I only play Nucleus and it s a great value at 10 It is challenging and fun and by no means retro I hit M to turn off the music and up to 8 times to silence the sound effects Improvements Scoring does not reflect areas of difficulty very well I try to achieve the highest level I can at the lowest possible points But the game does not keep track of levels reached only points which can be racked up at lower and less challenging levels Nonetheless its fun Pangea has vastly underpriced this game                     Great Bargain Fun Shooter longbottomj

Centipede or Fireworms is the only game which works properly Asteroids or Nucleus the keyboard controls do not work at all Cant even move your ship Missle Command or Warheads will only allow the left missle base to fire I researched the instruction manual on pangeasoft net to ensure I was using the proper controls Even after re boot the game does not function as advertised     Waste of money Montana642806412

Once you get over the excellent graphics and start playing you find that the controls are nowhere to be found My favorite is Warheads However I cannot change te missile launcher from the one selected by default in the game Anyone any ideas The other two games are ather boring comparatively I will cahnge my rating if I can find out how to contro the Warheads missile launchers             Graphics good game control really unintuitive snjses

I find this package of games to be extremely fun and enjoyable These games are retro with a very well done modern look feel and sound Plays very smoothly on all of my Macs including the older less powerful ones                     Very enjoyable with lots of replay value Fabin

When I play two of these games I sometimes feel like I m getting a mild cardio workout the excitement builds and builds Nucleus is absolutely addicting better than Asteroids or Maelstrom It is very difficult to master but once you get the hang of the controls you can get to the higher levels 8 or 9 frequently I ve never gotten higher than level 10 Graphics and sound are superior and the soundtrack is very good Fireworms is my second favorite I ve already played 9 levels after which it states You Win and you re finished Still it is a challenge and a great way to pass the time Warheads reminds me of Missile Command which I never mastered and I haven t played this version very much but the graphics and sound are great I would like to find more games that have this level of playability Good job Pangea                     Defines High action arcade Phil Midland

Pangea s software is always excellent and to have this set of 3 games available so cheap is a wonderful surprise These are not simple shareware a k a shovelware games but are top quality products which more importantly are incredibly FUN to play All are actually BETTER than the arcade classics which they pay homage to IMHO since the gameplay graphics and sound have been updated so much Note If your computer can handle it boost the Bling Factor to High and enjoy the incredible over the top effects A truly great GREAT set of games kudos again to Brian Greenstone and the crew at Pangea for all their work                     Grab it ASAP this is a GREAT set of game s CyborgOne

It has decent production value and if you re a fan of the classic games it bundles then you might well enjoy it But it doesn t offer anything new and has some odd quirks like the way you have to choose which silo missiles are launched from rather than it just launching from the closest one automatically as every other Missile Command clone has ever done             Cute but quirky Wade Tregaskis

There s no place in the game to find out the keymapping That s my only issue Took me two tries to figure out how to use all three turrets on the Missile Command Game I d also like to be able to change the keymapping since some of the in game settings mess with my global shortcuts Other than that the game is awesome Great graphics classic games             I d like to know what buttons to press dathagerty

It took me a while to get adjusted to the gameplay of these but I ve been playing Nucleus a lot So far this is the only free game in the Mac App Store that I have paid any attention Kudos for Pangea Software for keeping this classic freeware alive and putting it in the App Store Three classic arcade games are cloned and packaged as a single release and given some new life with great graphics performance and overall playing feel Fireworms is a Centipede clone Warheads is Missile Command clone and Nucleus is an Asteroids clone Pros Free graphics and sound are awesome gameplay is good if not addicting Those who like the old school arcade style games should love this Cons No built in documentation can be take a little while to understand how to play the games and use controls Documentation can be found online by visting the Pangea support website Doesn t seem to support gamepads and joysticks                     Best Free Game on MAS So Far DonovanBartish
