Since the last upgrade of OS X El Capitan the audio recording portion no longer works correctly the voice is shoppy and it is really bad I hope they are able to fix this issue ASAP             It is simple and easy but Audio has issues Theo-USA

This is no better than Quick Time and Quick Time is free The probem is that it uses sound from the speakers for the audio source It works but sounds terrible I contacted the developer to see if I was perhaps doiung something wrong but got no response I eventually downloaded Soundflower and use it in conjunction with Quick Time but tat requires some annoying extra steps and that s what I was trying to avoid If you go the Soundflower route watch out for download sites There are more sites that will download some very ugly Adware than sites that download the real app If that happens to you download AdwareMedic to get rid of it It s doantionware so be nice and donate a few bucks to the guy who wrote it     Don t waste your money MikeMPEiX
