I used the older version daily The ios11 upgrade TOOK it away with NO CONSIDERATION given for it as a PURCHASED App Upgrade Finally got over the NON RESPONSE from Developer and purchased this new version Tried to Clipboard copy photos as previous version NO Used feature inside App NO Tried selecting one NO I see now where it is divided out into a seperate app with ADDITIONAL COST So much for another perfectly good App GONE Must have REFUND     PDF Splicer therevsquilts

This app is exactly what is needed if you want to insert delete rearrange update pages of your PDFs file This is the only app I found that will allow me to actually insert a new page into a pdf file easily Once you watch the helpful video the interface is super simple I was able to do everything depicted in the video and it is really simple and fast I spent a lot of money on other so called PDF editors that said they could easily edit files Bull Not one would allow the inserting of a page into a PDF file all those other editor apps would actually do is mod existing pages with colors or highlights and add annotations but no page insertions This app does exactly that I love it                     Best Editor of PDFs files out there LookupAP

This app does exactly what it says unlike a lot of other apps which advertise similar capabilities but don t deliver This app does The video is great watch it before you decide to buy the app Everything is explained in the video I ve been looking for an app like this since I ve had an iPad If you use PDF this is indispensable You can manipulate pdf s in a variety of ways It s a very cleverly designed app and very useful to the user It has a lot of features that help you keep track of what you re doing it has a basket feature that informs you how many documents you have collected and ready to use It s almost like a clipboard pasteboard feature You can move pages rearrange them delete them revert back to a state before you deleted them This is an essential app The user can accomplish a lot with pdf s with this app Nice work Good luck with all your future apps I forgot to mention the developer is very friendly and answered a question I had the same day                     Great App Mattressback

For the fairly simple task I needed it to perform this app was actually easy to use Literally no other app will let you ROTATE a pdf and then SAVE and EXPORT the rotated version This app does that It connects with all my other apps Dropbox etc to import and export files Exactly what I needed I can now scan long legal sized documents on my PC and then correct the orientation so I can work with them on my iPad apps Thanks                 Not intuitive but does what no other apps will thimble8

I was a user of the first version of PDF splicer that worked well This new version is much different hard to comprehend when saving adding it to the now needed basket before being able to splice I don t recommend it     Difficult to navigate Doc pusher

I use this app regularly to move PDF pages around in files It is a go to app for me and does its function well I can move around in it well and recommend I rate it MEDIUM 3 stars the interface is not intuitive The Clipboard common term for copy paste is called a Basket COLLECT pages into the BASKET instead of COPY or CUT to the Clipboard A file cannot be renamed once its brought into the app I have several version of the same PDF and would like to differentiate by renaming the files as I work on them move pages around the SELECT and EXPORT options for a file make sense once its understood I stepped away from the app for a couple months and had to remember these Better menu function handling Moving pages is handled better in this version with Drag and Drop             RECOMMEND Useful App Interface not intuitive Needs some minor tweeks fsht@nk

I use this to merge specific pages from multiple files and it works great for my needs They export easily to Dropbox and from there to iBooks that last part has nothing to do with PDF Splicer I have other apps that do this but they do a million other things and that slows everything down My suggestion to users or folks who try the free version is to WATCH THE VIDEO The app is not complicated but the 10 minutes or whatever watching the video will really pay off One small problem is that this version of the app appears as PDF Splicer not PDF Splicer 2 When I first paid for and downloaded this after trying the free version I thought I had purchased the first version                     Just right BackgammonPlayer

I upgraded to new app with iOS upgrade Still works well I use it weekly and it works well for letting me split PDF files that I receive as FAXES to remove cover sheets and separate the different components into files Easy to use New version obscures the long names my files have the old version did not Also the pages are blurred until I click multiple times on the file name I can easily export the files to other apps on my iPad I have had no problems combining pages from different files into one file If you need to split PDF files this is the app for you The best I ve found                     Good app Boxer Lola

Ver 2 can t email selected pages as Ver 1 did Upgrade to this latest iOS supported version for another 5 00 So they make it so you can t open in in version1 but you can select you PDF to open in Ver 1 while in Ver 2 and miraculously Ver 1 still works Nice trick Renamed functions confusing Why     Review R I P P E D - O F F

I bought the first PDF splicer and that app rates 5 stars as it is intuitive fast and a excellent program vs an app The new version while on the service is a vast improvement it isn t worth the money I spent for it because of it slowness I tried and it is junk It s interesting that the video tutorial was problaly done on an Mac so the the slowness wouldn t need obvious Since pdfsplicer 2 isn t interested in fixing broken programs I deleted 2 Lucky for me the the GoodReader PDF program that I read with did a major up grand so that I can do all of pdfsplicers functions that work and easier     Still S L O W 0 stars stBurch69

I was looking at a software that could edit some of my PDF files this looks like a good answer I wanted to be able to delete rotate combine and move pages It looks like it does it all The video is very promising I do believe in supporting good software so I purchased the full version                 Easy and Simple svcohen

I had previously written a rather scathing review of this product I ve since discovered that the worst of the problems I encountered were partly due to the document I was trying to splice itself Not a formatting issue though so much as a probable corrupted file on the first file I attempted to use in this app HOWEVER it does still continue to crash from time to time on other files as well but it s not so pervasive as to completely prevent me from working with those files Hence the minor upgraded rating to two stars If the developer manages solve THAT problem without introducing other problems in the process I would have no hesitation about a full five star rating for the app The developer s customer service however isn t likely to get much more than a 3 star rating They give no credit whatsoever for customers who d already purchase version 1 and they ve not responded at all to my earlier one star rating Ergo I m not at all sure they really care very much what their customers think AFTER the purchase is already made Furthermore they seem to have a decidedly user UNfriendly way to contact the developer Their website contains the web address for their support folks but NO links to them or to any other part of the company So you ll have to squint to cut and copy a VERY fine print email address to paste into your email program or write it out longhand then type it into the address line of your email Although the app has a LOT of potential to be one of the best productivity tools in he App Store history shows that companies with the best mousetrap in the world who ignore their customers concerns and offer no incentives to their previous customers to keep them coming back well those companies especially if they re young companies don t tend to stay around very long hopefully they ll be bought out by someone who DOES care about vigorous customer service who will make a fortune continuing to market a good product AND providing good customer support         Amended Review it isn t crashing ALL the time Fling Wing

This did exactly what I wanted to do which is modify an existing PDF file by adding pages from another PDF file rearranging pages very easily and then simply renaming this new file into ONE combined file to send via email all in matter of seconds remotely on my iPad Air This saved me time and the headache of having to boot up my company laptop to accomplish the same thing Great for submitting orders or working with multiple PDF files                     Great app dolphinman64

Have used the app on a couple of dozen pdfs so far It took some trial and error to get up to speed but in general it worked These are my observations Bringing pdf in from Evernote and from email is seamless and works well Exporting to Evernote is seamless and works well The GUI of the app is rudimentary You have to learn how to select documents and then select a page or pages within the document and then which button in the toolbar to use to edit Editing the title of the document works well Trying to move pages around in a multi page document is not intuitive We should be able to move the pages to the position desired as it is in Adobe Standard PDF splicer requires you to enter the number you want the page to go to This works OK for pages except for the last page To move a page to the last page you have to move the desired last page to the next to last page and then move the last page ahead of the last page This is currently clunky and I look forward to it getting updated It would be nice to have an undo button The way the app currently works is that on exiting the document it asks if you want to save it Rotating pages works fine Overall the app has the minimum functionality that I expect for the price             Basic drylowemissions

Don t waste your money The user interface is extremely unfriendly And at this point you can still only open files from another iOS device For this price it should connect to DropBox and other networks The original is much better     Unbelievable MGS1950

I don t ever write app reviews but this one is well worth the money Very user friendly and the instructional video made it that much easier to get started quickly In my first use I probably saved myself at least an hour s worth or work with more saved hours to come                     Well Worth It Game Stinks 765498

I have the first edition and loved it I thought the 2nd would be just as good as the first but it s not 0 The first version had a couple extra options 1 The ability to insert a blank page Portrait or landscape style This allowed you to put in blank filler pages which I found quite useful I hope this feature is brought back I would also like to see the ability to export or send pages to the photo gallery If these options Are brought in it will easily become worth 5 s                 Missing A few Previous Features My Theory
