This was and still is Bungie s greatest creation IMHO I recently came across my old install disks 3 1 2 floppies and thought it was worth a google to see if a port existed I ve only played the first couple floors but so far this is awesome                     Nailed it BillL1118

This was the first Mac game I ever bought back in 1994 It was great fun then and it still is It was a bit easier back in the 680X0 days using a game controller especially since I m left handed but I m plodding along It doesn t have photo realism but the graphics are surprisingly good and so is the gameplay And you certainly can t beat the price A big THANK YOU to the people who took the time to port this over to OS X                     How great it s back Bleed6

It s a good game I gave it four stars it s pretty faithful remake but if your going to play it you need a walkthrough but thankfully theres something in the help section called Visit Fansite it has a walkthrough of the game and it s challanging but in a good way the game is great you should have it a try                 it s great but a walkthrough is needed Jallerman

My friend tom and i used to stay up for days at a time playing this back in 1993 when it was a brand new release Using only the hint book it took us forever to figure out all the little tips and tricks to beat the game It took us forever but we enjoyed the hell out of it So happy to have it on my mac So happy in fact i called tom and we are pulling a nostolgic weekend gaming session to play it again Only this time with beer and not juice Techincally it hasnt crashed once on me the code seems flawless Great Work                     Amazing Well Done gtaylor1023

This game is truly epic I used to play when I was 11 12 years old Brings back great memories I assume you can t sell it due to licensing issues but I sure would pay for it over many of these other new games with pathetic storylines This really is a hard one that takes a lot of time but if you have determination it can be a lot of fun This new 1 2 update does indeed fix the ceiling and floor fixtures and makes the game even more true to the original Keep up the good work                     Amazing Port John-Robert La Porta

there is a game time bug found when you save a game or a start a new game or restart a game the game leaves off with with the last time recorded i e if the wrist watch last records 9 00 am saturday before the player gets killed or decided to restart the game will start at 9 00 am satruday would give it 5 stars if it were not for this bug                     found a bug jtegrity

I was hopeing that I d be able to play with my mouse controls I was very disappointed when I opened preferences there was no choice to select mouse movement             No Mouse control Billmfoto

Good work on porting this Playing this now is EXACTLY as I remember it back in the day which is both good and bad Good in that kids now can experience what FPS started out like and for historical purposes working software like this isn t lost to time and incompatibility The bad side is seeing that yes this really is what it was like what we spent hours upon hours of our young lives playing in order to beat the game That said it s also telling that even though graphically we ve seen a lot of enhancements the basics of gameplay still haven t evolved far beyond the leap into 3d that Pathways and Doom provided I d find it interesting to see if anyone wants to make spin off games of some kind looking for creative new ways to play something based on the simplistic premise of Pathways                 Exact port good and bad look into the past Hobyx

This game is amazing I have to give it 4 Stars only because it is crashing before I can play It was working last night and then I tried opening it today and the menu comes up Saved Game Selection but I can t play at all All the menus come up for the in game features except for the World window I can click on the Delete Game New Game and Begin buttons but it crashes before the World window appears Halp                 Was working last night David P. Just a little note to those people who are praising the amazing quality of the port it s just a Carbon port which means that inside the application there is the Mac OS Classic version inside of it However working with Carbon takes some guts and some Carbon ports are just utterly HORRIBLE But the Developers who develop this amazing port did just a fantastic job I have to give you guys kudos for that Hopefully you guys could port some other Mac OS Classic games Cough Cough Myst Cough Cough                     It s just a Carbon port but it s a good Carbon port Conelrad1951

First they brought back Spin Doctor then Glider and now Pathways into Darkness I m loving all the attention these old classics are getting and playing them is a blast This game is perfectly brought back to life Everything works flawlessly and I can t see anyway they could of made it better I first played this game when I was maybe 10 years old Surfice it to say I didn t get very far The game relies heavily on trial and error and guesswork Luckily the internet is now a thing so if you get stuck Invisable monsters you can get some help Make sure to read the manual beforehand and don t run out of time Now someone please bring back Pegleg                     Great Game Fantastic Memories MGB3558

I m so very glad to see this classic back on newer hardware I remember late nights playing through this game with my father and being in awe of the detailed story and complexity of the gameplay Don t be fooled into thinking this is just a classic first person shooter it s not Pathways Into Darkness is an Adventure game in the classical sense like King s Quest and Monkey s Island but bonded with elements of FPS and RPG My favorite puzzle of all time is still the trap in the level I d Rather Be Surfing                     My Old Love Deram Scholzara
