It is like the retro casset if i could give it 20 stars I would                 Love it

I liked using this recorder but the name change feature didnt change the date stamped name I was expecting to be able to export via email the way the iPod voice memo app does but there is no way to do that I need to be able to do that in the course of my job make recordings of vocal lines and email to students without going through iTunes        Fun interface wish it was more useful

Let me start by saying the app does a fantastic job recreating that retro look and feel I love it Its a very simple and clean UI and does a great job recording It just needs some extra features to help it get a better rating The biggest thing is their is no way to export your recordings That is something I think everyone who is thinking about using this for businessschoolfun would want The next is having the option to select a record while the screen is off feature We try to conserve our precious battery life and having the screen on whether its dimmed all the way down or blazing in all its glory is not going to help the cause It would really help Also a pause button would definitely come in handy Sometimes you just need to pause You know Also the ability to create groups or cases folders if you want to stay with the whole retro theme so that way I can keep my recordings organized work school notes Those would probably be the major ones in my opinion If you could also throw in the option to change the color of the cassettes or the ability to select different designs on the cassettes that would really be cool Other then that I really do like your app Thanks for listening and looking forward to the improvements on the next update just dont make us wait too longlol           Needs extra features

Despite the high quality look cassette tapes ran the other way This runs backwards Fix that error and add the ability to play iTunes playlists and you have a good app        The cassette tape runs backwards

I just used it to record a singer and guitar for me to practice playing along with Sound is good Simple to use The ipad will go to sleep while the app is on so you should fiddle with the ipads settings if the recording is going to be long Im not complaining because well its free                 nice

Nice idea but it only held the first recording Subsequent recordings were the same first recording Deleting made no difference Try again guys     Try again

Keeps stopping buttons rarely work lets iPad go to sleep while in use wont let me rename a total waste of time Im using my new iPad     POOR

I wish it had a pause and rewind button Every time I stop it I must start over from the beginning Also wish it would continue recording when the iPad sleeps        Wish

Do NOT trust this app I made the great mistake of trusting Retro Recorder to record a business phone call It cut out skipping the bulk of the call and cut the rest short leaving me WITHOUT the important bits of the conversation Something realized after the fact Inability to rewind and fast forward infuriate as well Other than for a child using the reorder to capture unreliable snippets of play babble I cannot IMAGINE who this app is designed for EXTREMELY disappointed and paying the price for having trusted Retro Recorder with anything vaguely important     HORRIFIC be WARNED
