Packing (+TO DO!)

I absolutely love this app I have tailored the default calendar to suit my needs specifically and plan all my trips with it I tend to put everything off tip the last minute and Would go COMPLETELY CRAZY without it The iCloud integration is great too allows me to add things when I think of them whether or nt my iPad is with me                 Incredible Help

This is not an application for those who dont want their shoes to be classified as accessories really or who wants to pack by outfit If you are the kind of person who needs an app to pack 3 pairs of long pants from the family of colorless featureless long pants that all look the same then it may be for you I want my lists to be defined precisely and this app takes FOREVER Added Yes I figured out how to create my own customized list of items and even put them into outfits The best about this app is that allows you to create new lists using old lists as a base and it syncs across your iOS devices The color scheme is pretty bad though              There has to be a better way

I used to love this app I used it for several trips Lots of great features It synced between devices so my packing lists were up to date Then something went wrong My iCloud data somehow became unreadable The synching process never stopped No matter what I did I couldnt get my customized lists back Tech support wasnt very helpful If my inapp purchases could transfer to the pro app then I might consider buying that but I no longer trust this developer Now if I want to use this app I have to start over which I did and iCloud still doesnt work     Used to be great now it doesnt work

I am having some crashes in editing mode while deleting multiple items from a list iOS 702 but no issues if I just swipe to delete The iCloud backupsync inapp purchase has been well worth it              Love the app

I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the initial learning curve I have used this for several years and travel every couple months on business and pleasure in and out of US including cruises This ap reminds me of things to pack for international travel which is especially a big help I depend on this ap totally even when going away for the weekend Can not imagine using a paper list again I recently looked at pro list and would gladly pay 3 for it but since my kids are grown and I just pack for me and my pup I really dont think I need the few added features Pro looks like it would be great for Moms with kids or even a wife who packs for spouse Thanks for relieving the dreaded burden of remembering what to pack for varied type trips I love it DC St Louis Mo              Works Like A Charm for 2 Years

This app does everything I want It took a few minutes to figure out but now that I know how to use it I love it                 Love this app

It is difficult to figure out how to remove an item from a packing list     from a packing list

I love this app I only have one problem with it but it just might be me I cant figure out how to delete an item from a list I can delete whole lists but not individual items              Great app

I think I would have liked this app if I was packing for just me but its clumsy and frustrating for packing for a family if you want to easily see that you need to pack say jeans for example for multiple family members        Hard for family

I used to like this app but every time it sends an update out it blows away all of my previous packing lists This is a real deal breaker foe me as I had lists for dozens of different activities Tonight i opened the app to set up a list for a music camp I am attending this week end and leading a work shop and my list is gone     Packing app review

Great App with lots of features to let you edit customize Also had a question and developer was quick to help                 Great App

You can quickly put in information for a simple list but it becomes onerous to put in more detailed data For instance you can assign which bag it goes in or which person it belongs to but doing so requires a rather clumsy second and even third edit screen Use of a simple pull down would eliminate the third screen while you can filter by person or bag you cant sort by either of those or better nested by those And unless you consider all your clothes equal the inability to easily specify things like which color of pants you intend to pack severely limits the ability to use it as a planning tool So difficult to use for more than one person or someone who is particular about their about their wardrobe Some simple feature adds could make this really usable           Obviously made by people who travel alone

After purchasing this application I went into settings to simply change a color scheme It tells me to do this an additional purchase is required Something as basic as changing the background color should be included if its paid for IMO well made Pro versions dont need to milk color schemes It comes off as selling ice in Antarctica and its why many apps get deleted        Pay Pay Again

Nice if you use their Master List but trying to customize it is not worth the time I tried adding 2 new categories for 30 min no matter how I saved them I could never find them again I had used it several times in the past never had this much trouble Guess il just take it off my phone till another trip comes up        Time to take it off my phone

This packing app is so customizable it makes it easy to pack and not forget something It is so user friendly and the design is pleasant to look at                 The Best

I use this app for every trip Even just an overnight or day trip Never had a problem Im a list maker so this app makes my life a lot easier I use to write down lists for trips from scratch each time I love that I can use a previous list and copy to a new trip to customize it                 Love this app

Downloaded app after seeing it advertised on Eagle Creeks website Started off with the 099 version then found that I needed to upgrade to use some features so I upgraded to the top tier and love the functionality of this app My learning curve took a while but I finally figured out how to navigate set up Types and Items from scratch Set up custom lists for different types of trips that I will assign dates as soon as I know when Ill be traveling Way too many features to list in this review Had one error message and relayed it to the developer who is very approachable personable and extremely helpful Awesome tech support and Ive had no issues with this app Best part was importing from iPad to iPhone Worth every penny spent Thanks Q                 GREAT App

Always been a list maker for trips but this kicks it up quite a few notches Its fun to work on and keeps me occupied during the countdown to departure time                 Very Helpful

This is an excellent app Very logically setup and easily customized Ive used it for weekend trips long trips camping trips and have a list started for a 4 week trip to Italy Very versatilefits every traveling need I highly recommend it                 Excellent app

I have been using this app for years to make custom lists for work and personal trips of various lengths It has great features for the completely OCD person like indicating what items should be packed in a carryon vs suitcase and it now has a way to mark things you need to buy for the trip I am a fan My suggestions for improvement are a more attractive user interface better exporting options easier sharing withsending to others more icons for new categories and turning off the default firstletter capitalization when entering new list items Overall this app totally meets my needs for a variety of trips and levels of input              So very handy

A bit wooden in setting up but that may be operator error I rely on this app Ive made seven lists that I customize for recurring trips I travel a lot for work with coats and ties and this serves well It allows me to save my mental planning for more significant matters like wheres the mornings coffee shop Buy it before your next trip Its why you bought your iPhone                 Gets me out the door

Ive had this app for awhile Back when it cost more than what it is nowWHY then do I have to pay AGAIN for features Are they going to charge me another 45 dollars every few years Doesnt seem right Seems unethical to me        Not happy

I like this appits usefulHOWEVER whenever I use it it has deleted my lists and I havent done anything to it like removing it It stays on my phone but saves nothing every single time        Good app

So i got this and started playing around with itnot thrilled sorry to say When i am packing i dont need to know to pack 3 pants i need to know WHICH ones to pack and i plan my business trips by what outfit i need on each day So unfortunately this app doesnt work for me Guess its back to the reliable paper and pen At least it was only 99 cents           Wont be using

I have planned seven trips with this app so far I cant imagine being without it Keeping the information from previous trips for reference has helped me to streamline the actual packing process and reduced how much I actually pack I like the ability to personalize the app in so many ways Whether Im packing for a foreign journey or weekend getawayI can be detailed as necessary or i can just keep it simple I love being able to start packing in this app when the first notion of a trip occurs During a trip I also use it as a reference and reminder I highly recommend it                 Bea

Really like this app Very helpful to be able to filter on people types of objects and be able to email list to Husband and Daughter as appropriate Love creating templates for different types of trips we do and then make copies of list to customize for specific trips The only negative I would really like to be able to see the People icon on the list view on my iPad mini so at a glance I can tell whose object it is Unless there is something I am missing I can only see whose it is by selecting the item or using a filter                 Very Helpful Packing List

I love this app If you take the time initially to input all your gadgets micsellaneous items etc and tag them with which bag you put them in optional weight etc the functionality is brilliant Super easy to start using very intuitive and absolutely great for remembering everything you generally want to pack I have my own list that I used to keep in a flat text file this is a great improvement over that however I cant say that Ive used much of the functionality of the builtin lists A great improvement would be for the screen where Totals are shown to display the weight that has been packed already Unfortunately it only shows the totals of all items you have entered per categorybag but if Ive taken the time to put in the weight of each item that I generally put in my carryon and I start packing and check the box for each item Ive put in the bag it would be amazing to get an estimate of how much weight my carry on has accumulated so far So for example lets say I havent started packing yet the weight should display 000kg Then I put my Jambox in my carryon and I check it off the list in this app the weight should now display about 015kg and so on and so forth as I pack more items Id love to see the screen where you enter information for each item save by itself both my girlfriend and myself have this app and we frequently forget to tap save we just hit the back arrow absentmindedly thinking the information weve put in has saved by itself              Love it would like to see better totals though
