A friend recommended the pomodoro method said she thought there was probably an app for that This app was my first pick based on reviews Im converted Love it Its really helping me push through my degree I thought about giving it 4 stars because you cant make little notes in it or title things or aggregate info blah blah blah Then I thought screw that Bells and whistles just give me an excuse to procrastinate Down with vain useless customization that makes us think we are important Just tap the fn timer and get to work on stuff that matters That said you can choose a tone times and a couple other practical things Btw Writing reviews procrastination Enjoy your tomato                 My grad school buddy

Works perfectly I run it in the straight through mode Keeps running and keeps me disciplined I like the cute summary screen at the bottom tracks my accomplishments Simple Easy to use                 Simple Just what I need

Everything would work exactly how I would like it to if the alarms would go off when the phone is locked This is a really annoying bug        Annoyed

if you suffer from procrastination this can be a good tool to get you started on what you procrastinate on Built in breaks are something to look forward to in the long slog to the end Try to do something fun during your breaks like practice your banjo              Not amazing but pretty close

The prettiest interface the nicest ticking sound nonstartling alarms Its an intentionally simple app so no fancy tracking graphs or switching the set plan midway Ie you cant change the goal number of pomodoros halfway through the day without losing your completed ones However I kind of like it that way No wasting time playing with graphs no revising the number of pomodoros for your day once youve begun It forces you to stick to your goal                 Best Pomodoro app Ive tried

I rarely write reviews this may be my second one in 4 years but when I run across a lifechanging app I feel compelled Pomodoro is one of those apps Face it I can do exactly what the app does using the timer on my phone but this app has a way of making me more apt to actually stick the the timetable than if I were manually setting the timer And I must admit earning the tomatoes is kind of fun Sort of like when I was in Kindergarten and earned stars on my notebook I love this app It is revolutionizing the way I work                 Perfection

You cant list the tasks that you are trying to get done and that is so irritating I think that is something that NEEDS to be added Since I have adhd I have a hard time remembering the tasks I need to do and it was so disappointing that I couldnt list the tasks I needed to get done           No place to list tasks

I love this app and use it very often to study However still needs some improvements For instance 1 having a ring after EVERY break to know the time is up instead of having to check the app 2 having the timer on the top in a bar or something when using other applications as someone else had mentioned 3 having the app actually ring and not ding when using other apps This would be especially useful when using music apps if pomodoro could stop the music and ring it would be even better           Love but needs improvement

Not normally a reviewer but it harassed me today for a review and then proceeded to not work correctly so here goes If your screen is off or the phone is locked it will tick away forever and never sound an alarm The app is supposed to do one thing set a timer and then make a noise when the timer is finished Its really good at ticking not so good at stopping ticking     It doesnt work as a timer

Helpful to stay on task but dang this uses battery May go back to just using regular timer due to that alone        Good but not great

This productivity app helps me stay focused throughout the day It has near zero learning curve and the available configuration settings are useful without being overly complicated As a result I feel that it accomplishes its intended goal which is to increase productivity                 Simple to use

I love this app Functionally its not so different from what the timer can do but I love it because it 1 reminds me to take breaks then 2 keeps going so I dont have to use my willpower to stay on track and keep reprogramming study periods like I do with my timer As other users note it would be even more helpful to have the capability for sound when the iPadiPhones ringer is off But in any case this is a super helpful productivity tool                 Simple SUPERhelpful app

The tick of this sounds like a clock not a tomato timer I prefer the other desktop app Ive used with a tick that sounds more realistic The UI is pretty Just kind of key that the tick is not annoying        Tick tock
