PWN: Combat Hacking

This game is one of my favorite games Its a fast paced strategy game thats very addicting and will have you playing for hours So far the only flaws Ive seen are nothing there are NO flaws                 BEST GAME IN THE SOLERVERSE

As the other reviewers stated this is a very fun exciting and addicting game to play For the sake of family harmony I dont recommend trying to play this around distractions This game requires concentration to play well I have noticed that progress on my iPad does not Cary over to my iPhone It would be nice to continue playing on my other devices without having yo redo all of my progress to date within a campaign              Fun and exciting Dont play near distractions

I come at this as a big fan of tabletop board games This game has some of the most dynamic engaging interactive deep strategic gameplay Ive ever encountered It packs so many meaningful decisions into such a small timeframe It really rewards strategic thinking while delivering exciting action again and again Gift it to a friend and play each other locally You wont regret it                 Best RealTime strategy game

This has been one of my more favorite games Its too bad that there isnt a better ad campaign for it so that more people would join I can never find anyone to connect to and play with in multiplayer              Still playing it

Very good gameplay However there should be a new character that when you beat all the others including phantom that will unlock and be able to upgrade all the abilities to lvl 5                 Amazing

I have had this game since it was released an I have to say it is amazing Throughout its release it has had some pretty good updates as well Im sure there will be more to come too The multiplayer add on was genius and the music is great This game could be made even better if it allowed multiple player levels whether it is single player vs multiple AI or multiple human players via bluetooth or online                 Awesome

The game was fun and interesting at first but as you get into further characters the game becomes impossible The skills level does not allow you to even match the level of your opponent This game makes me want to throw my iPad across the room           Aggravating

First campaign was fairly easy Having a hard time beating second campaign Fun trying to figure out different skill strengths and weaknesses                 Fun game Very challenging

Yet another game that gives the computer exceptionally higher level of skill and expects you to be able to multitask just as fast Boo     Unrealistic expectations

The game design is innovative and well implemented There is great tactical depth though I found that the fast pace kept me from enjoying the game to its fullest              Clever and challenging

Virus guy 2nd campaign is unwind able without dumb luck AI doesnt need to click to use tools There is no delay I suspect they even get to reuse tools faster Makes it pretty impossible to win strategically By the time I click the tool to cinch victory the AI has captured boxes and used 2 tools AI should replicate person not be super computer This game is more speed less strategy Just holdout to use virus and done Maybe throw a spike to nix a firewall           Fake Difficulty

This game gets frustrating really fast when you are winning then make one miss click due to the tiny nodes and you lose The bigger 3D levels are almost impossible to win because its so difficult to hit the correct node in the split second needed Overall a great idea for a game but a touch screen phone is not a good platform for it           Frustrating

I know that this is not my phone this is your game causing my problem because I just got a new phone so I know that theres nothing wrong with my phone okay so when ever I try am press something it things that Im not clicking that like when I try pressing Encrypt in the tutorial I cant do anything else except press that but nothing happens when I press the button so I paid 299 for this game and I cant even play it this is a complete waste of my money which is completely not fair to me so you can either give me my money back would you want or you can fix it which Im going to tell you right now that you better do it is not okay with me that you make me pay for this game that doesnt work so I am asking you to fix this so fix it if I could I would give this game 5 stars since I cant even play it and again like I said its not my phone because I just got a new one     Terrible

The controls and gameplay are are great fit for iPhone I wish it was designed to be played in both landscape and portrait mode But thats my only complaint                 WellDesigned iOS Game

Great high speed strategy game First campaign is a great tutorial into how your hacking tools for the network behave ThenThere is no spoon Definitely need to think quickly but strategically otherwise random tapping will make you lose Really like online multiplayer                 Excellent

Brutally challenging at times but that makes it more fun than other games Frustratingly difficult but not impossible You have to use many different strategies on different levels                 Difficult fun

This game is NOT for ragers because the game will use the virus thing way to freaking much and made me throw my iPhone across the room thank you game creator and is to repetitive with the virus way to much in the campaign I cant get passed a level no matter how concentrated I get It need to be fixed Other than that the game is ok           Addictive but Frustrating

This game is great and very strategic Its challenging and requires thinking and thats why I like it                 Soooo challenging

The only game so far that made me skip my bus and subway stops Immersive and highly addictive This is extremely rare case when great idea has met superb graphics spiced up with proper music and FX and all this with easy and intuitive gameplay What is IMO missing tutorial lives its own life you cannot choose which skill in particular you want to practice you cannot choose map you want to practice its just entirely random Also why not let choose your adversary small reminder about skills would be also helpful how each skill actually works and their interaction Currently you only get it when you gain the skill itself would be also nice to see more missions like cyberattacks on various networks rewards maybe shop and maybe more skills But thats just minor comments Overall its a really great yet simple game                 AWESOME

Update Changed the rating of this review three times now It now is down to 1 star and this could have had the potential to be a 5 star game Having a game be a challenge is way different than having it so difficult that you cannot get past a certain point I find myself feeling heated I play games as an escape and to get enjoyment I appreciate a cerebral game as much as anyone but the pace of the game and the gameplay at the Campaign Level is not balanced Even when I gain enough levels and have all of my tools upgraded I am still losing to the computer opponent The pace is so quick I do not even have time to launch any strategy This totally blows It is about to come off my phone What a shame as it has the potential to be one of my favorite games I can also see the developers really give a crap about their game as there has not been an update since JuneJuly of 2013 This game was going to get a good review until I went to play with a second character I made it to Level 18 with my first character Cipher I picked Glitch for my second character and I cannot get past Level 8 I am being matched against characters in Level 12 and higher How is this a fair challenge when I am matched up with a character that has half a dozen tools and I have two I have to complete the Boss levels to win a new tool Firewall Trojan Spike etc but how am I supposed to do this when I am at the level I am at with this particular character with a limited set of tools Really What fun is a game that is set up with me being at a disadvantage Why are the Campaign challenges set up this way              Unbalanced Gameplay

I dont know how much this resembles actual computer hacking but its a great fun game There are several Quests to follow with different hackers and different hacking skills I find myself playing it all the time and actually seeing myself get better Fun game easy to learn difficult to master Legit                 Great game addictive

Tutorial very vague i didnt win one game and deleted it its too hard i just dont get how to play        I dont get it

Love this game so fun and addictive The 90s fake hacker movie inspiration is so clever and done so enjoyably well Hope theres a sequel                 Amazing Game Concept

This game is the most frustrating game I have ever played Which I assure you there have not been very many I find myself jabbing at the screen and ready to throw it out the window when I am about to win then lose it all This has not happened with any of my other games not even Angry Birds However I am now one game away from beating the entire thing and its kicking my youknowwhat Its great entertainment One of the factors for what determines a level of difficulty seems to be the strategy you choose so that is why sometimes one level can be hard and the next super easy or one attempt vs the next Besides you need some easier ones to keep you going between the hard ones Nice job I hope to see more Oh yeah online multiplayer would be nice at some point Update I did successfully beat the game so it is possible in case you were wondering                 Great game

Unique and challenging Lots of fun                 Great strategy game

This game has excellent gameplay premise as well as presentation However it lacks fairness a set of consistent rules that ensure the player feels in control All these issues are fixable and I look forward to the developers future endeavors 3D Map Camera issues Sometimes a click isnt detected because its obstructed by another object However if there is a circle showing a clickable node then clicking that circle should select the node and never say access denied If you start a level on a map that obstructs nodes then you have to madly move the camera to your liking during the 3 second nonpauseable countdown Worst when madly clicking to disable nodes with a virus the screen can rotate into a bad position These issues might be acceptable if there was a benefit to the 3D playfield but there isnt one all maps could just as easily be setup as a flat playfield and the camerarotate feature removed How can an encrypted node be captured without being decrypted first Not only that but the enemy now acquires your encryption and now you have to crack your own encryption in order to get back your node That is not plausable The fix to this is whenever an enemy node is captured anything belonging to the enemy on that node is destroyed Disconnected nodes are arbitrary It seems any single node can be considered disconnected but that can lead to a case where all your remaining nodes are disconnected Since there is no home node then you cant predict what will become a disconnected node even when youre watching the enemy attacking your nodes This can change the balance of power in a moment This would only be acceptable if the player could select a home node and change it at will Finally disconnected nodes should not be quicker to capture than unoccupied nodes Why should you be doubly punished for capturing a node           A gem in the rough

This game has quite the precipitous learning curve between the first and second campaigns You play through the entire first campaign never coming close to losing wondering whether you just paid for a piece of weak interactive fiction instead of a game Then in the first tournament you get an inkling that the AI might just be getting started Then in the 2nd campaign you face disadvantages that are just brutal Your opponents outgun you with more skills than you and can capture and place the specials faster than you I eventually got to a point where I had all my known skills maxed out but I still wasnt able to progress past any of my available battles It seems like the AI wins by being faster For one thing it never pauses to think I dont know if its actual skills and node captures are recharging faster as well or if thats just my human perception As a player I appreciate an uphill battle as a challenge However I would like an option to level the playing field at my discretion just to be able move past where Im stuck The ability to pause while issuing commands in singleplayer would be a welcome addition in this regard Or slowing down the AI to human norms              Good hard maybe too fast

POSTUPDATE REVIEW I was already in love with this game its depth and its flow were second to none The most recent update is a quantum leap from the original game adding more depth and balance and dealing with some nigh impossible scenarios in campaign Online multiplayer functions well though be prepared for some of the stiffest competiton imaginable ORIGINAL REVIEW This game has kept me on my toes Such depth and strategy Ive started seeing nodes in my sleep and devising strategies on scratch paper Ive just about chucked my iPhone across the room several times but perseverance tends to pay off Im also seeing brain training benefits This is a mentally demanding game And immensely satisfying to win                 Remarkable depth and difficulty

Similar to the hacking mini games of deus ex human revolution but increase the frenetic pace add many more strategic options and top with multiplayer and youve got yourself a winner                 Excellent polished game

I have this on my iphone and my ipad im pretty far in the campaign on my phone but when i cannot get my progress to sync on my ipad can you fix this           icloud sync not working
