If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download phonetic(IPA) for free from Apple Store. The application is supporting different languages: English, Chinese. It weighs in at only 2.6 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. I have been teaching ipa to opera singers for 30 years and bought this as a possible help to them It is not only useless but some of the phonetics are pronounced incorrectly I would have rather thrown my money in the garbage Terrible

Seems like the Chinese and Japanese sections are ok but the western section is terrible Western pronunciations are bad
The Japanese from what I can tell is mostly right I dont know Chinese So I cant judge But I dont need it I wanted the English for my Linguistics class The English section is poorly recorded barely audible and isnt even right half of the time Mostly useless
