Just copied an old iPad onto a new one and when I tap restore purchases it tells me they have been restore but nothing is visible Edit reinstalled and it s working again This has been enjoyed and heavily used by my kiddo                     Works great Jonny511

We love the books kids love to read them and practice their reading However for some reason I always have to restore purchases and then re download them to each of our tablets It is very timeconsuming and I haven t figured out why this happens                 great reading practice hockeymammato4

I just got this app for my kindergartener to learn beginning reading Great features for sounding out new words Like someone else has said the reader management closes the app every time I try to access it I get frustrated with how the pages flip because I use my finger to point to the word and it will turn the page to the previous page instead I wish I could turn this feature off and just use the arrows in the lower menu                     Great resource Scarlett328000

I love these decodable books They teach letters sounds and words step by step It tells you exactly what to say when teaching news sounds and skills The only problem is that the Reader Management option closes the app every time I try to use it but I m sure that will get fixed with the next update                     Great books for K 3rd grade Seskes80

As a digital representation of the Sam Books this is fantastic We choose not to use the read to me feature because we want our boys to sound out the text but it can be helpful We really would like it if the app expanded into the upper level book sets We were able to use the app for our younger son while on vacation but out older son who is in the final set had to bring his paper books I would love if the app included games to help spell the words                     Fantastic portable Sam books jmmarkov

I love this app We have some of the actual books as well and are amazed at how well our girls are doing My 5 year old is already reading at a first grade level and she s still in preschool My 3 year old is also moving along well I don t personally mind the voice and don t find it offensive Definately worth the money                     Great set for teaching kids to read cwar27

This is a really great idea as far as encouraging kids to read and understand but I have a problem with that female voice making sounds it does not sound appropriate to me this is a n app for kids not x rated adult related I won t delete it but I only make sure I put in in sentence mode not sound mode for my kid pls change that female voice for next update is just not appropriate             Little problem Hoddam

I ve been using Sam books to teach the children in my preschool for years Having an electronic version is so AWESOME Holds the kid s interest Illustrations are fantastic Simple but colorful and vibrant                     EXCELLENT TKtoons

Motivating with stories progressing from very simple to higher levels and the illustrations are in color There is a recording feature however the recordings aren t saved It would be excellent if the child could read the pages and then hear the entire story read aloud in his or her own voice                 Love it TrainerMomof3

I love the books on the IPad I have purchased 5 sets in paperback and liked very much But the IPad version is awesome I have a son on the autistic spectrum he looooves these He wants to read the books record his voice all day long Anyone with an autistic child knows how hard it is to get them to do what you want with this app he is asking me to do it and there is no meltdown My only hope is they get the other sets on the app soon                     Love it Jefflisap

As a teacher I love the series and use it daily Now we have another way to help motivate our young readers and engage them I like that there is a recording option but wish they could record each page one at a time and then listen to the whole story recorded with their voices I like the option to have it read to them and also touching the words to have them sounded out for you Can t wait for more sets to become available It would also be nice to allow page turning rather than click the arrows                 Love Sam Troy LaMont

This is an awesome app My 6 year old is using it to strengthen and improve her reading The free books that come with it are nice and the sets were reasonably priced The app works great The voice for reading the story is pleasant and readers are able to sound out words Readers are also able to record themselves reading a page The books are well thought out and build upon each other well Suggestions for improvements include making it easier to check off books and find key sounds and words Also comprehension questions at the end of the book would be nice                     great app Mnmbookworm
