All it does it pass the connection through to the built in OS X Screen Sharing app that everybody already has installed If you have problems with the Screen Sharing app this won t help because it does nothing by itself     Not an actual app dsegel

This app is a fraud It just opens Apple s Screen Sharing To do that yourself choose Go Connect to Server in the Finder and then enter vnc IPAddress or vnc Name Domain in the Server Address field     What a joke sglorg

Being a simple front end for the built in VNC app this one is pretty useless You want to get the exact same functionality without this app Just do the following Open Finder Click on Go Go To Folder Enter System Library CoreServices Double click the Screen Sharing application Right click on it and choose keep in dock Thats it no app to install     You can get the same functionality without the app foidulus

I m using this to attach to the built in VNC Server in another OSX Lion machine so using the OSX built in function seems like a great fit Honestly I don t know if this is actually a front end for a built in app my 10 second search came up with nothing I had no trouble getting it to work right away and the performance is good So 1 Free 2 Leverages an OSX Lion primitive function 3 App store approved What s not to love                     Built in is just what I wanted Josh_Speer

recent connection list didn t work didn t find a way how to save a connection and i didn t like that computer where i connect to has to give permission first which is not convenient pls address these issues and I will change to 5 starts I see people complain and see that it is just a wrapper but i tried to find the original apple app and i couldn t ok figured out how to use the Remote Screen client without this app Go to Finder Go Connect to server vnc ip you want to connect             works great but fotkin

This is a really great easy to use convenience application I found it to be pretty straight forward Anyone who is connecting to another mac on the same network should grab this app Bonus points for the icon it s pretty slick I rated this a 5 since it s exactly what I need but I could use some improvements just in general 1 A recent list The last 10 connections would be great 2 Bonjour support to auto discover other machines on the network This would add a lot of value 3 Removal of the random default cocoa menus edit format could be a good cleanup Same with Preferences if you don t intend to keep that around Not a huge deal but it d probably be nice I d like Growl support to know when a connection is made in case it is taking a while if this application has anything to do other than passing arguments to the Screen Sharing application Honestly though this app has already saved me from having to dig around in System so kudos Well done sir                     Really great utility Christopher Forsythe

it IS just a wrapper application like others said and in addition to that there are no options in itself Any options and raw functionality required to make a connection is through Apple s Screen Sharing application It seems like this program was rather thrown together If a newline character is pasted into the ip address field it will distort the UI If you want better functionality grab something like the enterprise viewer that RealVNC has on their website the viewers are all free the though some of the servers are not                 yeah does what it says Kyle Falconer

It s just a front end for the Screen Sharing app already installed though fairly hidden on your Mac I like the built in Screen Sharing app but it has limitations such at not being able to connect to a local VNC server In my case I m not connecting to a truly local vnc server but one that s been ssh tunneled to localhost Because this piece of software is just a front end for the software I already have it s unable to make that connection     Just a front end cadeon924
