Crash fest wont allow a download of the newest edition without crashing Great mag lousy app
I subscribe to both the print and digital editions Rapid Media has great customer service on the print side but they are slow to respond on digital issues Overall I am happy with the app just wish they were more responsive Love the mag

I spoke with Dan at the magazine today Developer accounts dont show the same rating system we see and they had no idea the app was getting such bad reports I sent in screenshots of the reviews and have been working with him all day on the issue I was having They are going to get the app updated quickly to address these issues In the meantime I subscribed via the Zinio app for 999 and the magazine downloads and reads fine there Dont miss out on a good magazine just because the app needs work a lot of work admittedley They are working on it
Every time a new issue comes out app wont open Have to delete app then reinstall app to download new issue plus reload my previous issues Frustrated
Recently started sending an alert once per hour letting me know a new issue was available Had to shut off notifications in iOS for the app to make it stop Alerts are out of control
Great magazine less than great app I feel cheated when I pay for something that doesnt work I get regular crashes and a magazine I paid for that will not download completely Fix the app quickly and give me a free magazine and all is well Im not paying for another issue until I see that this issue is resolved Disappointed
I got this POC pile of crap least year as a 999 subscription on our original IPad Now they downloaded fine a the content was good when the app didnt crash However you would think there would be a simple way to also read your paid content on other devices such as out iMac or phonedream on So now when a new issue is out I head to the local BN read it for free and they can kiss my s goodbye Save your money and put it towards new yak gear Fell into the trap
Not sure what the publishers are going for here I only wanted kayak angler but I get all these options to get paddling business and other crap Im not interested in Where is the subscription option And when I click on support it takes me to a blank web page Really rapid media Confusing app
I am now hooked on Rapid Medias magazines and I love the fact that I can read them whenever I want on my iPhone and iPad Right now their current issues are free freegood and the publisher responded to an email query I sent and has told me back issues are coming soon and will be only 99 perfectly affordable I have been really excited about the current hip articles and the amazing photography in all their magazines If you are at all interested in paddling water sports then you will really enjoy all of this publishers magazines I guess we all need to be a little patient so that Apple and Rapid Media can prep and approve all the great content for us Bring it on If you love paddling This app is for you
I love this ezine and have been subscribing since the start but come on guys At least give us a heads up if you are trying to fix it or whatever1st gen IPad running 511 Fix it please Update Delete the app and reload and it works I would hate to have people get frustrated with the app over something so easy You guys should try to support your customers better Great until latest update

What is going on with this app I downloaded a few issues then I go back in to read them and theyre gone It says I have downloaded them and when I try and redownload them it just gets frozen Either give me my money back or give me what I paid for

The App is great I have not had a problem viewing any of the downloaded editions I recommend separating the My Editions section into two sections One for new releases and one actually for editions I have purchased I hope more magazines go this route MyEditions crowded

Ok I love kayak fishing and decided to try this magazine Now Im stuck and cant give it zero stars Paid my money and downloaded the app Can I download the magazine and read it NO Can I redownload the app NO The website knows the app is already installed but everytime I try to download the magazine it sends me to the website to download the app Catch 22 and out 999 Try to go to Help web error Incorrect address You would think that an app developer would be able to find their own web address unless the specifically didnt want to hear about their nonfunctioning app Great idea but this seems like a come on to get you to spend more money on the print copy If this is their idea of business ethics they are not a company I will deal with ever again Ready to waste some time

I agree with other reviews Issues I have downloaded are no longer there When I attempt to download them again nothing happens When I tried buying a new issue it acts like it is downloading but never completes Unless these issues can be fixed DO NOT waste your time or money Frustrated
Bought the subscription only to find out the first issue was the 2012 Paddling Guide I already owned that issue as I bought it as a stand alone product I found out about Kayak Angler through the Paddling Guide but I cant find a contact us button to see if I can get something else Next I bought the 2011 combo pack only to find the 2012 Paddling Guide was part of that too Apparently I now own three issues of the same guide without any recourse because I cant contact anyone at the magazine From now on Im sticking to paper onlyexclusively due to lack of support of the app Also Disappointed

Got all excited about being able to download kayak angler magazine I too paid for a full year subscription I downloaded my first magazine and when I pull up he app all I get is a black screen Please fix your app Dissapointed
