Alex you have done a great job on this Its a little tricky getting it to switch to linear scale in FFT mode and it would be great to see a single shot time domain capture held or captured in the frequency domain so it can be reviewed Other than those two points I continue to rave at your talent and implentation of this classic                 Brilliant execution

I purchased oScope the night before a lecture I had to give on partials and the timbre of musical instruments I was reluctant to spend five times as much as any other app Ive bought but I was desperate for a showandtell demo tool It did the job The kids got to see the waveforms and spectra of different instruments Features Id like to see 1 A reset to nominal ranges I got wrapped around the axle by accuse fatty swiping the display to the extreme magnification and I couldnt easily get back Exiting the app didnt return me to original scales 2 An info screen for version number contact info FAQ and help Maybe there is one but I tried tapping around and couldnt find it 3 A freeze button for the scope function The trigger function works but I also wanted to look at other than the initial sound or attack 4 A way of running this app along with tone generators Dont know if both developers would have to collaborate though              Priced right

A simple app done well oScope offers an oscilloscope that works with your iPhones audio input either the builtin mic or an external accessory The display operates at a high framerate and the gestures to change the scale of the graph are highly intuitive pinchandstretch gestures Theres also a frequency view a nice application of the Fast Fourier Transform that shows the input as a function of frequency rather than of time math geeks and fans of Karaoke Revolution will approve The app actually works on the 2G iPod touch if you have an external mic plugged in at launch though the framerate is lower and the app crashes if there isnt an input device to be fair Alex doesnt even claim to support the touch it just happens to work Still an upfront check for a device would be nice to see in an update as would an info button to indicate what the different kinds of graphs are For 999 this is a great piece of work Its worth it to me just to have my kids amuse themselves by singing and yelling into it and watching the waveforms go by                 Solid scope great price

If you cant record or even pause to look at the wave it is not of much use Way overpriced for what it does     Waste

It may not have a lot of bells and whistles but oScope is a very cool oscilloscope program that works well and is very cleanly implemented Easily worth 10 for the full version to get signal syncing I only wish there was an email address for questions or support The support site seems to be a blog with no input allowed                 Excellent little tool

Runs on original Ipod Touch with OS 30 and external mic Caution later OS 3xx wont support external mics and therefore this app on an original itouch App really works well intuitive to use Method of triggering the sweep is very good Great tool if you know how to use an osciloscope but if you dont understand how to use one you may not think this app is much good Plan to use it for ech analysis and othre things My mic has a line input so who knows what it will be used for in the future                 Outstanding

Alex What a useful tool youve written I own a machine shop lots of motors shafts etc Ive got a transducer which when mounted on a rod can be placed next to the bearing block Worn or failing bearings produce an instantly recognizable and much higher signal display than normal bearings                 Locate Faulty Bearings

Very nice job Some simple improvements would be to have the vertical scale adjustable in increments so it is easier to read It would also be nice to zoom horizontal in the fft mode to expand around a particular frequency of interest A way to save the raw data would be great too              Great App

This app is amazing and incredibly responsive Its been a fantastic opportunity to demostrate visual representation of sound to my kids and just generally survey the audio activity going on around us everyday A great value for the money this app out performs other oscope apps and is highly recommended                 Great educational tool

In the first modeleft side if you move the dashed line or scroll left or right the app crashes It is not fixed by restarting the iPad Please fix this error Other than that I love using this app very sensitive software              Great just fix the crash

Snappy with the essential features Five stars solid app                 Nice oscilloscope

This is quite a well done basic audiofreq range oscope and spectrum analyzer It has one major glass jaw however The mVDiv calculation that is displayed is incorrect in two ways 1 It is more than an order of magnitude off higher than actual signal amplitude I realize this is mostly due to probe type used 1x 5x 10x etc but at minimum the app should have a settings feature that allows the user to enter the probe scaling factor 2 I can sort of live with 1 but As I use a pinchgesture to change the Yaxis scale the value scales opposite of what it should be For example when I zoom in to make the waveform bigger to fill the display the mVDiv value increases It should decrease since the division size is fixed but as you zoom in the actual mV that each division represents is less Not trying to be overly picky But having correct voltage measurement is the most basic of oscope functions that just needs to work Otherwise the app isnt much good for more than basic frequency measurement and waveform shape analysis              Great app But bug in mVDiv display needs fixing
