This has never been a great app but this update is horrific Ad banners and general junk all around the screen make it almost unusable Why does it resize every time I scroll a page And I can t even read the sides except through the navigation tabs And the best part ads I PAY FOR THIS SUBSCRIPTION but not for much longer And why can t I clear the old storage anymore This thing hogs my whole iPad     Terrible update Plus ads Thanks a lot Scmurph

One would think a media based organization could produce a decent app in todays world This one is so bad Hopefully those that care at the P C are reading these reviews and taking them seriously as 99 are not favorable Apparently no one cares     Poor App The Disco Palace

I agree with the others this app is several steps backwards Sometimes it won t even load like today even deleted and redownloaded it The advertising banners are for the birds this is why I pay for an app so I don t have to see those things they clutter the reading space on an iPad Please address this faulty app since I do like the paper s content     Major Disappointment Spartacus1847

Why is there a non removable ad banner at the top I have already paid for the paper and the ads found within Now I am subject to additional ads because I choose to use the electronic version Almost want to completely cancel subscription     Top Ad reduces useful space Jaydeenel

While I don t know how revenue is generated by those ads I know darn well that I am never going to click on one so please help your loyal readers get back to just reading the paper without the space hogging annoying distractions I spend my life on the road and am really sorry I purchased a year s subscription to the e version only a month ago The changes since then have been awful Will not be renewing     Come on P C parents Ad banners Really FAIL kranny1

This is a failed attempt to upgrade the e edition There isn t even a login for existing customers It s the P C s SCANA debacle on a much smaller scale The P C should try to test their software before fielding it     Too bad there aren t a no star option BobonDI

I agree with other users who are frustrated by the ads bar at the top of the page Not user friendly at all Most days yesterday s news appears and will not offer or allow me to obtain the latest most updated copy of the paper until much later in the day I ve deleted the app Re installed several times thinking I must have selected a non member app by mistake unfortunately that s not the case It s just terrible and what we re stuck using     Why does the current and updated version not automatically appear susaninmtp

Although it s nice to have setting options now the overall look and usefulness has been diminished I find it less user friendly and clumsy I m viewing on a iPad and with the additional ads at the top I have less readable space I don t find the overall experience to be improved The old version had flaws be at least it was not difficult to read and was a true e version not a e version with more ads in the header     November 2017 update is less user friendly westashleyreadee

What s up with the ads at the top I m paying for this subscription and you have stupid google advertising in the top banner I liked the old app where I single tapped a story to read it in the right pane In this app there is too much trying to adjust the font size to read the text         Why the ads PirateBobby

I am away several days a week and always read the e edition on my iPad while away Formerly I used the e edition section of the main Post and Courier app but that has a number of flaws that made it difficult to use To mention a couple accidentally tapping an article you are reading which is not infrequent with the iPad takes you to the text version of the article and tapping the continuation page of an article takes you to the page prior to the correct page The dedicated e edition app works perfectly Navigation swiping to the next page and pinching to enlarge or reduce the print size all work very smoothly It is a pleasure reading the paper with this app I still like the main P C app for local stories during the day and getting a head start on the next morning s paper                     Perfect Retired in CHS
