I can not reset my kids phone back to normal after the free trial period is over I have email the support line several times and still have not gotten a response        Access Denied

I certainly dont subscribe     App disappears from control device

The concept is great but 99 of the time I had to manually adjust the settings for my sons iPad because the apps always stayed locked when they were supposed to become available for him to use Im definitely not paying for an app that doesnt do its job when it is still in the free trial        I really wanted it to work well

After the PK app was deleted other installed software are still not accessible Dont install this if possible     Stay away from this app

Great app for my son He can take his phone to school and I dont have to worry about him playing games because I have turned off his access I allow access after school for a limited amount of time I would like to see the times in 15 min increments over 30 min increments but other than that I love it It took a few tries to learn how to best utilize the features but nothing too difficult                 Great app

I recently updated my iPad to IOS 8 and now I cant turn on the App Store to any of my kids iPads Actually every option under restrictions does not have a slide switch to move I do though still have the option to turn off apps and music           Time to update software

I was looking for an app that would allow me to set time limits on individual apps on my sons iPadeg 30 minutes 60 minutes etc All I was able to do was to turn offclose all the apps at certain times of day Not that helpful Quite frankly what I am looking for is what most people should want It offers much greater flexibility What I am after that I dont that this app or any other that I have found yet provides is the ability to set time limits on say individual gaming apps but not time limits on educational apps Seems like a no brainer to me        Cant Control Individual Apps

Great app It works just as described and other then some minor limitations apps get rearranged alphabetically on home screen its exactly what we were looking for I dont usually write reviews but at the request of their very helpful and speedy support person and i think Owner Teriann I am happy to give this app my endorsement                 Thanks Parent Kit

Its a good app I didnt have any problems like some of the other people mentioned It turned off ALL apps except the original iPad apps when it I turned on the parent controls I would like to be able to choose which apps they can play during this time for example educational or reading apps are ok whereas Minecraft or other games are not Thats really the only issue I had with it              Good app

Overall this app is very good it does what it tells you it will do and its very easy to use However you are not told when you get the app that it is subscription service that is over 60 a year If you have that much money to spend on an app like this go for it if not dont be swindled by their bad marketing     Good app but waaaaaaay too pricey

Someone needs to update this app immediately Since the iOS 8 software update my son has not been able to use his iPad because the App Store is gone as well as his applications I am upset and someone needs to fix this now     Cant Use IPad

One update turned this into junk Was using it great for almost a year then the update came and trashed it No longer can parents use multiple devices to control Time zones keep getting pushed back to cst and the scheduler now has a mind of its own Oh yeah their support now tells us that we are using the app the wrong way Very sad stay away at least until they do an update that roles back the changes they put in     Great to junk

I was a big fan of Parentkit but the last update is terrible It removes the Camera app when you use scheduling It makes it unusable I had to uninstall it from my kids iPads Sad        Last version removes camera app

Every time I try to change the schedule the app closes        App closes

Every time I add a profile specifically when changing the Age and Timezone the app closes     App closes when adding a profile

Read directions Does exactly what its supposed to I am able to hide apps at bedtime This app has great potential I would like to see it do more Shared screen an option to personalize an option to remove individual apps So far Im really enjoying this and the piece of mind that my boys cannot access the Internet or purchase apps                 Does exactly what its supposed to

This is the worst app I have ever had It doesnt work as advertise on top of that I deleted the app and they charged me again the renewal Now I have to call apple and take a bunch of time in the phone to take the charge away     DO NOT BUY

Considering that iOS devices have no functionality to setup and tweak app by app user accounts this app is a nice beginning For 40yr subscription the app should provide app by app schedules and not just the generic all AppStore apps condition Once that is done I will return and may give five stars        A Beginning

There was an issue with the an upgrade they did but the last update fixed it Very fast customer support I use it to keep my kids from using their iPads after bedtime                 Happy with App

I hesitate to give this 4 stars because ParentKit is one of those apps that has all good intentions but poor implementation Although it is helpful in curbing your kids access to technology it stops short of what most parents need it to do Its an all or nothing app Safari is either allowed on or off When it comes to apps all of the apps you have ever purchased at the App Store are either allowed on or off there is nothing in between You are not allowed to control access to individual apps This makes it impossible to allow access to the apps my kid needs to complete his homework without allowing all game apps as well This limits us to using web based study guides via Safari but that still leaves the entire Internet open for exploitation during study time ParentKit would be a wise investment if the developers allowed you to pick and choose which apps your child has access to on an individual basis Until that time the best you can do is limit access to every app youve ever purchased or simply turn off access to Safari and music This app has a long way to go since it only provides very basic parental controls but it is off to a good start Update Make sure you password protect your kids iOS device Without password protection enabled kids can easily delete the parentkit files needed for this app to function My kid deleted these files on his own within 5 minutes even though they were two layers down in settings With password protection enabled the files can only be deleted after providing the password I made the mistake of removing the iPads password to give my kid easier access to do his homework relying on ParentKit to lockdown the system But since removing the iPads password also allowed my kid to easily delete the device files supplied by ParentKit it rendered ParentKit useless Putting the password back on the iPad keeps him from deleting ParentKit behind my back              Not Ready for Prime Time

you CAN get it off your kids phone after trial runs out Go into their Settings General Device Management or Profiles in iOS7 and delete the ParentKit material there Doesnt do much that built in parental controls already do for 246 months Rip off           Meh

I downloaded this app for the free trial to see if I liked it Without any warning at all my subscription ran out and my daughters applications are all still locked It will not let me back in to unlock everything again I emailed text support who was quick to get back to me She said to go to my daughters device and delete a part of the app there Well it wouldnt accept my password I was able to change my password on my device to make sure I had the right one but kept locking me out of my daughters device because it wouldnt except the password I am no completely locked out of of her device which is not connecting to iTunes And Im going to have to wipe it clean I wish I had never tried this app Why would they not give you some type of warning that they were going to disable your access I could have easily taken off the restrictions had I known Do NOT try this app     Do NOT download this app

I love this app It has been very helpful for our family Ive been recommending it to everyone Its great that I can control it from wherever I am My kids werent thrilled but we have had a lot less fights about putting the devices down when its time I like my kids to be in bed on time and this helps a lot They know its going to turn off 30 minutes before bed and so our bedtime routine is much more relaxed now Also if they dont finish their homework then I dont allow them their scheduled time The games etc just dont come on and they dont argue about it I find this has taken the arguments about the devices away I cant recommend it enough Also I emailed them with an inquiry and I couldnt believe the customer service fantastic Dont believe the bad reviews Give it a try                 Great parental control app

Not perfect but most of the downsides are because of apple Basically ParentKit is acting as an IT manager at a company and your childs iOS device is an employees ParentKit lets you set the same restriction that an employer can set on an employees device Apple need to do a better job of all or nothing For instance you can disable all apps or no apps but I cant just disable a single app In addition I can disable FaceTime but I cant disable iMessage With a teenager I like this because if necessary I can take away the phone without taking away the phone I still want my son to be able to call home and I still want to see where he is via GPS If I physically take the phone away I lose these abilities and he loses the ability to call his patent s if needed Hopefully Apple will listen some of the limitations of corporate control in a future version of iOS              Not too bad

There is no parental control restriction code so your child can delete the profile and regain access to all the apps on his phone Maybe fine for younger kids but for teenagers its useless     Freaking useless

I cant wait to see how Parent Kit continues to improve the app so parents can have even more control over their kids user duration and individual app usage                 Great App

I love this app I love the flexibility it gives me in controlling the apps for my young teens The latest update has proven to be a bit glitchy However once I deleted and reinstalled the app all the problems have cleared up I love being able to set time limits for the teens to use their electronics              Great Flexibility

I tried the free month Liked the app ok Kids were complaining about it and it was kind of a pain to change the schedule Then I went a month with out it because I didnt want to pay for the subscription and I was tired of the kids complaining Guess what Ive now paid for it and its worth every single cent the complaining is no longer its just the wat it is now My husband is traveling for biz Im getting together tonight with some girlfriends and I have peace of mind with the babysitter that my kids ipad will turn off at 630 so they can get ready for bed and it wont be turned on again until tomorrow I would like to make a suggestion I would like to see a timer feature with this app Limiting the time along with the hours and this app is GOLDEN Please                 Worth the year subscription

Highly recommended Im not one to write reviews but my customer support experience with Parentkit was fantastic I had been using this app for over 6 months without issue but when I added my sons new iPhone I couldnt complete the setup I emailed their support and within minutes they got back to and we figured out my issue was me not entering the case sensitive setup code Then a day later I received a follow up email to check if I was able to setup properly I learned a few things with this experience 1 You have to read instructions even when you think you know better 2 That customer satisfaction is important enough to Parentkit to check in with me their customer 3 Even in this instant gratification electronic age some patience is still needed This really is a great app and well supported                 Great parental control app

I found this app after the last parental control app I used Appcertain starting having login issues for days at a time with no explanation ParentKit exceeds my expectations I love having individual controls rather than the allornothing control with the last app I used This all is great so far and it works when I need it to Ive been a customer for over a year and I love being able to schedule when my kids get to use their apps We adults have a responsibility to limit screen time so kids can have life experiences and not miss out on life                 Amazing App

Horrible app I went back to look at the 5 star reviews They must be fake I fell for the 5 star reveiws You can see the people who gave the great reviews have one liner reviews for a few other apps but a whole paragraph for this app Its a consistent pattern DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP Screws up your app settings     Piece of Junk

I started out with the free trial at first just to see how it works I thought it was pretty cool at first and compared it to other apps so its the easiest to manage or setup I purchased this app later to find out that I could already put restrictions on my kids device so the only actual benefit from this app is that u are able to control time frames of usage from your own device Thats all All iPadsiPhones and so on have the option for restriction settings And worst part is even after you set up a password for restrictions on your kids device in your devices setting Under a different option you can still delete the app of the parent control because its under managed devices Its no point of having a parent control app invisible to a kids eye when in the settings they can look it up read it and select to delete it Very upset with this app     I want my money back

A If you come to the end of your trial and you choose not to subscribe Follow these instructions to remove the profile from your childs device and lift all ParentKit restrictions On your childs device go to Settings General Device Management or Profiles in iOS7 and delete the ParentKit material there If youre considering future use it would be good to delete the profiles within the app as well The two are linked so you if you delete the one on the childs device youll need to delete the one in the app as well Otherwise you will encounter an error message when you attempt to set up at a later date Do this by swiping to the left over the child inside the app on the parent device The profile will eventually be removed when your trial runs out but it is not instant it takes a little while This is incase the parent changes their mind or doesnt realize the trial has ended                 Love it but have 2 buy coz its trial

Since upgrading to iOS 8 I have lost the onoff sliders for the individual restrictions with in the app I cannot turn on the App Store on my childs phone to download app updates There is no support section on the website to post this issue or submit a support ticket     Problems with iOS 8

My kids are actually happier with less device time Strongly recommend it Its the only thing Ive found that lets me control their access Once they dont have aps they get just bored enough to play outside do a craft get out the Lego play a board game Completely recommend this ap                 Love it

We love this app It really does allow me to schedule when my children can use their iPads from my own iPhone Its very well designed but it does have some limitations The profile can be deleted but if this does occur I am notified in the apps control panel When my 13 year old thought she was smarter then me and deleted the profile I only needed to threaten her with losing her iPad for good if it happened again once She got the picture It doesnt replace good old parenting but it goes a long way in providing decent parental controls I still give it 5 stars                 Finally

If you click no installing apps and then you delete the app your App Store goes away and SO do your GAMES Its just a viruses waiting to happen     HORRIBLE

It works Our son was sneaking his iPad at night Not anymore Yes you do have to pay a 6 mo or annual service but they let you try it for free for a month no payment info inputed We are still in the free month I havent found a better app that WORKS We will pay the 3999 for one year device to control our kids iPads It isnt cheap but worth it for us                 Works

Im a long time user of this app and an advocate of it because of what it has done for my family So when I did the new update today I decided to give it a review Its a great tool to help enforce screen time limits This is done by the parent remotely creating scheduled time periods of when the apps on the childs device are available for them to use The best thing about this app is that it has a free trial so you can try it and see the benefits for yourself                 This is a solid app Try it for yourself

This is a great app for what I need it for However the scheduled access time doesnt fully work It will remove the access at the correct time but it never gives it back at the scheduled time I have set So I have to go in and do it manually Fix this part and I will gladly give 5 stars           Great app but doesnt fully work

I do love the app but there is room for improvements if your going to pay as much as 25 per 6 month period The features are nice but added time slots are a must the app is constantly trying to reregister my kids phone every time I change any thing or grant him access to his apps again It could crashes frequently and could could have added control sections for educational apps and entertainment apps so that you can chose which apps can be turned off Other wise for the free month its a great way to keep your kid thinking that at any moment you have the control to simple deny them access to their entertainment How ever as I stated if Im going to pay 25 6 mo Or 50 12 mo There needs to be fixed to some of these issues           App is a great start but does need more
