Petcube: Pet Lovers’ Community With Tons of Cute Cats & Dogs Photos

Why would you put a share to public button covering my dog Fix it or petcube it worthless     I dont want to SHARE TO PUBLIC

Sometimes I find an app that makes me wonder why sodone hasnt done this before As many times as Ive tried to share pictures of my beloved pets with friends and family this app takes it further with a community of pet lovers                 Great Idea

This application is perfect for the animal lovers and people who miss the pets left at home during the traveling or working day                 The best app I have ever tried

I got the app to see if I wanted to get the product but calls to pets hang or never even connect The few times they do connect the video is glitchy or so low res that its pointless     Non functional

Havent tried such an application beforeadore animals so have both cat and a dogthey are friends and when I have to go on w trip I can be with them thanks to this creation                 Interesting idea

Recently installed the Petcube and have one major concern The speaker is not putting out any sound but the microphone is picking up sound On page 4 of the User Guide under 4 Volume Control it says adjust the volume level under Petcube Camera Sound Volume but this does not exist on the newest version of the app I spoke with a support rep and they were unable to help An updatepatch would be really helpful Otherwise app works well and cube is cool just no sound adjust the volume level under Petcube Camera Sound Volume           No sound control on the app

The voicesound quality is very poor Sometimes inaudible and hard to understand my dog gets even scared hearing it The video is quite blur and the laser doesnt really do anything to my dog He just ignored the laser and not even interested in playing with it How its made is very sophisticated although they could have done a better job at least putting a plastic protector in the screen when the packed it The 200 bucks i think is very expensive for the quality of the product has to offer        Lots of issues

I LOVE posting pics of my dog cat and even my rooster but what this app needs is video Then I will give it 5 stars              Love it

We travel quite a bit and its nice to see our pet when were gone Its also cool to talk with my friend on Pet Cube who takes care of our cat                 Love it

I had to return my Petcube camera as the video and audio quality was so bad After finally being able to contact the company in the Ukraine which does not even have a telephone number they kept telling me my internet must be too slow or the Petcube device was placed too far away from my home router Not only do I have 53mbps internet I am able to FaceTime and stream Netflix on my MacBook Pro flawlessly I contacted my internet provider and they performed tests and said it was working above 50mbps Placing the Petcube side by side the router did nothing however when connecting another brand HD webcam to my wireless network the quality was 510x better I felt that Petcube kept blaming my equipment when it was theirs that had problems     Nice but needs improvement

If you like sharing pictures and updates of you pets on social media and you are an animal lover Petcube is for you Its like your pets Instagram and has a great community of pet lovers There are endless adorable pics on here The pet camera by Petcube is also pretty amazing I love seeing what my cat is up to while Im at work by watching and playing with him via the interactive camera Very cool product and great app                 My Cats Fav Photo Sharing Site

I agree with the other reviewers I dont like the share to public option that shows up on the view screen when you are watching your pet at home I do like the extended 30 minute share time tho I do share my cats with the public every now and then and like that I can do it for longer then 15 minutes I have trouble with the camera sometimes when it randomly goes off line I wish that would happen less I enjoy playing with my cats from worker with the laser and love to be able to talk to them I think that with some improvements it will be perfect Thanks           Its getting better

The minute I received my Petcube has been drama The first one the cord was to loose and I couldnt even get it set up There is no phone support and their in Lithuania so I had to email for a weeks Finally got a new cube but the button wouldnt work Im using that cord with the old one The sound is horrible screeching distortion like and my cat doesnt like it Now Im about to leave out of the country and the app wont fully display I cant see the call Petcube button so its useless Ridiculous Beyond disappointed Ive been interested in this since it was in fundraising status Waste of money     Nothing but trouble

Its fun But be careful who you invite to view They can look through your screen and turn on the sound themselves IF you leave it logged on              Fun

This is an excellent app that has a way of getting you to open up on a daily basis I do not have petcube myself however was invited to join and have been loving and enjoying seeing and meeting all of the many wonderful pets and their owners It gets 5 stars from me                 Awesome

The goal of this app is to show the live video feed from the PetCube Since the cube only works 10 of the time the app is pretty useless Overall a very disappointing product and app As an early adopter doubly disappointing The cube is definitely not worth what you pay for it     Rarely works

The update has a huge button right in the middle of the view I have for my dog I didnt purchase this so the world could see my dog I have it so I could check on how shes doing while Im gone I also dont want to accidentally press that buttonsome of us enjoy what little privacy we have left     I dont want to Share to Public

I like the idea of socializing with other pet owners and sharing their photos It would be great if it would support iPads as well It does but still it seems to be quite small on my screen              Nice idea

I am an overly protective pet parent I am constantly worried about my dogs when Im away and this has been the answer to all my problems and I no longer have terrible anxiety about leaving my dogs home while Im at work I love getting to talk to them and play with them via the laser pointer its comforting knowing I can check on my dogs no matter where Im at The only thing I would change is add it on a swivel mount so I can turn it my girl always seems to lay right under it no matter where I hide it                 Love this

It makes me want to get one for people to enjoy see my cat play in the water bowl                 I love it

I think this is great on so many levels It is great as a owner of a pet but also as someone who enjoys seeing other peoples animals and occasionally playing with them too                 Great for a Cat or a Dog parent

Biggest issues the laser should be off by default for all users the app focus should be more on owner experience and less on social pixelated on even good connections Suggestion for hardware v 20 please add some kind of illumination for nighttime check ins           Just average

The actual petcube is a great idea Some flaws are the camera is low res and its not actually possible to see where the dot is on your phone aside from a fake dot overlay that is not accurate There is no night vision or anything like that The dot range is somewhat limited compared to a conventional red dot pointer Still my cats enjoy it and Im able to interact with them somewhat while away I just wish the hardware was higher quality and Im sure it will be someday 4 stars for the concept and allowing me to kind of play with my kitties The biggest flaws however are in the app The visual design is nice but its got a whole bunch of stuff I dont care about Feels very bloated I get the social network attempt but theres never anyone on it and more importantly I just dont care about playing with other peoples animals when I know I can play with mine instead Thats why I bought this yet this function is tucked away in a weird spot You might think the front and center petcube icon would launch the petcube controls but nope that launches an option to upload photos Next you might assume the play tab is where you go to play with your pet but nope thats where you go to play with other peoples pets that are never online Third times a charm with the Me profile tab that also has a play with petcube button Anyway looking past the odd interactions and dead social network the laser controls could be so much more robust Why oh why isnt there a set and forget option to automatically control the laser It seems like it would be so simple to implement a randomizer like that The best thing would be an automatic laser that also records a video and later sends it to me so I can see my kitties had a good time while I was away The business model could then incorporate cloud storage as potential income It would be really cool if there was a public API and other people could make these kinds of apps at least The bulk of money must come from hardware sales I imagine so why not encourage development of more apps that depend on it So much potential I hope it reaches it someday           Lots of potential

Fantastic idea but odd the main function of the device is hidden behind social media buttons and tabs Should be easiest to open to the camera Laser should not turn on every time you open the camera Yikes And the quality could be better I could care less about sharing photos with everyone Would be great to control when others you invite can access the camera as well              Love the idea could use some improvements

My original cube was defective and it took a while to get a working cube back to me but it seems like their customer service has been greatly improved The cube was easy to set up and everything seems to be working great The laser takes a little practice to move smoothly but the cats seem to enjoy it              Fixed device arrived works great

Petcube is awesome I can keep an eye on my puppy at anytime while at work I can talk to her play with her using the laser etc Completely worth it                 Buy this

I love this app but a lot of people have been very ugly to me I deleted it There are some improvements that could be made to this appI have some suggestions for the app Ok 1 Make it a petcube law that no bad language is allowed 2 No inappropriate pics should be allowed Thank you           It was ok to begin with but Ive had a lot bully problems with this app

Love my petcube My boyfriend travels a lot for baseball and the petcube enables him to talk to our 8 month old Dalmatian on the road I wish there were more ways to play with a doghe isnt so interested in the laser feature Overall very happy though              Great Needs some updating

Very much hating the new update as the share to public tab completely blocks the view of my pet I see no way to disable this feature and it is extremely annoying I do not ever share with public so having to see this with no option of removing is disappointing Please correct this        Disappointed
