PhotoUpLink for iPhone and iPod Touch enables FTP and social photo sharing over WiFi. The FTP feature lets you send photos to any FTP site and generates an email for you containing links to the ...
This almost looks like an app with virus Just gets your server name and password then crashes     What a joke
This is a great utility I was able to grab pictures from iPhoto on my home computer office computer even a friends computer onto my iPhone all without needing a cable or dealing with the various problems inherent in syncing The transfer time was quite fast also                 Very cool tool
The app has the right idea but this app needs a lot of work A LOT cant even upload photos it freezes and only has a twitter option     The idea is right But def not there
On my 1st gen iPhone I was able to share pics with friends a my local watering hole pretty cool And the FTP function creates much nicer pngs versus jpgs I can actually see details in my photos for a change Yes bigger files mean longer uploads And its also nice to have the FTP URLs created for easy access in my email client Really looking forward to other options in the future                 Works great for me
Hello I dont know about you but when I ftp into my site I am not looking to dump photos into my root dir I have an img dir This app doesnt let me change dir not does it tell me the name of the uploaded file nor does it confirm in any way that the file was uploaded     Unfinished and useless
I have tried it in ftp mode I think the previous persons problem is they dont realize that the email program scales and reduces the quality of the photo making it smaller and grainy This program sends the RAW 28 meg files so it does take longer than email but I have an exact copy of it              backup all my files
Appalled at how terrible this app is I tried to upload 80 some photos off my phone because iPhoto wasnt importing them correctly The application quit after one or two images and didnt remember where to pick up once it restarted Every screen seems to have an advertisement at the top I would not recommend this application until I get a refund and can try out a more stable version     Banner Ads Crashes
Tried this this AM I have already removed it from my touch Your mileage may vary but you might want to wait for a later version     Needs work
Its the most frustrating thing in the world when you enter a long FTP the As you upload it crashes you go back and have to enter it all again Also I entered the server of the FTP then the user and password while waiting to figure out the dir for my photos When I went back to add the dir it clears the box Why There is an x if I want to clear it Leave it alone     Does not work and does not save anything
Cant try FTP without buying paid version     o
Its ok Pretty cool              Not bad
Otherwise its still great for free but Id pay at least 99 cents just for that bump it up to a 5 star rating           Needs intergration with Contacts but
Not a lot of options but was certainly worth the price of Free99 I use it to batch upload pictures to my own personal FTP account Now that iOS4 has support for data transfer after closing an app Id love to see that builtin as uploading the 3MB pictures that the iPhone4 now shoots can take a while itd be nice if it could resize the pictures before uploading as well to something that would transfer a little faster Another request would be to mark which photos are selected to be uploaded              Worked for me on iPhone4
the app crashes every time i tyr to upload a file           big problem
Crash crash crash     Dont waste your time
After pressing upload the app freezes disappears and nothing was uploaded     It does not work
Once I finally got the correct FTP settings to take it took almost 10 minutes just to upload one photo I could have emailed 5 photos to myself in the time it took to upload 1 pic Not worth installing     Not Even Ok
Crashed first time I tried to FTP Second time it didnt crash but it also didnt send any photos No confirmation of success or explanation of error nothing Wont even save typed FTP server info Complete waste     Unfinished broken
Crap     Crap
