deleting and redownloading the app to clear it but it continues to malfunction Olympus needs to do some heavy duty bug fixing on this app and hopefully add the ability to disconnect manually        Ok when it works but with lots of connectivity problems
The fact that this app works at all feels like living in the future but it can be so much better It generally works but its ugly and can be slow to use Please improve the workflow including between Apple functionality become a 1st class member of the ecosystem and simplify the configuration Ill send of an email with specific thoughts about this Thanks           Like living in the future but clunky
Wish they added the ability to record video startstopfocuszoom in addition to taking photos Itd be nice if the sync process also connects wifi vs just adding a profile maybe an ios limitation              Olympus photo app
The app is intuitive to use and easy to set up The key steps that worked for me 1 Turn on WiFi on the camera 2 Open the app on the phone 3 Click on the camera icon on the tab at the bottom of the app 4 Click scan and scan the QR code 5 Save the profile 6 Go into settings and make sure the phone is connected to the correct WiFi network that matches the camera display 7 Open the app and it shows blue and says on After the first setup its easier Just turn on the camera WiFi set the phone WiFi network to match and open the app The viewing and transfer of images works very well I also tried the remote control which was fun Im sure there are more controls Id like to be added but its a great start This will be really nice for viewing images on the go                 Nice app to link TG3 with iPadiPhone
Ive tried all troubleshooting that I could find online iPhone will not even recognize the connection Major feature is USELESS at this point     IOS failure to connect
Update after trying to use it for selfie I think what it lacks of the is mirrored display which is common to other selfie cameras with flip LCD Please consider add this feature for the next update Im an all time Olympus fan Transfer photos to your smart phone from camera remote control your camera apply Olympus filter and add OlympusOMDPEN logo to your photo Thanks Olympus for making this app easy to connect your phone and use I can share the image from my camera to my family or friendss phone directly I dont have to send them after we go home Very convenient to use                 Musthave feature for new generation camera
This app does not appear to be working in iOS 8 It is freezing at the point of Profile is Unsigned     Not installing in iOS 812
Ive not used enough to give a definitive opinion on its function but will say the instructionsdocumentation for using this app is terrible It could really stand some help and explanations under settings My primary use will be geotagging I tested it once and it didnt record despite having all set as it should I think someone in some forum noted that after opening the app and turning it on you cant hit home button on phone Well where was that explained I also just got off the phone with Olympus about logging intervals Nowhere that I could see to change frequencyor to even know what frequency is set at Turns out you cant change and the frequency is set to record every 5 seconds Now thatll drain your battery fast What were they thinking Im going to play with it more and see if I can get a good track with it and too see just how fast it does drain the battery Its a shame Olympus didnt do better with this appI know they can do better           Still Deciding
It would be nice if it had the Live Composite mode for OMD EM10 users But overall a good remote app Please update                 Needs an update for EM10
App relies on a local network bt iPhone and camera I live in an apartment and the App is picking the first camera it can find which happens to be someone elses camera No ability to override the default selection by the App        Disappointed in WiFi
I use the app with a new OMD EM10 and it does work very well for remote control image viewing or geo tagging It would be nice to trigger bracket shots remotely Also it would be nice to be able to post to Twitter Facebook and email images directly from the app                 Work well Needs a little more
Other than being able to view the photos you took on your tablet screen what good is it Cant crop or rotate photos on tablet to save on camera chip Make one false move with the camera and you have to reset the wireless connection between camera and iPad Really its easier to just plug the camera into your laptop I was hoping for a seamless connection and interface but thats not what I got     Useless
Can u please ad a feature that marks which photos u have already transferred to iPadiphone ATM there is no way to keep track if which photos u have tfrd and which ones u havent           Functional but needs fine tuning
Im really confused by the negative reviews and perhaps Im new to this level of photography but for an app that was so incredibly easy to configure does not require WiFi to operate and can remotely display your view from the camera to your phone I was impressed Sure there are a few features that would make the experience even better but as it stands I had connected my phone in seconds and was taking pictures of myself from across the room                 Wow Great feature
Nice to control camera remotely but really needs video support I thought I lost my videos the first time I tried to transfer the videos to the iPhone Hopefully video support is added              Nice remote
Being able to wirelessly transfer an image from camera to my phone or iPad for editingsharing is awesome Will try the geotag one day but love the wifi transfer                 Wifi transfer FTW
The app basically does what it is supposed to but with a few adjustments it could be a lot better the UI is dated and nonstandard Feels tacky cant select multiple photo selections on import Really useless modal dialog box asks me if I want to turn off the camera after each photo import have to dismiss for every photo I import Bottom line its obvious olympus is in the hardware business and not the app business A smart app designer could make this app feel more fresh and current           Annoyances
It wont let me import because its wifi doesnt work even though my phone is working properly and its wifi is on Now I have to import them from y computer and back to my phone This is really disappointing     Frustrating
Basic photo transfer app No video support           Photo okay no video
Finally included movie recording                 Wow
Havent been able to get this app to work on either my iPhone 6 or iPad with iOS 83 Both say connect with the camera but thats all that happens Save your space and dont use this app     Glad its free
Good to use                 Good app for Olympus camera
I cannot find anywhere else to post this I have the iPhone 6 plus Before I installed the public beta IOS 9 this app worked flawlessly after I learned how to use it Im confident it will be just as good with the new IOS 9 coming out soon At this time I cannot use this app at all with my iPhone I must use my iPad to transfer my photos from my camera with this app I love having these abilities                 IOS 9 beta not working
This app has worked great for me but I recently figured out that when I transfer images from my OMD EM10 to my iPad 3 the ISO value which appears in EXIF data for image on the camera does NOT transfer with the file to the iPad It appears as 0 when I view EXIF data for image using various image editing apps that display EXIF info Hopefully Olympus will address this issue in an update Otherwise the app works flawlessly for me              Great Companion App but
The app has serious promise but it is not intuitive enough for the lack of clear instructions Also there should be options for wifi importing to the phone instead of all or none        Needs better instructions wifi importing options
This is version 23 I used it on a riverboat trip in France and it worked well sometimes Alas it cannot be trusted to be started put in your pocket and taken out and used at the end of the day sometimes that works but sometimes it reports it was in one spot far longer than it was I suggest periodically checking where it thinks it is It is quite nice to be able to geotag within the camera right after the days shooting or for that matter at any point of the day say if youre about to enter a different time zone Note that only Olys newer cameras support this feature EM5 and newer I think it worked well with the EM1 Check your camera to see if it will do this if this feature is important to you           Geotagging Works Fairly Well
I see no reason they dont have the ability to make a video with this Its a pretty bad limitation        No video is a pretty bad limitation
My experience is using with the EM1 Once you get your iOS device connected to the cameras wifi a pretty easy process the app works smoothly and intuitively and allows many camera functions to be operated Frustrating that each time the camera needs to be directly adjusted ie by hand for things that cant be done remotely you lose the wifi connection and must go through the process all over again to regain remote operationie no automatic reconnection by my iOS device Cant that be fixed with an update or is it a limitation of iOS It appears that the app is limiting imagefile Save to a pretty highly compressed JPEG 2 MB file for highest resolution That small file size speeds up wifi transfer times of course but at the cost of compression artifacts Would like to see option to Save images at higher JPEG quality levels The range distance of operation seems pretty goodI had good results at least as far away as 3040 ft indoors All in all the wifi app greatly enhances the usefulness of my EM1 Id like to see Olympus open the API so that they and their customers can benefit from the input of independent software developers           Quite useful but needs improvements
I tried iPad iPad mini iphone none of them works Only iphone4 can get access with the epl7 Its terrible     It dont work with iOS81
Problems with this app 1 Clunky to connect You still need to manually connect to the adhoc wireless network every time The QR scan is just to initially transfer the settingspassword 2 Can only import one image at a time Extremely frustrating 3 Popup appears after each import asking if you want to turn the camera off 4 GPS logging crapped out after a couple hours and with no warning I ran the logging feature for 3 hours and only the first 2 hours were captured I love the EM10 but given the crappiness of this software for now consider the camera to not really offer wireless An EyeFi pro card has been working much better for me so far Cmon Olympus hire some iOS developers        Needs a lot of work
Ive had pretty good luck with the app on both my iPhone and iPad occasional disconnects and inability to connect but nothing major However FYI the app is completely broken on iOS9 right now closes immediately so dont run the beta if the app is critical to you              Very useful
I cant seem to use this app to shoot in HR mode on my OMD EM5 ii It shoots in normal mode instead     OMD EM5 ii HR mode
works fine on iOS9 GM                 Useful app
I often use tethered shooting for technical photography The wifi option in the latest omd offered the ability to do so with my iPad Sadly the feature list is very limited The are few controls that can be set from the app Comparing the app to the very informative viewfinder histogram focus peeking etc and customized menus it is clear that not much thought has been given to the ergonomics This is sad given the huge potential of such an interface        Very limited functionality more of a gimmick than a useful app
Works but really needs further development Really really needs to have face detection for remote shooting and video support           Needs face detection for remote shooting
Please enable Family Sharing on iOS 8           No Family Sharing
I just updated my iOS but this app wifi configuration is ridiculous Ive been trying to get it to work all day and have had no luck     Cannot configure WiFi
This app is functional for talking remote pictures and uploading them to your phone but the feature Im dying for is starting a video remotely using the phone I want to be able to remotely frame and start a video recording for blogging and such Please do this Olympus Please        Funtional but please add video support
This app is supposed to let you connect a smartphone to a wifi capable Olympus camera To set up the wifi connection you have to use the app to scan a QR code that the camera displays This worked on an iPad but on an iPhone 4 the app couldnt focus on the code Wasnt the phone camera because outside of the app the camera could get sharp images of the code I worked around it by taking a picture of the code with an iPad and then using the app to scan the picture It worked The app on both the iPhone 4 and the iPad seems to work as advertised but I havent used it enough to vouch for all its capabilities           Hard to set up with iPhone 4
