This program is really useful for when Im practicing tricky parts The new updates are amazing Its nice how one can set the sound to what they like This was definitely worth buying My criticisms are as follows 1 There is no manual so it took me a while of experimentation to figure how to get the beat sound allocation the way I wanted It would be nice if there were several presets for the beat sound allocation then if you wanted you could customize it to your liking 2 I have a piece that is 30 BPM and this program only goes down to 40 so I had to double the time signature tempo and all the note values Some solutions could be to either add more range for the tempo or to let the user set which note value the tempo affects The latter would probably be the most efficient as to not make the tempo wheel more sensitive which is part of the upcoming criticism 3 Setting the tempo wheel to exactly the correct number is a bit difficult However Im using this program on an iPod so iPad users I would think have nothing to worry about It would be nice to have alongside the tempo wheel a textbox in which you could type the value for the tempo 4 I have a piece which has a 31note tuplet so it would be nice to either have more of a tuplet selection range andor to add textboxs so the user can input a custom tuplet ratio 5 This one isnt a criticism but a nice addition would be to let the user customize the six default selections in both the time signature and tuplet categories to their liking In the end its still an amazing program I would love to see the additionschanges I have stated in the next update Thank you              Amazing Program

Did not do what I wanted it to Wasted money for no reason        Expected better

When I first tried this IOS 7 version of this app it was amazing and very improved with more useful features The only down side is that the rhythm keys freeze by turning fade along with the editing cursor disappearing I would give this app 5 stars if this issue never happened              Its one of the best music related apps out there except

The app is great This is making my theory homework a hundred times easier I just wish I were able to insert a new time signature when I have a stanza with two different time signatures                 Genius

Its a great app It does what it says and helps anyone with what any rhythmic issues they may have It serves as a great use to percussionists in case of any awkward rhythmic values like quintuplets ninelets sextuplets triplets doopals for six eight time signature pretty much any awkward uplet it has a function for Even though you could just get an actual music simulating software to hear how its supposed to sound this works and its portable                 Everything I hoped for and more

I was sold to begin with but now with this new update its just amazing and useful                 Amazing

the app is difficult to use considering you have to pretty much figure things out yourself but it is helpful           okay

It did everything I needed and more A must buy It can play hard rhythms for you so you dont have to spend hours trying to figure it out You can customize time signature and beats per minute and tuplets and it can even play 128th notes All you have to do is type in the rhythm Helped me work out some difficult audition music It took me a little bit to figure out how to change the settings you just have to press and hold down the equals button for beats per minute and time signature Ive never written a review before but this app was awesome enough to write one                 amazing app

I often find myself looking at sheet music and realizing that Id be better off if I could hear the rhythm rather than just seeing it on paper This app allows exactly that Love it                 Just what Ive been looking for

I love this app so far but it starts to drag and not keep up with whats being played after a certain length Also itll be great if we can pick certain sections to fix any mistake or change something without having delete almost everything Please fix              Good App

Im interested in seeing a few improvements to this app if possible 1A clearer way to write triplets based on the duration you initially want So you want a triplet quarter note in the duration of a half note then it would allow you to write that Current version isnt quite there for the more complex rhythms 2 a way to accelerate and decelerate to a new tempo would be useful 3Being able to write a sudden tempo change half way through the excerpt 4change what that speed is based on Instead of always having a quarter note be the measure it would be nice to be able to use in 8th or 16th 5Having the pitch of the beat change would help when trying to keep in a key Instead of a drone it would be a pitched beat 6 polyrhythm writing by adding another line that is completely independent from the first This would help percussionists with more complex works Thats a just a few things I think would help this app Its useful as is but it could be a lot better Still 5 stars                 Great App

Ive downloaded it twice thus far Id like my money back     It simply doesnt work

The new design is much easier to use and much more efficient The ability to change time signature is a great addition Dotted quarter note receiving the best in 38 68 etc is very helpful as opposed to the previous eight note beat All and all a great app for any musician who struggles with rhythm                 Perfect

I bought this app for 299 and its completely frozen every time I open it So i just threw away 300     Worst app ever

It is semi useful however it will not properly display two sixteenth with one eight note combinations on the same beat It was overpriced for what it does Dont waste your money        Overpriced SixteenthEight Note Issues

This app is a must for learning complex pieces of sheet music The new memory feature allows the app to be used as a great songwriting asset I had the previous version of this app and I must say that the new version is amazing                 Fantastic Application

good app A little bit difficult to use if you dont understand tuplets If anyone is looking to use this just for marching band purposes dont           not for marching band

It really helps me visualize the sheet music Maybe a way to add a different sound like a marching sound or bass hit                 LOVE IT

There are very few things a musician needs even fewer exist outside mind heart This little calculator is one of them this is one of my requirements It is mandatory for my students and cannot be recommended enough to everyone else Best of the besttruly a masterwerk of simplicity genius                 Required

Very cool idea for an app and I love using something like this However the app crashes during playback when I try to tilt my device If I try to name a file that is on the very bottom of the file list the keyboard ends up blocking the view of what I am typing It would be cool to be able to see the music as a file as if it were printed on a piece of paper It would also be nice to play the file starting at a specific point and be able to add things like grace notes drags dynamics etc Great app otherwise              Keep up the Improvements

Ive had this app for about 4 months now and have used it numerous times when practicing those hard to play rhythms ranging from Charlie Parker to Marcus Miller This is a tool for all practicing musicians whose time spent studying is precious to them You will get past those hard to play passages in no time using this app Add this to your tool kit and you wont be sorry Definitely adds to making your studies more efficient and effective                 This App is Incredible

This app means well but there doesnt seem to be any general how to directions and no support that I can find     poor app

This app is an essential practice and teaching tool It provides the musician with both a visual and aural representation of music notation Just type in the desired notes or rests and you have an instant picture of what you need to play I used this app to learn to sightread in less than a month Update suggestions The app needs to have a beat marker and perhaps a way to accent individual beats Another useful update would be to have a swing time component without having to type in triplets Overall well worth the price Great app                 A must have app for the serious player

I use it to figure out the rhythm of the songs I need to sing for choir and it is just perfect I cant just look at a page and use a metronome to find the rhythm believe me Ive tried This app finds the rhythm for me and I think Im even getting a little better at recognizing rhythm on my own too Well worth the 3                 I love this app
