If you want a bank account that you cant monitor and continuously get locked out from than this is the one for you I have had to enter in my password multiple times every time attempting to log in for approximately one to two weeks I know I have been entering in the correct password because I watch what I type Some times around the third time I can get through Other times it tells me there is an error or its undergoing service This is unacceptable This app was already terrible to begin with because of the lousy interface I feel like Im using the first iPhone again There are no features that make it special and I can see why because they probably wouldnt work at all I am definitely leaving Provident because I dont have the time to call customer support every time I try to log in to my own account These things are very important to people and can really make someone want to switch over from a different bank Provident is driving people away with things that could easily be fixed by someone that knows what they are doing     UnusableWaste of Time

Just updated to the latest version now it freezes when I open the app Im using the iPhone 6 plus experienced numerous problems from this app        Update this app

Ill give it better review when its useable     Not very useful if you cant log in

Nothing too fancy but what do you really need from an app Deposit transfer funds and make payments all easy to use Enjoy the find an atm near me feature which uses location services              Pretty Pleased

Iphone 6 Updated on Feb 20th and now I cant even log in The screen freezes and will not load at all I e uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing works I even reset my phone and nothing works Please fix this annoying bug        FIX THE BUGS

Works great so far have not the had the chance to try out the mobile check deposit                 Good

Everytime I try to log on it says theres an error that occurred while initializing application     Cant even open the app

Please update the app To get access to the business accounts I have 3 business accounts and I would love to review it on the go     No business account

Slow says it all it takes a few minutes to deposit each check when it works What really bothers me is that I the simple things that could be done to make it better for the users but as of now arent included 1 There is a 2500 or 5 check limit on remote deposit but while the bank claims its mentioned in the TOS does anyone read those completely there is nothing in the app preventing you from breaking those limits So not knowing I deposited 18 checks 13 were rejected the next day coincidentally or not the lowest amount checks were the ones deposited 2 If your checks are rejected you are only told the amount of the rejected check Two checks of the same amount you must go into your deposit history to figure out which check got rejected by looking at the images Unfortunately the images are tiny and do not enlarge so its a pain They are also slow to load They could either allow us to enlarge the photos or add a field to add check number 3 The deposit history sorts in chronological order and only like 10 at a time So if you want to see your most recent deposits you must load and page through all of them to get to most recent Sort should be in reverse chronological order     Slow and Poor EndUser Design

By far the worst app ever Its fitting since this is a horrible bank This is such a headache It constantly freezes and locks me out Dont waste your time     Worst app ever

Been waiting for this app for a long time Installed it after the login issues earlier user have experienced were resolved Works flawlessly so far Tried all available functions Paid a bill made a deposit made a transfer and checked recent activities No issues faced Interface is clean and userfriendly Only improvement I would like to see is a faster response time Some of the transactions take longer than it should Overall pretty excited and happy with this app                 Works well Nicely done

I cant access my account and when you call customer support they tell you to delete it and install it again and if it doesnt work they tell you to go the apple store apple has nothing to do with it its your app why let others fix it Makes me wanna change banks     No good

This app didnt work for my new IPhone 6 I cant log in as I normal did with my old IPhone I hope the Provident Bank should considering this matter Right now I have to use my laptop to banking online which is not really convenient at all     Please update the app

Logging is has yet to work I can enter the same information on the website and log in instantly however on the mobile app you enter the information answer the security questions and they always come back as incorrect It has not worked to even be able to access the account to see more of the app I know it just went up the beginning of December lightyears behind the other banking companies but dont put it on the App Store if its not ready to be used     Dont launch if its not ready

Tried depositing check and got the unable to find valid account message Called provident three times and they confirmed that I definitely had a valid account and would get back to me No one did Tried the privacy setting like another reviewer recommended and still doesnt work Guy I spoke with at Provident had no answer Thought it wouldve been addressed by nowobviously Im not the only iPhone user experiencing this problem     Check deposit does not work

930 today entered pwd logged right in 945 logged in with same password and cant log in AND get locked out of account Customer service dont answer calls Ready to leave provident     Terrible terrible terrible app

Finally able to log in guess they opened up the port now 45 just cuz it could look prettier but over all functional              Will change rating if i can log in

When signing in for the first time it asks you for your mobile telephone number and wireless carrier Why does an app need to know what your number and carrier are I have over a 150 apps and none of them ask me for my number or carrier Why would you need to know that Unacceptable           Good But

I only use it to review my balance its good but please give customers the option to transfer from their savings to their checking I had to go to the bank just to transfer money from my savings to the checking other banks allow this option so please update this one too           Good app

Now that it works I can log in I find this application to be very useful I can see and search transactions all accounts see and schedule payments isuue transfers between accounts find locations AND Deposit Checks from the phone The transaction search features can be improved a little bit to allow search on description I like to search number of POS transactions in current period so off goes a star I am generally very satisfied              Good and Functional

After the last update it freezes at the login screen for a minute or two At least a loading bar or a please wait would help           Freezes at login

Seriously considering changing banks just to have the convenience of mobile banking Be honest what does Provident offer that would make people stay if we cant have the simple convenience of mobile banking     What a waste

App crashed six times while I was depositing a check     App crashes

Finally we got our mobile app I love it simple now Im able to deposit a check by taking a picture Awesome                 Love Provident

So far I have not had any problems with this app on the iPhone 5 or iPhone 6 Plus I easily log in to check my balances transfer funds pay my bills or even make a check deposit I like how you can click on a pending transaction to get more information A side note though to use the Bill Pay you have to log into a computer to set up the Bill Pay first but once that is done it is easy to pay my bills through this app              Easy to check account balances and pending transactions

This app does not work for business checking account and in this advanced tech era bank is not even taking any interest to update So poor     No for business account

Cant log in Why would you release an application when its not fully functional Your IT department needs to fix this or you will start to lose customers including this one If you want to be like one of the big boys BoA TD etc then you need to release a product thats gonna work     Provident NJ App

I have been having problems logging in after the latest update The pinwheel shows up saying securely logging in but never completes the log in process     Latest update problems

They finally activated the app Just deposited a check Now I never have to go to the bank again                 Remote deposit is great

For a bank to release a mobile banking app that doesnt work Cant even log in Really     Ridiculous

Cant even tell you how this app is besides the login screen As the owner of a mobile business it would be great to check my bank account on the go Not with this app Im actually considering changing banks because of this     Not business friendly

Canny access to my account at all and I really would like to see my balance and do transfers     Update this app ASAP

Ap is such a disappointment Had numerous issues with photos of deposits not being accepted Calling customer service is just as disappointing They cant resolve the issue and then no one gets back to you when they promise Lastest suggestion was to delete the ap and reinstall Ugh Really        Customer

Works as it should Theres some tweaks to the UI and check deposit that could be done But as new as the app is it will only get better                 No problems here

Has all the basic features you need from a simple banking app They have to implement multitasking so you can switch in and out of the app without having to login every time Its so frustrating Ill give more stars when they add that           Usable banking app
