If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download Paper Layout for free from Apple Store. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 2.1 MB to download. The new Paper Layout app version 1.0 has been updated on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Works fine as long as every sheet you need to cut is exactly the same It s useless for me since I need to cut multiple sizes of sheets for my projects Having it all be the same size makes the app just about useless since the calculations for 1 sheet size are so simple     Useless mattshu

Ok I downloaded the App chose my paper size chose the cut size then nothing I tapped the whole screen and nothing happened I opened the information link and it told me to do what I already did No other instructions or help If anyone is interested in an app to design pages don t waste your time on this one     How is this app supposed to work G-Bug

I was really excited about this app it loaded then froze now when I open it it s just a black screen             won t work Yellshe

I ve used other similar programs but this IS the best I ve used The ability to show other options for a better sheet yield is excellent Only one flaw On the iPhone App it doesn t show the number of pieces you have to visually count On the iPad it clearly shows the pieces per sheet count A small fix I m sure I own a plastics company and we use PVC sheets that are 26 x 52 We cut thousands of sizes as we do a lot of custom work These are thin sheets 015 being most common and we cut them on a Polar Cutter paper cutter So just testing this on one piece we do that we usually get 27 per sheet on this program showed me how we can get 28 per sheet by rotating the last row of pieces That alone will save me approx 8500 a year Just for that one piece We do 2 5 million of this piece yearly THANK YOU developer Please consider calling the program a sheet yield calculator I would have found it long ago adding the option to add a gutter or trim to each piece we add 125 on one side and 25 on the other for trimming more when we die cut Acrylics uses a min of 1 8 more for the saw blade fixing the lack of a count number on the iPhone version                     Fantastic money saver imtigger2
