This app is way too confusing I have purchased several add ons and there is insufficient information to explain how to use Very frustrated     Help Knits and roses

First it s really not free since there s not much you can do with it without the in app purchases The problem is you only get to rent the features for a pretty stiff price 16 for a year For a one time fixed price I bought intwined and it s mine forever         One of those darned rental apps StashKitty

I primarily use an app on my mac an old outdated one called Intwined for my charting but this app has some features that Intwined can t even touch row and pattern repeats custom cable stitch symbols need a 4 2 4 cable You can do it here brioche barks and burps and even a few eastern Japanese stitches in the library When working cables its definitely the best If you can put up with the near constant crashing I have learned to NEVER hit the undo button which will cause a crash about 95 of the top Instead i manually revert things to how i want them Its time consuming and totally unnecessary for a modern i e since 1995 app but for small charts or those with unusual stitches its sometimes worth it Are the extra features worth the 16 year price tag Well without them its a pretty limited app But theres not an in app purchase option for no crashes so i suppose that depends on how much you can put up with crashing That said i wont renew my subscription for a second year             Nice features many bugs hal0thane

I downloaded this app a few months ago and purchased the complete upgrade package It s a great app but it crashes CONSTANTLY for what seems like no reason I usually have to go back and redo a large portion of my project and hope it doesn t crash again Normally I wouldn t complain about this but I paid 15 for the upgrades that only last a year and my iPad is new and iOS is up to date I can t find any customer support whatsoever so I had to write this review I m hoping someone who can help me will see it and get it fixed     Crashes mara_ellen

The app was upgraded today and now includes more cable options and Japanese stitches as well as alpha numeric symbols In addition repeats can be edited to have non vertical edges This is a highly useful and powerful app I love this app I ve used a cross stitch program and Excel in the past to chart my knitting This is much better I love that I can customize the abbreviation and written instructions for each symbol I love that I can customize the symbols and save more than one customization for each symbol Integration with DropBox is automatic and completely seamless The PDF output works great with every program I ve tried Being able to work on my designs where ever I am on my iPad has given my imagination wings                     What I ve been waiting for chari53

I posted this review in Ravelry and I am reposting it here I have been searching for a charting app in order to convert my written instructions to charts PatternGenius IS the BEST It has been surprisingly intuitive And the instructions are well written and easily accessible during the process of creating a chart I was concerned about the yearly subscription price but considered the 15 99 price reasonably and comparable to a quality magazine subscription Thanks for creating an amazingly robust charting app for fiber enthusiasts I love It CherriLH                     Really REALLY Excellent App SoulSister in Appalachia

This app is for anybody who designs knitwear or just wants to make their existing patterns easier to use The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate through And if you get stuck the built in help is right there It is sooo easy to create charts and generate PDFs And it works seamlessly with KnitCompanion Knitters now have the best of all possible worlds                     Amazing Knittin' queen

I may never get much use from this APP because I do not design knitting patterns but there are a few futures I think will be helpful to me and for the price even the full option it is worth it The support that is offered for the KnitCompanion APP offered by the same developers is beyond outstanding so it will be a great purchase                     Another winner Mine1823

This is a fantastic tool customizable to what the user needs At last a way to create a very clear pdf using standard symbols a key and color In app help is clear and developer support for any questions couldn t be better Well worth the customizable cost for the bells and whistles and the modest investment in time to learn to use it                     Great chart making app claresfish

I just got this and I think it could be a powerful app On your screen shots you show a bottom line Mine is obscured by the infamous ad line And how are you supposed to get an in app purchase Get rid of the ads and I will probably give you a 5 star             What bottom line Snoopyknitter

I downloaded the app and like it except for the rotating scrolling ads which are extremely distracting when one is trying to enter a complex pattern How about charging 5 00 for the basic app and ditching the ads             The ads may drive you crazy Susan Rubendall
