Its like real thing It does not lock you into game play but is just like having a real checker board with you NICE

There is no AI in the game at all I expected it to observe the rules of checkers but it does not its basically a checkerboard and pieces on the screen and thats it a player can make illegal moves and it will allow it I understand the concept of just having a board and pieces but it should be an option to allow the computer to verify a players move kids mainly did not expect it to have ZERO intelligence there is no AI

I love playing checkers and cant wait to do so on my new iPad I Love Checkers

I can understand not providing an Ai but it would have been nice But not enforcing basic rules snap to tile or anything is just ridiculous I gave it 2 stars because it looks nice but that only gets you so far Needs basic rules

I cant wait to put this on my coffee table to play with my niece and nephew What an easy way to play checkers And best of all you cant lose the pieces Manhattan Max

Ive seen complaints about this game not having AI a computer player and it allowing illegal moves Personally thats OK with me Its just a board and some pieces just like the real game If you want to play you need 2 people I think its great My only real wish is for a few more options in the look of the pieces and board like wood vs plasticcardboard The tinted options right now arent that great Good for what it is

You can do whatever you want with these just as long as that doesnt include playing a rulesenforced legal game of checkers It is EXACTLY what it says Real checkers It is free so one really cant complain much However there is not only no AI single player mode there are no rules being enforced at all All this app does is display a checkered grid with red and black circles on it It at least needs to snap the checkers to the gridcmon give us that at least Dont know whether to hate it or just laugh aloud

The interface is great and for that I give it 2 stars But I wish it had the rules integrated Into at app When I jump a piece it should take the piece off the table The pieces should snap into e squares on the board But this stuff just doesnt happen Rules

Real checkers in simultaneously lifelike and fantastic My friend and I have already spent countless hours trying to beat each other on our morning work commute Ive also played it frequently with a student that I tutor as a special incentive Real checkers is an ingenious updated version of a classic game that everyone with an Ipad should own 5 stars Most fascinating and engaging two player game ever
