Real Kana Drill

This app is great with an excellent interface and excellent graphics I would recommend this app to anybody learning hiragana and katakana who wants to review the kana characters and test their knowledge of these characters The app displays kana characters randomly and the user must identify the displayed character via a keyboard App tells you if you are wrong and you can try again until you get it right or ask the app for the correct answer The book Im using to learn hiragana and katakana does not include the characters for wi or we but these characters are displayed by this app Are these characters really used This app is excellent and useful as is However it could be improved by adding optional audio pronunciation of each character when it is displayed with the ability to push a button to repeat the pronunciation Pronunciation of the compound kana characters made with ya yu and yo would be especially valuable This app displays a kana character and the user must enter the romanji identity of the character Another option that could be added is for the app to display the romanji for a kana character and then the user must enter the correct kana character For example the app displays the letters KA and the user must enter the kana character for KA This could be done using the existing keyboard layout Instead of having romanji characters on the keyboard keys the keys could have kana characters Another way this option could be implemented is simply by cloning the app and put the new functionality into the app clone Thank you for developing an excellent app                 Excellent Kana character review tool
