Photospector

Photospector is probably the best serious photo app out there If you want to do real photo work and dont care about the Instagram cute filter fad this is what you want It is the closest you can get to Lightroom on the iPad Im really looking forward to LR integration That way youll be able to just take your iPad on the field edit and tag your photos there and then upload everything to your main LR library Seeing what Ive seen from these guys I know that if someone can pull that off its them                 Best serious photo app

Wow the slide bars have real time effects Tagging photos and adding folders is really helpful Super fast rendering capability Thank you for making this app                 Renders Fast

This is a great start to what could be the closest thing to having Lightroom on an iPad For now the adjustments are basic and not as deep as what photoforge or photogene offer Before this can become a go to app it must offer curves and levels adjustment options as well as sharpening and denoise Eventually adding a spot healing tool would make this the best app out there What I do like is the deep zoom and ability to copypaste edits the drawback is that at this point I cannot fully edit an image without leaving this app as all images need a bit of sharpening and color grading is much simpler using RGB curves like what is offered in photoforge2 Keep up the great work and Im looking forward to future improvements to what could be the best iOS image editor out there              Good start

admittedly i still have to play around more with this app its not intuitive to use but the features are impressive the editing function which allows you to compare photos is totally worth the inapp purchase and the deep pixel inspection is dazzling seriously theres nothing out there that compares to this not even photoshop yes there are some kinks but its a new app so hopefully it will be further developed                 cool app

Hi I am a big fan of Dan Wexler and buy his apps promptly This one has a lot of promise but needs work I was hoping to use this to tag all good pix on my photostream quickly but the browsing is choppy on the iPad air If someone doesnt have a computer with iPhoto Aperture or lightroom it maybe okay but I will continue with them for now           Needs work

October 14 2013 TIFF bug is fixed Changing my rating from 2 stars to 3 Seems well executed but there are performance issues when browsing through images on my iPad 3 with iOS 702 The developers are top notch as well as responsive This is an app to watch Could be a game changer October 3 2013 Promising app that seems to work fine with JPG I usually work with TIFF and this crashes every time           Getting Better

So the thing I like about the app is the controls The feedback is ideal for quick edits and fixes to my family pics i take with my ipad That is what i have been using it for The interesting thing that happened is my 4 year old too interest in the tool and started to play with it So guys please make it a little harder next time Good work                 11ers do it again

Sorry to be the party pooper here I find that this app is very difficult to use and the functions are limited The controls are only the basic functions and there are not more advance features like a selecti e adjust blur and many other useful enhancements it could benefit from Also there are no instructions that I could find in the app so if you do not understand what everything means it just looks like a whole bunch of colorful bars and for some people that would be difficult to figure out what its specific function is Another thing I think they should add is a simple undo button Its really annoying when you have a perfect picture and you accidentally click something that ruins it and you cant figure out how to fix it Sorry I think there are better apps out there        I dont like it

Just downloaded the app so I am not an expert two observations 1 does not seen to work with raw format images 2 crashes when you try to purchase the inapp add ons Needs to mature a little bit more           Photospector

The app has a beautiful professional looking interface and allows basic editing functionswith a sophisticated finese The sliders and the histagram are great features Sadly there are more than a few stumbles First the app does not appear to allow direct access to the iPads Events folders albums those folders created by the Camera Connection Kit Which I find especially puzzeling because the developer even talks about the importance of using the CCK instead of iTunes to get hires images onto the device You can reach the images via the All Imported album but if you have a lot of files that could take forever to find the right ones Altough the app loads hires images it loads them at a snails pace taking over 30 seconds to load a 12mp image I almost fell asleep watching the progress bar creep across the screen Even more problematic the app crashes trying to save a 121mp image making it functionally useless for tweaking hires images This app while flashy on the surface is in need of a serious makeover under the hood        Professionallooking interface slow loads and prone to crashes

Looks good seems good but its worthless to me without the multiple editor I need to be able to put those keywords in           Wont let me buy the multiple editor
