Unlike the many other products i have tried this reference does not provide a smooth intro to the subject Terms and regex expressions should be defined before using them The sequence k is used and it is so obscure several references do not even mention it Sequences such as that refers to a tab character being used before defined is forgivable because this is quite common in programming but in all my years I have never heard of k This does not belong in the getting started but in the advanced section and should be defined before using it because it is uncommon or advanced When you don t define your terms before you use them confusion is bound to result Other products did not have such a daunting learning curve nor did i have to do any significant research to keep my eyes from clouding over so thoroughly I am giving it three stars because a reference isn t for teaching but not the full five because the other references did a far better job of at least making enough sense that I could figure it out in a reasonable time Even cheat sheets do a better job I liked the other products because I could learn from them Not so this item Not for newbies GarryFre
