I downloaded this app on my students iPads and they loved playing it Its difficult enough to challenge them but they are also learning about plate tectonics They of course liked the game aspect to it I could probably use this app for a few lessons it has enough content Also its very interactive and not just text on a screen                 Great app for science class

The update allows you to replay activities without quitting So you can replay until you get that perfect score Everything I siad before is still true The app does an excellent job of exploring plate tectonics while keeping students motivated by making the science into a game with scorekeeping To get the best possible score students learn how tectonic plates interact At the simplest level the plates are presented as a jigsawlike puzzle but students are learning how the plates make up the continents and oceans and using their knowledge of geography to solve the puzzle Advanced levels introduce the plate boundaries and how interactions at these boundaries cause volcanoes and earthquakes Animations help explain what happens at these boundaries and the activities test their understanding Appropriate for grades 5 to 12 contains 6 scored activities complete all 6 for a final assessment                 a perfect scrore
