It seems like a good idea and probably is V 3 0 but there are absolutely no instructions no manual and I can t get it to work What to do No support No manual No good I m an old guy altho I worked in IS IT development for 37 years I suspect my 13 year old grand daughter could probably show me what s needed but she s a 2 000 miles away What a pain There s far too much of this in the development world a lack of seeing it from the user s perspective instead of the developers I used to lecture my developers that the computer is there to HELP the user So it doesn t matter how difficult it is for the developer they must think of it as how can I help the user period This product needs help desperately It s the perfect example of how not to do it for classroom study THERE IS a link on this page that reads Record Lectures Support but it directs me to buying another app nothing to do with Record Lectures So even the App Store can t get it right Using their search for Record Lectures Support returns no results Pathetic     No instructions nothing RiverRat37

I ve had this app throughout my four years of undergrad and it has only stopped working this past semester I am VERY disappointed that it no longer will record a lecture all the way through without stopping I have to stop the recording and start another one losing material in between     Used to be great ChildishKG

I bought this app to use to record lectures for college It was a waste of money I tried to play it back and was extremely disappointed It played about the first minute perfectly but then sped up the recording too fast to even try to understand I m not sure it would do this if I listened to the entire thing from the beginning but I wanted to move forward to a certain topic discussed Instead I got 50 minutes of lecture which it says is the time of the recording by the way in 5 minutes of actual playback Do not spend money on this app You will be sorry you did     Horrible Playback Bill McKell

this app has so many technical flaws It will randomly speed up the recordings so fast that I can t understand them without slowing them down through a different app There will be random loud bursts of static It will stop recording when my computer goes to sleep which I understand but it gives the false premise that it kept recording becuase the time wont stop until you pause it so say my computer went to sleep after 15 minutes of a lecture and after the lecture i stop it at 50 minutes it ll show up as a 50 minute recording but whe you play it only 15 minutes are there so you don t know until you missed something really important and you want to go back to hear it theres no way of avoiding it i guess but the typing is super loud in the recordings I had high hopes I m dissapointed     so many flaws audgold

I downloaded the app and intially I loved it Then a month after I bought it I went to go play a recorded lecture from one of my college courses and my lectures wouldn t play It had the time and name of the lecture but it wouldnt play the audio almost as if all of it was deleted Not worth the money disapointed     Deletes your audio mbing8

This is app is great you can record lectures and make notes at the same time which is great for class BUT if you ever want to delete any of your notes THE APP DELTES ALL NOTES IN ARCHIVE This is a horrible glitch that needs fixing immediately Beside each lecture note a delete option is available along with edit note and send note When you press delete note you are given a verification DO YOU WANT TO DELETE THIS REOCORD assuming that record is singular and only the one will be deleted BUT ALL NOTES WILL BE DELETED if you choose yes Unless you re the kind of person that never cleans up your cluttered notes I suggest looking for another app to avoid this danger     DO NOT DELETE ANY NOTES FunTodd000

This app definitely makes recording lectures and taking notes so much easier When it comes time to make a study guide for an upcoming test it is very useful to be able to copy and paste notes over and relisten to the lectures I do have some problems with it saying You must click done to save and exit While this may seem self explanatory there is no place to click done or save to be able to close the application                 Very useful just a bit confusing Milyay

Not chill for an app that I have to pay for My 50 minute lecture will end and I ll go to Record Lectures only to see that it stopped recording 23 minutes into the lecture This happens pretty often and it needs to be fixed     Bug that stops recording randomly Kave Dast

I love it because of its simplicity I am just wondering if I can add previous recordings to its calender to add to my lecture collection                     I love it sarasm91

I really love this app and how it organizes my lecture recordings in a calendar format and everything but when you listen to the recordings the player doesn t allow you to fast forward or backwards so you can relisten or pick up where you last stopped I find that kind of frustrating but other than that I love everything else about this app Please fix that if possible                 Overall Great App but needs some improvements Amex2345

It records fine I have recorded one lecture However after the second lecture I could not figure out how to save it thought it would ask if I tried closing but it didnt ask me Lecture was GONE There is a checkmark that is hard to see way down at the bottom of the screen DONT FORGET TO CLICK ON IT BEFORE CLOSING YOU WILL LOSE THE RECORDING It does record for more than an hour so far Not sure how long it will go but it is a bit tricky to use and not self explanatory so make sure you familiarize yourself FIRST             Does not ask if you want to save before closing AdoringJesus

I can t color code by class It won t let me change the recording to a different date if I accidently click on the wrong one I can t start then pause and resume recordings either Sometimes we have group work I don t need to document 50 students talking over each other for 15 minutes     So Not Worth KapGirl

This app takes up half the size of the monitor Why would they make the app so large Obviously this was ported from another platform or what not and was not given much thought Furthermore you can only type appx 12 letters for the title of each recording Seriously     Clunky Big and cheap ihategovernment

There are no instructions for use Sometimes it records sometimes it doesn t Whole sections of lectures just didn t exist I will not use this app again I also can not figure out how to transfer the lectures to my phone so I can listen in the car Don t bother with it I m using Voice Memos on my iphone instead Those files can easily be transferred to my Dropbox from my laptop     can t trust it Ovington7

I told the devs that I would bug them until they fix 1 to be able to change the title that was stuck on Fall Semester fixed added Spring Semester 2 to be able to email recordings fixed emailed a hot chick a class she missed brownie points 3 to be able to stop the app from always being on top fixed now I can take written notes as well while recording 4 make the notepad bigger fixed now I can actually use their note pad and the notes are in the same place on the calendar as the recording Sometimes persistency pays off I have bugged these guys many times before so they know who I am I use Record Lectures a lot heavy course load very little sleep Lazy mans tool to store information                     Complained complained and complained again Flashxpert

This app has been very useful to me but it is stil missing some key features I feel could be implemented to make the product better I believe that it would be very useful to export the audio recordings and make it so you can put it into iTunes or your other iOS devices The lack of this feature makes it very annoying because I have to open the app every time I want to listen to a lecture It would be awesome if I could put the lectures on my iPhone and listen to the lecture while on the road to school every morning             Needs an update Spiffy911

So the app has not been updated so it always says I am in the fall semester it is spring already The app cannot be resized so it takes up half my retina display The app if forced front of all windows so you cannot put it behind word You have to minimize it or suffer with it on your screen You cannot rename titles after recorded Cannot record additional to any previous recording Unpolished with so much potential Overall I like to record discreetly but this is a sign to classmates that I am recording the lecture so email that guy when I miss class         Outdated and waste of space Critten

What I love about this app is that its easy to use not a bunch of extra tabs or steps simply to record and stop and the calendar design is excellent for organizing notes by date Also the play back is excellent I can barely hear my own keystrokes in an auditorium setting Thank you for this app it has saved me tons of by not having to purchase a mini recorder and is efficient because its an app on my MAC so one less device to keep up with                     Excellent for class 4Elle :)

The reason why I didn t give it a 5 star is bc you can t go back and continue recording from where you ended Another small reason I wanted to go back and edit my Title subject but it doesn t let you edit your subject title Over all it gets the job done                 Gets the job done cefiggy
