Seems like a great concept Would like to be able to leave the app open and have the phone sleep until someone approaches it for a message then have it come on Love the motion detection feature but again would to be able to keep the screen off for security no matter what motion was detected I will keep the app and hope for future improvements but it is ok for now App has randomly crashed a few times as well I know this is new so not expecting perfection yet Has potential

Once you setup the portal you really feel like there is this nearby connection to the person on the other end No messaging no calling no dialing just start talking Truly amazing Wow this is awesome
Seriously How do you mount it on the wall Congrats to Danny Robinson on the launch of a very cool concept Today I heard a podcast where he describes this product as removing the friction Im a father who spends a lot of time on the road That friction prevents me from using Skype or FaceTime to regularly connect with my kids I look forward to this always connected interface Fantastic addresses a real need
What a clever idea I miss the collaboration that I get from being in an office with colleagues Some of the best ideas come up in the times between meetings When Im in my home office Perch will allow me to keep connected through a constant video connection Keep up the great work Love this App
This new release did not fix the camera stability issue Cameras actually crashes more frequently than before Also the notification selection cannot be be saved thus is no longer working I know it is not easy to improve app quality especially when there is pressure to add new feature So I will keep on observing Still crashing no notifications
The latest version is NOT compatible with my 3GS I get an error message that the camera in my 3GS is not compatiblemust be 4 or above Guys get your info straight You could have saved me a lot of time Not compatible with 3GS

i was trying it with my iPad and iPhone but it didnt workor maybe Im doing something wrong still dont get how to connect
love the motion sensor but cant use back camera on iPad also not much tutorial on how to share I hope update soon great potential
Must say that Perch solves a lot of Adhoc communication problems No more problems of checking microphone on Skype or buying expensive hardware Great potential and hope to see offline messaging feature too Great for offshore startups
