I am deleting this app as it no longer opens to my local Patch which is the whole point of Patch I dont need another AP or CNN     Too much trouble to find local patch

This app needs an update Every time I open it it asks me to rate the app which Im finally doing If I try to click later it freezes Whenever I open an article half the story is missing Please update     Horrible

This app used to be terrific great source of local news uptodate well written Those days over very very old news if any at all Shame     Garbage

I was hoping that after time had passed since the previous reviews this app would have been better I find that I can not click on slides in the stories or use the interactive maps recent stories have had With that said I just wanted the app to get quick news which it does           Could be better

Its a pretty good source for local news in my city but a lot of times the news is outdated           Pretty good

I enjoy the content but feel it needs more work More localized news and better sorting of articles Ability to request alerts and updatesspecifically for local transit like shortline and rockland coach buses nj transit trains and metro north           Great ideaneeds more work

Totally useless now Its filled with so many stupid ads and pointless information from around the web its hard to find what your looking in this mess of an app It use to be clean and streamline and easy to read     Dont waste you time

I think a users experience with Patch varies by area as each neighborhood has a different editor Our content Norcross GA is always super local and informative with an occasional regional update Our editor keeps us informed of home sales stats cit hall meetings upcoming events recipes with local food sources etc I even won a contest by guessing where a heavily cropped photo was taken in town and received all kinda of cool Patch paraphernalia If it werent for patch I wouldnt have learned today that we have noise ordinance that prohibits mowing the lawn or using power tools outside before 7am or after 10pm Good to know As for the app its slick and easy to use I connected with my Facebook account and am glad to have Patch in my pocket                 Great for my area

Clearly this is a dead outlet I suggest you move on to another source App is broken     Dead App

This app frequently crashes but Patch has always been the best way to find out what is happening locally from locals until this week AOL sold patch and the new owners fired all the editors That means your local content creators are fired and without jobs Way to take the locality out of patch Shame on them     Horrible

App is fairtext truncates on iPad edges sometimes But worst part is contentsometimes current and relevant but mostly lacking in any stories can go weeks with nothing new     Needs work more attentionlacking in content

I actually met the team that maintains the AOL apps Theyre condescending jerks Now I see why Its to shift attention away from their own flaws Its hard to believe they get paid for what they fail to do     Simply Awful Software

Patch used to have great regularly updated local content Now filled with clickbait tabloid style stories and nonlocal content I can get just about anywhere     No Longer Local

I use this app a lot but it needs a serious update Favorites dont stay you have to keep putting your location in     Please Please UPDATE

One of the most frustrating apps when it comes to user experience Way too many taps to do anything unintuitive navigation and general unresponsiveness     Slow Unintuitive

I like the Patch app but its not the most intuitive It should launch by default to my local Patch I dont know why I have to save my area to favorites and select it every time I launch the app Even then I repeatedly save my area to favorites only to find later its disappeared and I have to save it again Hopefully these things are simple fixes thatll come around in the next update        I like Patch but

Always says cant find a connection my Internet works fine and all my other apps and Internet work     Never works

This used to be a great ap a lot of town news Now its all ads and no town news only things from aol Will be deleting patch     Not worth your time

could be easier to use larger buttons or ways to search what your looking for But works fine for checking local town events           okay for local info

There appears to be problems with the level of security in the App Today while I was reading a local news story a popup randomly appeared on my screen The popup was advertising an opportunity to test a IPhone 7 Unfortunately the popup froze my screen so therefore I was forced to press the ok on the Popup From there the popup led me to a phony apple website that announced testing for an apple 7 Although I do not doubt that Apple is making an apple 7 I do not believe that they have given the public the opportunity to test such devices After I saw the popup I decided to search the legitimate Apple website for such opportunities As expected I found no such opportunity After I looked throughout the Apple website I was finally convinced that the Popup was a scam Fortunately I did not give any of my personal information So therefore I am safe from any significant loss of money From my knowledge of computer software the patch app could have taken steps to protect itself from these scammershackers Unfortunately they havent had enough concern for their users to protect them from any kind of monetary harm     The App is insecure

This app does not remember your local patch and doesnt save any favorites I enjoy reading my local patch from my web browser but not on this app     Has an important bug

This is not the first time Patch has let their app break and ignored the issue I take it that they have no active development for the app I submitted a support ticket on their website anyways Hopefully they will either update it or pull it from the App Store due to no longer supporting it     Ticket submitted

Goodbye Patch Im deleting your apps unsubscribing after Hale Globals treatment of local editors what kind of people fire 90 of their staff via conference call None that I care to associate with     Shameful staff relations

This sounds like a good idea on paper however this app is junk Its not updated properly the news is not news its what some little over worked young editor unpaid thinks is news in bedroom communities Nice college try AOL but your organization is over     Crap

I want to get a calendar view on what is happening locally but this never updates so the screen is full of old posts about snowstorms     Useless app

My app hasnt uploaded new stories since July Ive been reinstalling and uninstalling etc since May to try to make it work Every few weeks it catches up to news from a week or two ago Deleting now Let me know when it works again     Patch needs patching

Very rarely is there local news I dont really understand as the twitter and Facebook Patch pages have local news daily Also there hasnt been any new news in about a month or so Nice when there was news Now nothing     Wheres the local news

Patch went from a good source of local news to mostly link bait to an app that refuses to remember your settings so it presents you with national news each time and then each time you are supposed to change it to your local news Its not worth the frustration any more so its time to remove this app     Rarely has local news

The design and navigation make no sense and the information is rarely updated and is of little value There are times you click on a story and you go to a blank page     Awful utterly useless
