As a pose app for drawing this app has some wonderful things going on The ability to scrub between poses is very cool The lighting and camera work well Having multiple materials is a great addition as is having a floor with drop shadow I really like the planar model for the male And posing is dead easy to do and yields cool results There are some refinements that could make this app even more useful First is the model I really like the planar model as a tool but this model has a few oddities The pelvis on the male is to deep and the chest is to shallow The thighs have an odd pinch in the middle and the knees are too chunky A center line groove would be helpful to see twisting in the torso I like that the chest has deformations but it also needs to allow the shoulders to raise when lifting the arms above the horizontal Besides the model the interface needs simplifying and shrinking for larger devices like the iPad Pro There needs to be a way to save an image to the camera roll or the Files app And of course it needs to work in slide over on iOS 11 in order to draw in other apps while looking at the pose I would personally get rid of the static models as I don t think they add much to the app and just take up space All these criticisms are not to take away from the app itself which is quite excellent and easily worth supporting for future development                     Great potential kylekane
Need to have this in landscape mode so i can splitscreen while drawing PLEASE                 Looks Good but needs landscqpe mode please miroman86
You have a beautiful product Now it s time to put more than one character on the stage This will keep you over the competition Other people have already put into play This application is top in it s class Please don t fall behind Stay on top with two people on stage now Again hands down the best app for posing                     Exciting Alexandra0397
The non posing parts of the interface could still use a bit more polish but this is a fine virtual mannequin app quicker and easier to use than most Great for the artist working on the go i look forward to future updates                     Very useful SRinSF
After looking at other apps with poseable figures for drawing and purchasing a few of them this one has the best most natural interface and the most thorough options Very well done                     The search is over Hippocrene
I had to write a review to support future development of this app Even in it s early stages this is hands down the best posing tool I ve found in the app store I like that the models are simple and focus on form and planes rather than anatomy I love that the models are akin to a much more functional and articulate artist s mannequin The animation features and the animations between poses look great and really add to the polish and potential uses of this app It feels very professional and slick well done I do hope the developer refines and expands the existing features rather than focusing on anatomy I know people want this feature but it s really not that helpful to an artist and I get the feeling that many beginners don t understand that an application like this is useful for a constructive drawing approach to imaginative drawing not as a reference for anatomical study or figure drawing Muscle anatomy breaks when you pose a 3d anatomy model This is why basic sculping is done in a T pose and is refined and readjusted after the model is posed A poseable 3d model with anatomical detail is just a bad way to learn acurate anatomy Any trained artist or school of art will strongly advise you to learn anatomy though study of the parts and to do your figure drawings from life or from photos never from a 3D model It won t help you to understand how the muscles work together to create movement and will actually be a setback to you if you re trying to learn human anatomy correctly Gesture and form through the understanding of planes are much more important than anything else An existing anatomical understanding should be used to build on top of that structure Just my two cents I would like to see the app include things like Support for landscape mode A color wheel for both the direct and reflected light sources More materials or the ability to import materials the ability to have the mannequin look like a traditional wooden mannequin would be cool A color wheel for the selected material the background color floor the joints on the model etc Anywhere the ability to select a custom color would make sense in the app it would be nice to have Saving and exporting images from within the app Saving and exporting animations would be great too even if it s just saved as a series of numbered images rather than a video That would be more useful than video anyway considering the intended use of this is a reference tool Sorry for going on at length but I really wanted to express my feelings about this app I rarely leave reviews but the developer is really onto something great here and I wanted to show my support and encourage this app s continued development If you are an artist wondering if it s worth the price tag I d say absolutely even at this early stage Just know that this is not a tool for posing an anatomically detailed model and that s not a drawback it s an advantage over the apps that are A virtual mannequin with great articulation like the one featured in this app is a much more useful tool than an inacurate representation of anatomy in motion and that s what you will inevitably get from any app the lets you twist around an anatomically detailed model like putty                     Great app even in first version KH1986
Definitely impressed with this application The description as well was helpful in telling what I can and can t do So no disappointments there The price is on the higher side But it s definitely justified Works very well and offers a lot of freedom Something that I can t say is seen on iOS when it comes to posing applications Only thing I hope to see is the ability to import custom models or at the very least adding in humanoid models of various ages that are posable As this is my one issue that no posing application has addressed Makehuman will prove useful for this if you developers do this But for its release this is definitely a very impressive application and I can t say they failed in this regard You guys certainly have put a ton of effort into this and it shows straight away Please add posable feet toes etc to future models though and if possible facial expressions as well saw in the video you did touch on this on YouTube All in all definitely a great application for artists as well as people looking to just make poses and such Great work Keep it up and I look forward to the upcoming updates                 Very impressive Grimmycakes
One of the better posing apps available for iOS But still needs some fine tuning What is seriously missing is poseable male female characters with muscular details rather than ball and joint stick like characters In spite of that short coming it is still very useable and better than most 1 0 versions of iOS apps FYI I use it with an iPad Pro                     Almost there Jkmsg
