I used this app to try and fix a book document that I had I didnt have to original Word document so I needed to export a PDF into Word Talk about a complete mess becuae it doesnt recognize the Garamond Font I also had purchased PDF Expert about a month ago to do the same thing Needless to say PDFelement was supposed to do more than PDF Expert as for formatting and using the same fonts PDF Expert really saved my skin on this one and not so much for PDFelement which cost more than PDF Expert         PDFelement 6 B0b2

They tell you it s a free trial and you can use it but what they don t tell you is that all of your PDFs will include a watermark I just spent an hour setting up a professional document needed for government filing purposes When trying to save I am asked to pay 29 99 becuase the trial version includes watermarks WHY WAS THIS NOT MENTIONED TO BEGIN WITH I never would have used or tried this software out for purposes I need it for as how can I truly test this in a business setting when it s covered in a watermark Once the free trial is over I completely understand having a watermark Heck once the free trial was over I probably would have bought the software becuase it was simple to use somewhat No way I am buying now Spent way too much time setting up a document I cannot even use What other suprises will come down the road after I have paid Change your lingo and inform your customer base this is a limited trial offer as you do not get everything a true free trial would offer You won t see a dime from me just a one star rating from an upset customer     Free Trial NO Nothing about this is free Dani - Lapo

If an application can find a way of screwing something up this one does it in spades Any attempt to convert from PDF to any other format leaves you with a competely incomprehensible mess that can only be fixed by deleting the original and any saved copies and starting from scratch This is the type of product I expect from a windows box not an OS X application that attempts to make you pay I might consider buying it if I had any inkling even the slightest hope that it would actually allow me to edit and save a PDF Unfortunately it fails at all levels A complete waste of time disk space and effort The amount of time spent is part of my life that I will never get back Try at your own risk and don t blame me if they screw up your documents as badly as they screwed up mine I suggest the authors programmers and support staff all take up competitive needlepoint because as a software developer they fail miserably on all counts     A perhaps unsurprising failure Roger -Dot- Lee

I am quite impressed with the capabilities of PDFelement and the improvements in recent updates It is really simple and intuitive to use Very little learning curve while very powerful program I often convert jpgs to PDF and add hand drawing on it Also I often change the order of the documents this can be done very quickly and simply Great to have this time saver                     Great editing and commenting tools Candycrowner
