I looked on line and found information about how to password protect a ZIP on Mac OS X None of those methods worked and it was easily worth the price of this app to not hassle with it Worked Was simple and saved me time and hassle                     Works great Tiger Squadron

A colleague sent me a PowerPoint in an encrypted zip AES using WinZip 11 on a PC I bought this app to open the zip and it worked fine I was able to make edits then re encrypt it and email it back to him Unlike WinZip it doesn t ask you to enter the password twice and it displays the password This is okay as long as you don t have any shoulder surfers nearby and you watch what you type carefully When you unencrypt with it it simply drops the file s into a directory where the encrypted zip was and quietly exits This was a tad surprising at first as I m used to WinZip on my office PC It does not give any choice as to whether you might like to choose a weaker encryption for compatibility with those who have ancient versions of WinZip but I really don t see that as much of a shortcoming This is actually quicker and easier to use than WinZip once you get used to how it works                     Seems To Work Perfectly EchoWhiskeyBravo
