Have worked with this app for a few months now after my music teacher recommended it and it has been very helpful to my daily practice routine Am a singersongwriter who plays guitar and this app works so well and is so stable that Ive even used it to help other musicians tune their instruments tuned 5 guitars the other day with no problem 3 acoustic and 2 electric Highly recommended                 Excellent tuning app

This app was working amazingly up untill the g stringI had every string in tune and started on the g string I must have been doing something wrong but all I know is the g string snapped So as long as you take an easy and dont have any background noise I would absolutely suggest buying this app              The G String

I practice playing a Bb trumpet using this tuner a spectrum analyzer metronome and audio recorder Studying my sound in the frequency and time domains helps improve my playing This tuner accommodates transposing instruments For that reason alone I prefer it over some standalone tuners that are fixed in the key of C This tuner drains the battery At my level of elementary playing I need the tuner for some length of time long tones lip slurs and so on Efficient power consumption would be welcome but not at the expense of functionality The term sensitivity would better than sensitiveness in the settings menu Allowing users to upload their own wallpaper would be attractive because personalizing your tool encourages you to use it and show it off Thanks for a nice product              my favorite tuner

I recommend this app for a variety of reasons It really works Easy to use and accurate I use it to not only to tune the cello but also to check on the accuracy of my scales Even checked the accuracy of the notes on a grandfather clock Also great feedback from the developer when I had a question                 Great App

I am a low brass player euphonium and baritone bugle I got this app because I was having trouble placing the higher octave notes So I use it to ensure that the correct note is being played It also transposable so I can shift it from C for my euphonium into the key of G for my baritone bugle Works great for tuning individual valve slides MOST EXCELLANT all around                 Exactly what I needed

Im a professional oboist and we are in charge of tuning the orchestra Ive purchased many Korg tuners digital needles strobes and this is by far the easiest and least complicated to use I seriously only need to play an A 440 or 441 depending on the group so I love that the calibration is simple on the home screen My favorite part though is that this LOOKS like a real tuner Musicians behind me can see the needle and calibration for themselves while not thinking shes using her iPhone to tune is It looks professional and does its job well Im beyond please with this app                 Best Tuner App ever

Ive been hacking away at some guitar or the other since childhood but 90 of the time I never had a proper tuner I am a total amateur but I know a lot of musicians who are actually good and make a living at and they have all been impressed by this app and its replication of a hardware pedal which is a lot more money than this here application Several hundred percent more If you are a player who has a basic knowledge of tuning sharps versus flats the concept of steps etc and doesnt need their hand held this will be easy to pick up and far superior to its lame cousins who do nothing but generate a tone to emulate And these are things that a guitar player of any level should master as a part of their learning being in tune is important chromatic tuners are a pretty ubiquitous item and this app is sophisticated and a bargain and has never crashed on me and if you have any need of such a tuner then look no further Tip use it to work out what youre playingwriting as you play slower but its accurate a great aid to guitar players This is definitely by far the longest review of any app Ive written because I wasted money and time looking through the App Store before finding this little gem Get it                 Best iOS tunergreat valueI never write reviews Except right now

I am a professional symphony musician and play double bass I was looking for a tuner that had the red and green dummy lights for when its noisy when Im tuning could calibrate the A to frequencies other than 440 if necessary showed current frequency information and had alternate tunings if necessary This tuner met all of my requirements and is very sensitive to frequencies down to a double bass low E 41hz and more Very happy with my purchase                 Perfect for My Needs

This will use your mic and do a fine job with that but there is no pitch pipe function as most of us would expect It simply plays the 440 reference tone If you expect a pitch tone generator for notes corresponding to tuning notes this doesnt have that It probably isnt a 3 app yet in terms of design features No landscape rotation either           Not a pitch pipe

for almost 30 yrs Ive been playing some kind of instrument that requires tuning drums too being mainly a guitar player a drummer Ive never seen the reason for a tuner since I can reference pitch from memory of songs etc its not perfect pitch but maybe a slow version of p pitch that might be a few KHz off I downloaded the free version of this app and when I had some App Store credit left over I grabbed the upgrade since the free v was outstanding GREAT APP                 PERFECT Ive never used a tuner
