Purchased this in the early days for my kids Yes now I have an iPad mini and an iPad 3 for my wife and myself but we kept the iPad 1 for the kids I imagine there are a ton of people in this situation wish they would restore iPad 1 iOS 5 support for the kids If they did I will re rate 5 stars Not going to give the 1 star like some others it s a great app and still works just wish we could get the updates             Wish supported iPad 1 Xao

The story itself is good though much shorter than I d expected For 7 you d think it would last more than one bedtime As an app also it was quite disappointing It s missing even the most basic functionality You can t pause it for instance or bookmark your spot It doesn t even pause momentarily if you click on the menu which covers the screen such that you can t see the story Nor does it automatically resume where you were if you actually close the app Again considering that so many apps range from free to about 5 for the price of this one I really expected more If their other titles were about half the price I might consider them At the current price though I won t             Disappointing spoko spoko

I had an initial problem which turned out to be on my end playing the app the folks at Moving Tales were so gracious about helping me solve the issue This is a wonderful way to get kids to read the words are there pronounced and the stories are richly told The art is superior in design and the voice over pleasant to hear more then once which you children will demand Worthwhile                 Great App great content studious development nicky pencils

My daughter s bedtime came and went before we realized just how much we were enjoying this app I cannot believe the replay value of this book Our favorite feature is the ability to record our own voices reading along with the animation My daughter 9 reread pages over and over trying to get them just right Not only is this a charming story but it also has beautiful animation and she was practicing her reading without realizing it Yes there are big words but that is a major plus                     Couldn t get enough DamePansy

When I initially downloaded the app I was amazed at the animation artwork and the storyline was great Unfortunately I had a couple of glitches in the animation but that is why I am now a loyal customer I have not been more impressed with any company than I have been with these guys I emailed them with my issue and they were immediately responsive Their most recent update fixed the issue and it now works flawlessly Prior to the update I always had to reboot my iPad for the Pedlar to show up That issue is history with the update and she walks onstage every time These guys are Professionals and I appreciate how they are so responsive to their customers Looking forward to purchasing their work in the future                     You ve got a loyal customer airmac

I like the story and enjoyed the animation However I do not find this story appropriate for young children The words are too advanced for children under 8 years of so and there were too many words on each page for my three year old He wanted to touch the screen to try to make things happen which they did not The movement held his attention pretty well but what he was seeing was a little too surreal and puzzled him It seems as though the timing in matching up the animation and words could be better as at times the scenes would start to repeat before the audio was done Still my husband and I enjoyed it                 Good but Beffalianna

I was curious to see what all the raving was about But how is this different from some old TV program for kids with a narrator and super simple animation Instead of the future I saw the past About 40 years back to be more precise Sure different device and different delivery But nothing exciting IMO         Like a low budget children s TV program DutchMark

I think that this is a wonderful e Book with pretty animations that really help tell the story My only complaint is that the story is aimed towards younger children but the story uses lots of large words that are way above my children s aged 5 4 vocabulary level However I prefer to do the reading myself rather than having the book read to them by the iPad so I get around that by paraphrasing the story so that they could understand it                     Great e Book Ron from Oswego
