Includes the King James translation of God s holy word plus Strong s concordance Easy switch allows turning Strong s on off Has advanced searching Has good options for font size and such I also installed Matthew Henry s Complete Commentary which is easy to access once it s installed I highly recommend this app                     My favorite Bible app but needs work Randall King

I have used this app for years It is my favorite Bible app I love the drop down method to find a reference much easier than e swords Recently though my iPhone alerts me when I open PocketSword that it needs to be updated and that it may no longer work when I update my iPhone and to please contact the developers and ask them to update That is not word for word but that s the gist of it I don t want to lose this app please consider updating                     Please update TracyinOhio

UPDATE I need help getting my years of bookmarks into my new phone and I haven t found developer contact info They have always come in with a restore until this 7 plus upgrade Please post some help or contact me if possible When I want to bookmark a verse I use THIS APP because it allows users to make and name color coded folders When a bookmarked verse is stored in a COLORED folder the text of that verse is always displayed in that color when reading any version of the Bible You can also bookmark verses without assigning them to a specific folder What makes this bookmark system so very helpful for me is that every time I bookmark a verse I can make a personal note which for me is the reason or specific value if this verse to me When I first bought my iPad mini I loaded it with lots of Bible apps I now have eliminated all but 3 which are Pocket Sword for bookmarking eSword because it s the best of the best for study and Holy Bible by YouVersion because it offers the best SPEAKER option When you download versions with the speaker icon you can have any part of the Bible read out loud setback and relax and listen listen while driving or listen to a pleasant voice read passages at your bible study Many people do not enjoy reading aloud so this is a perfect solution to that All three APPS I use allow me to download everything I want to use so it is always available OFFLINE                     Great BOOKMARKING System AskLifeCoach

This app is good if you need it for some languages The app that works the best for me and has recourses and videos that help with your personal study and with the family is JW org They have there own website and app and I highly recommend the JW org app         Looking Huffs object

I like everything about this app First choice all day The only thing is I used to be able to search which is one of the big parts of the app for me But as of a few months now or so I can t search When it asks to download the search module and I accept it just freezes up and closes                     Great app Spirit>Flesh
