Phone Tree Navigator - Direct Line

Who wouldnt spend a dollar to turbo right past all automated bull when calling customer service No waiting to listen to menus no pressing extra numbers puts you right through to a live person Has a great library of numbers as well Highly recommended Hopefully you wont need to use it much but when needed youll be thrilled to have it                 Where has this been all my life

I recently had to call my credit card company to dispute a charge because I was double charged for my iPhone ironicly enough I call the 1800 number and at the first prompt to enter my card number I remembered I had this app I used it and it worked perfectly definitly saved me 3min worth of entering information that they still make you give when you get to a real person anyway I was put on hold and naturally they hung up on me I used the app again to redial and my time spent on the phone was easily halfed by diretly dialing a human Kudos Hive Brain team                 does what it says it does

Although a great app please expand it to run an iTouch too Just because we dont have the phone component doesnt mean we cant use the valuable data                 iTouch too

This app works great and is very handy One number wasnt working so I emailed the developer In about an hour he got back to me and fixed it The database can be updated without App Store updates Im satisfied with the app and impressed by the quick and helpful customer service                 Handy and Fast Support

Admittedly Im a tech freak but also as a human I have come to resent the need to call for helpservice from these large or small companies Direct Line is truly a dazzling marvel for this much needed utility It works And its implementation on my iPhone priceless Thank you Thank you Thank you                 Pet Peeve Getting a human on the line

It seems to work but its weird that it installed as CSVSearch I have removed and restored it and it keeps the same name My other iPhone apps are displaying their names correctly I tried using it to find the number for a Blue Cross provider but it wasnt listed        It installed on my iPhone as CSVSearch

A competing product Dial Zero offers the primary phone number for the company youre wanting to reach Then directions are provided describing what numbers to push that will allow you to get to a real person Reviews and comments are also provided for each companynumber so you can learn from peoples first hand experience The drawback with Dial Zero is that you need to do the dialing on your own It seems that Direct Line is a database of preprogrammed phone numbers which includes pauses commas and the menu choices to reach a real person However for many companies like Dell for example you need to talk to the person or specialist in the department you need So Im not sure how the system would deal with that As soon as a company changes its menu system then Direct Line would stop working unless it were updated You might try the free product Dial Zero first If theres a company you dial often you could simply program in the menu choices on your own iPhone           Dial Zero is a Better Choice

Great idea Unfortunately the phone data base is extremely limited and not worth the     Very disappointing

It has a pretty lengthy list of companies I suspect those that the author has needed in his life but its by no means comprehensive For example I wanted to contact UPS FedEx USPS to compare rates but only UPS was listed Id give it 5 stars if it had a longer list of companies with filtering options 4 star as it stands today cuz 23 calls using this and it pays for itself              Great appif it lists the company you need
