I enjoy this version of the game as it uses all the rules I played with before Graphics are rather primitive but I m just happy to see an English version Nice work Google daifugo for more information and for rules on how to play Daifugo means richest fugo is rich hinmin is poorest and daihinmin is poorest The object of the game is to get rid of your cards before anyone else thereby granting you the title of daifugo or emperor in this version Card Values The lowest value card is 3 and the highest value is 2 with joker as a wild card Succession of value 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2 8 is a very powerful card because if you play an 8 you automatically win the round Basics In the first game everyone starts out as a commoner heimin The commoner with the blue hexagon starts and it is played clockwise You can start with any card but then the next person must play a card that is of higher value So if I play a 3 then the next person must play 4 or higher To play a card you must select it then hit put If you do not have any cards to play or do not want to play any cards then just hit path I think they meant to use the word pass instead The round continues until no one can make any more plays Whoever played the highest value card is then able to begin the next round with the card s of their choice If you begin a round AND have two or three of a kind you can play that two or three of a kind at the beginning of a round If a two or three of a kind is played then all following plays must also equal a two or three of a kind ie If a pair of 3s are played then a pair of 4s or higher must also be played You cannot throw in a two or three of a kind in the middle of a round the round must begin that way If someone plays four of a kind then it is called revolution kakumei and all of the cards values become the opposite with joker still wild ie 3 becomes the highest value card and 2 the lowest If someone begins the round with a suit and the second player plays the same suit then that suit must be played for the rest of the round This is one of the alternative rules and I can t remember if this version uses it Important You cannot end a round with 2 and I believe joker Whoever gets rid of their cards first is the emperor second is the king third is the knight and fourth is poor This is an important distinction for the following games Before the next game begins the top rank will trade two cards with the lowest rank and the the middle ranks will trade one card between each other The emperor can trade any two cards with the poor but the poor must trade their two highest cards to the emperor The king can trade any one card to the knight but the knight must trade their one highest card to the king And this is how the game is played Please google it for more information but I hope my explanation helps I apologize for anything I ve missed There are also many variations on the game so I hope I ve included all the main points for this version                 Nice simple version Fadestory
