So slow Always tells me I cant use it because its offline Not worth having because it doesnt work     Bad app

Very poor app as no real functionality     Wheres the Features

I love the easiness if the app Ive been using the app for my alarm system and so far so great Beats having to run in and having to disalarm the system manually                 Easy Peasy

Most of the time it says offline I called them and they said I had a weak cell phone signal I told them that wasnt the problem Ill cancel service if they dont get it working contract or not Im paying for a working system     Junk

Worked fine for a few weeks now no comm with the system at all I liked it when it worked easy to ad from anywhere Now nothing Need to fire these developers and hire a real app team for the size company PA is Embarrassment to their company and above all their companyclient good will suffers because of it If it isnt reliable why would the company back it Sure hope the monitors work better than this app or does it     Protect America App

For the first month my security system and this app worked fine Theres a bunch of buttonsfeatures I dont use but it was pretty convenient to armdisarm from the app However over the last few weeks my alarm has been continually going offline As I understand from calling customer service multiple times the alarm is still being monitored by Protect America but the data connection to this app is severed The only way to fix it is to power cycle the Simon XT unit unplug it from the wall and disconnect the battery and wait 30 seconds before reversing these steps Im seriously considering mailing back all this equipment its not worth the hassle and the monthly cost     Would be 0 Stars if I could

This crap was sold to me as a great addition to the alarm Ive had Protect America before and had a keyless entry thing on my keychain to unlocklock the alarm When I signed up with them again this was soooo much better When the app does work its slow and you have to hard shut it down a few times Most of the time it just says offline no matter how many times you hard restart it This app is total garbage Total total garbage Dont let the company fool you on the usefulness of this If they finally update and fix it I will come back and rereview but Im highly doubtful I cant believe they are passing this off as acceptable     Garbage

Granted Ive only had the system for two weeks it seems to work just fine The company so far as been very reliable and accommodating The app has had no issue Could be faster but its straight forward No complaints                 So far so good

It worked for me for less than 24 hours Now it refuses to connect Always says its offline Get your act together Protect America App is useless And the interface leaves a lot to be desired Youd think it was designed in 1997     Wont reliably connect to your alarm system

Ive had this app for a few days and already have issues The app does not communicate with the control panel The apps status is offline more often than not This is very annoying and disappointing An alarm system company should not have issues with its app     App shows offline

Im a new customer who previously used frontpoint This app is pretty much useless and they have the gall to charge for it I wish I knew how bad it was and I probably would have decided not to go with Protect America Essentially all you can do is arm disarm with the app And that doesnt even work right If you arm away from panel the app shows armed stayhuh With frontpoint you can do all arming features as well as see the status of each sensor when it opened closed etc It also had geofence technology to remind you to arm if you drive away and leave system off Frontpoints app wasnot only free to use but it was truly full featured and worked This app is a piece of useless junk Im amazed they cant get a proper app and im kinda regretting signing up for this company Createa proper full function app Its not that hard people     Horrible app

The app on my iPhone 5 doesnt even come up Keeps saying not in service temporarily for the last few months I have a business and I cannot see what my employees are doing This doesnt work for me Customer service hasnt really helped I am really contemplating changing service at this point     App doesnt even come up

The company is not bad but this app is awful and it was one of the reasons we went with Protect America It is always offline and never lets you arm or disarm so it pointless to even have     Worst app ever

Works as designed Only a few instances of not able to log in One issue PA was having issues and cleared up within an hour Other issues were with my master panel This app could use a silent option though Update 112314 App has improved from previous versions and I no longer have issues connecting to my alarm One thing PA can improve on is the ability to integrate with other smart home devices like my NEST 081315 App sometimes wont connect and have to hard close it out I get offline once in awhile Updates need to keep coming and it would be nice to have a silent on exit option              Works good

Finally desisted to use this app Not reliable I just deleted and will never use it again It does deserve a single star     Not reliable

The app has been work flawlessly since I signed up in October 14 This week false alarm triggers on the app but not the panel Seems to be fixed now butthe video quality has went to crap Live or recorded Looks great on a computer but who has that in their pocket Cant even make out my own face let alone a intruder Please fix soon           What happened

I cant believe how horrible this app is I wish I would have read the reviews before I invested The alarm system itself isnt horrible its actually pretty convenient but this app is the devil It will lose connection with my system more often than not making it impossible to set or disarm my alarm once Ive left my house which is the purpose of this app Additionally there hasnt been an update to this app since I first got it over a year ago I absolutely hate it and I would highly recommend you sift trough the other reviews before you decide to invest with a contract to Protect America     I Pay For This

Your whole home security system does not work if this app says offline it means your whole home security does not connect to protect america server So call protect america is a must to get your system working again     Be careful with protectamerica server

I have to agree with other reviews As a customer for several years this app consistently fails with offline messages PA suggests uninstalling and reinstalling the app every couple weeks Really and unresponsive to arming and disarming through app Sometimes it takes 5 minutes of standing there staring at my phone to make sure the alarm is on Surely they can do better for the premium price of a monitored alarm     Agree

This application looks like it has never been updated User interface looks cheap and old Functionality wise everything seems pretty straight forward icons for security cameras home automation etc The arm and disarm is not as reliable as I would like App fails to disarm at times Not too happy Please bring this thing into the 21st century     Needs major overhaul

Dont do ios83 update on iphone if you want sound notifications on this app sound ability will be gone PA developers dont have a clue how to get it back either This app has not had an update to fix the many problems in 13 months Total garbage no sound when something posts makes app worthless     No updates

If you use this app to arm your system in stay mode it will arm in away mode App and Protect America in general are horrible Stay away     Faslely reports mode

App was offline for a day PA told me it was due to Sprint having an issue Said something in the main control panel uses something in the Sprint network Tonight its back online so well see           Not sure yet

Downloaded the latest app today It looks and works great The zwave devices respond right away All the commands work every time                 Great App huge step up

Almost the worst app ever My app goes offline as least once every two weeks The issue can only be fixed when youre in front of the panel which is frustrating to me because most of the time my app will go offline when Im at work or not at home Ive been told that it should be expected to go offline at the frequency that it does which doesnt make a lot of sense Unlike other security systems youre not able to see notifications including if windows or doors are opened when the alarm is both armed or disarmed It also doesnt have a panic button or way to alert police or any other emergency agency in the event that youre not in a position to speak or call 911 directly from your phone If I didnt have so much time left on my contract I would cancel and seek out another security system provider        Too many issues and not enough functions

If youre looking for a security system which you can control through a phone app Dont go with Protect America As simple as that     App doesnt work at all

Its been flawless since activated Running about a month with 0 issues Arm disarm and live video on iPhone 6 Sends push notifications with user ID whenever system is armed or disarmed Never a problem I set different pin codes in the system for each person and I know who comes and goes and when Reserving 5 star due to relatively short time in use              Works for Me

My one wish is that I could somehow manifest this app into a physical object and beat the s out of it for being so useless I like an idiot turned down the free keychain alarm arming thing they offered because they told me how convenient this craptastic app was This app is so bad there should be a cancer warning on it I hope the guy who talked me into this loses the ability to read right after reading this review I also hope his kids dont love him and their family pet runs away     My dog has pooped more useful things

So Ive only had my system up and running for a couple days now and the App is already showing glitches For hours now it shows offline therefore I cant tell what the status of my system is and I am not receiving notifications when it is armed or disarmed The whole reason I went with this system was so my wife and I could keep track of the safety of my son when he is home alone after school and before we get off work If we are not able to do that then half of the reason we signed up for this is useless The other thing I hate about the App is it has an extremely annoying pop up on every screen you go to asking you if you want to live chat If I want to chat Ill push the chat icon on the main page of the App I dont need a pop up obscuring every screen to include my viewing of my live camera feed I began a log of App outages to keep track of how often and for how long this function is inoperable Bottom line if this App doesnt work as advertised I will kick protect America to the curb and have no problem hiring a lawyer to fight to get my money back for purchased equipment and get out of the contract Get your crap together Protect America The safety of our families is at stake William Rucker     Not looking good

This app has not worked in over a year I can neither arm nor disarm from the app since which was one of the reasons I chose utilize this security companyhow do I fix this Or just Please fix     Need an update for ios8

I left ADT because using a router as my connection was way more expensive than Protect America And I loved the idea of the mobile app Now the app barely works And youre telling me I have to unscrew and get inside my panel in order to troubleshoot Ridiculous I guess its true that you get what you pay for           Disappointed and frustrated

I just went through the long process of getting my account set up and then power cycling the panel to enable this App and it does not work not once yet Calling support is no help because they just want you to power cycle the panel which I have 3 times now The App occasionally reports that the panel is ready but any attempt to arm or disarm the system fails I dont understand how a security company can have crap communication with their device Confidence in this whole system is low     Does Not Work

Protect Americas app is so easy to use We love it We didnt expect such a useful app since it was a bonus Make sure you take the time to add the app Their custom service department had us connected in no time so call them if you stumble with the online account like we did I would compare this app to any of the more expensive services              Love it

I see a lot of people complain of this app While I agree this version is horrible I downloaded alarmcom that is the main provider for the remote service runs much better     Poor Application

This app is a brand new revision just released today The person who reviewed it was reviewing the old version which had lots off issues This new app does allow one to see the status of all zones Give it a chance The online offline status is still buggy though Hey at least PA is making an effort Time will tell so I will with hold an honest review until I use it for a bit           New Version

I have recently bought Protect Americas alarm system camera and zwave devices This new version app compliments my new devices The response is great and I recommend PA to everyone                 Retail Electronics

Goes offline more times than not Its a waste of time should never have even been written Had I known this I wouldve stayed with my old system Unfortunately I just signed up a month ago biggest mistake Techsupport had me reset the system over and over firmware was updated and still goes offline Its just plain trash The rating for this app should be in the minus column unfortunately it will not let me rate it less than one star     The absolute worst app ever piece of SH
