Navigation is frustrating No longer works     Needs a favorites button Ios8 doesnt work No longer works

This app works on iPad but not on iPhone 6 for me I only get error codes when connecting to receiver even after it recognizes it by using IP address to identify     Error codes even after recognizing the receiver

I have XCHM82 network player and Galaxy Note 4 iPhone6 and iPhone5s Note4 works perfectly as if it is factory setup app player as well as iPhone5s However iPhone6 got stuck on C5110 error all time and cannot find the Pioneer equipment Same wireless network environment within same AP I marked 2 stars in case of my iPhone6 went wrong If not it will deserve 1 star        C5110 error all time with iPhone6 Why

Works great with vsx823 Not sure about adding other functionality Update No longer working No changes to network restarted receiver and reinstall app No change Error C2102 There is no decent info on pioneers website to trouble shoot anything Pretty useless     So far so good Never mind

I upgraded Now Pandora is gone They had better fix this     DO NOT UPGRADE Pandora disappears

With iOS 81 after uninstalling and reinstalling the app it now works as well as it did before the iOS update Happy again Raised by 3 stars Still not perfect due to the weird Spotify integration Pandora is awesome though Better than the app on the phone Original Wont actually open shows splash screen then closes              UPDATED Crashing on iOS 8 on iPhone 6

I am using this with the VSX1022 Having an iOS app was one of the big reasons I wanted to get this receiver The app does not have nearly as many features as the standard physical remote control that comes with receiver but I still appreciate that I can control of the receiver volume and change sources with the app It would be really nice to be able to select speakers turning A and B zones on and off There is no BASSTREBLE control or TV control not even power There is also no indication which setting are engaged for AUTODIRECT ALCSTANDARD or ADV SURROUND These features would make it a worthy substitute for the physical remote control instead you will probably use it when the standard remote is missing or needs batteries Kudos to the developers for putting out an iOS 8 update I was afraid like many of these apps it would become obsolete with new iOS versions An alternative would be to allow the newer Pioneer remote control apps to work with receivers like the VSX1022 Thanks for reading this I hope the developers read these I want to love this but it just needs a little more to be great           Excellent concept needs more features to be great

Did Pioneer simply forget about the Elite VSX52 models or what Not one app for this version is available I have refused to upgrade to iOS 8 because the extension within the app itself will constantly crash because in its code it does not see my AV Please fix it Pioneer I dont have thousands to spend constantly for new receivers like many     VSX52

Got the new iphone 6 with iOS 8 and pioneer did a good job on working on the incompatible issues and update came quick thank YOU              Good iOS update fix

Is there a way to change the HDMI Thru function with this app for the VSX43           HDMI thru

The app is great when it works but it consistently disconnects from my receiver vsx823k and gives error code 7113        Doesnt work most of the time

Since pioneer makes it nearly impossible to tell them any other way Im forced to be that guy and leave a crappy one star review in hopes they will see this and fix their app I just downloaded the iOS 8 updated version of the app to my iPhone 6 and the app now will not launch it crashes almost immediately Ill watch for another update and adjust my review when its fixed Of course providing a better way to contact them about these issues would also be welcome Love my wifi speaker by the way And when the app works its quite useful     App crashes

Ive thumb down a type of Latin music in a mostly Persian radio and it kept playing it right after I reached my max allowed skips and still played Latin     Pandora fail

I cant tell you how disappointed I am with a company such as Pioneer Ive bought their products since my first car at age 16 The products have always been first class I cant believe they have put their name on this app Its absolutely horrible it will not find your receiver at times When it does find it it fails to connect Not once have I been able to use it If your buying any product hoping to use this app look elsewhere     If I could give NO STARS I would

The newest update may have fixed one bug but it gave it another I can not get to pandora now It gives me a big exclamation point and says app is not compatible The AV has pandora on it and it was working fine before latest update Please fix     Newest update

Have to manually enter the IP address then get error This device is noncontrollable Error Code C6114 although it recognizes the receiver model friendly name and port No problem controlling the same receiver from the iPad icontrol app     Useless for Pioneer Elite SC79 from iPhone

I am continuously getting this error when trying to connect to my vsx822 receiver Unplugging and plugging in the unit fixes the error temporarily Way too much hassle for something that should be simple     C5110 Fail

I had to delete the app and reinstall for it to work The app is still super weak and lacking any creative thought Pioneer really dropped the ball on this app Sonos is by far the best but I didnt want to throw this speaker out The only thing I use the app for is a remote volume control and sometimes pandora You can use AirPlay to play any music app but then you lose volume functions        Crashing since update

Pioneer seems to stopped supporting the iControlApp which was simple and easy to use and tried to add so much bling that new iControlAV5 is almost unusable THis was a good App but the newer receivers are no longer supported and that is a shame           Was good but new models are not supported

Most reviews say this app is great when it works but Im still waiting on that to happen My Yamaha Aventage receiver is on the same network and its app works flawlessly Pioneer receiver and app NEVER work No support from Pioneer I have a 1600 receiver without one of the key features I wanted Awesome     Worst app Ive ever used
