The PseudoChromatic ColorTest is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new PseudoChromatic ColorTest app version 2.0 has been updated on 2014-11-26. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This app includes many different plates some to rule out color blindness some to rule in color blindness and some to diagnose which type of color blindness is present Unlike other apps out there this one gives a clinical explanation of why each type of patient would see a particular number In some of the plates depending upon the diagnosis of the patient each person would see a different number and this app explains why BRAVO to the app developers on creating such a useful clinical app                     Best app for clinicians beingme2

There is a freaking ad for the app store right in the middle of the screen You can t move it and it won t go away You can t read the results of each slide that s making this app completely useless Don t waste your time     Bad Tmkos

The best part is the test at the end where color blind people can see the numbers and normal color cannot Now they know it feels The website also explains why the army does not prohibit colorblindness Apparently we are better at see shapes versus shades even if it is green against green Now I know why I was always so much better at seeing the enemy before they saw me                     Great app and free 4thelittleguy

Very good Thank you I am not complaining given that this is free A suggestion though Make it interactive in order to allow for a score assessment Specially useful would be if the user has to trace what he sees and the app verifies the accuracy of the trace At the end you would get a score and diagnosis                 Thank you Robertush

The additional plates included in this update are great at showing what type of color deficient individual you are It s nice to be able to turn the table on the normal sighted person with the reverse plates the ones that the color deficient eye sees the number but the normal eye doesn t The X path plates were just so so Still for the money I d rate it at 5 stars                     Informative INeedMoneyz

Nice simple app for color vision I will use this when I see patients taking medication that might cause problems One small nit the arrow keys to navigate are not in keeping with user guidelines I think and should be dropped Instead let us swipe to the next plate or back Otherwise again nice app                 Free and reasonable Steve White MD
