As of yesterday i just get the no trips found on the app Contacted support and no response Doesnt work anymore
Does not show stop along the ride Does not differentiate local and main line Does not let you see more than a couple times at once A PDF of the actual schedules would serve much better FAIL Useless

Cool app nice graphics It successfully planned my metra trip today It can search for a station nearby but it cant search for stations based on a destination address so you have to know which stop youre getting off at Also add a train tracker I believe the CTA has a tracker on their website Cool Add a train tracker
I just love this app First thing first its quick n fast I have been others metra app in the past and was really frustrated with the speed and dup schedules But this one is lightening fast I guess because it stores the schedules locally on the phone which is fine by me I only hope that I receive notification every time there is a schedule change Other than that concern so far it really has exceeded my expectation Keep up the good guys One stop app for Metra schedule
Yesterday I went downtown using the app to plan my trains to and from Unfortunately the app said there was an 1130pm outbound train for my trip home which was not correct and I ended up waiting another hour for the 1230 Also didnt give me the 7 weekend price but gave the normal fares instead Like the app but it needs some improvement Good app but bad schedule

I used this app all last year as a commuter so I tended to trust it I no longer commute with the exception of this morning and the schedule is wrong Does not match the pdf online and I am behind schedule today because I relied on this app Get it together Just plain wrong
I use Metra a half dozen times a year and this app does all that I need Easy to use and read Great
For the last 2 years I have been living by this app and it has been great A few days ago the databases vanished and it says No Data Please resolve and I will rewrite with all stars I live by this app
Its a great app Would be 5star except sometime the schedules arent updated so Trip Planner results say there are no trips or theyre missing the most current info Great app but schedules not always updated

It was my first time commuting to the city via train for work This worked well for 2 days until I got onto the Harvard 641 train 516pm leaving OTC that does not Arrive at my stop even though the app said it would Now Im on it and have 30 extra minutes to write this review Luckily a gent on the train showed me the right way and apparently Metra is coming out with their own app hopefully more accurate Hope this helps Poorly Updated

This is a great app but the trip planner is currently not working When searching schedules it just says no trips planned Great App BUT
Add an express train indicator in the trip planner and I will raise my review Local trains stopping at all stops vs Express trains should each be distinguished visually somehow This is an easy fix please implement it No Express Train Indicator

I generally like this app but it cannot be trusted It tells you that there are trains at times when there is not actually a train scheduled I should have learned my lesson but twice now I have sat at the train station for an hour because this app told me there was a train scheduled for a certain time The creators of this app need to be more accurate and sync the app with the Metras actual schedule App has incorrect train times

This app is fine for displaying train schedules It also allows push notifications for train delays Unfortunately those do not work at all As I write this my train is 10 minutes late with the App displaying it as being on time Notifications Do Not Work

I like the design of this app but the schedules it displays are wrong and I have made plans based on this false information a few times only to find myself out of luck and waiting in the station for another hour or more until the next train departs I just deleted this app so I would not be tempted to use it ever again I would recommend avoiding it Decent design wrong times

Its been a rough winter for Metra passengers but the advisories on this app were not helpful Schedules ok though Schedules ok advisories not
This app was incredibly helpful but it suddenly showed No Trips Planned for any trip I tried I even used the web schedule to test and it still did not work App Not Working
Ive mostly used for schedules and it seems pretty accurate and well designed However some of the fare information is totally wrong and unfortunately in the wrong direction meaning it underestimated the fare by about 4 This is after updating the app and schedule info If you know to ignore this info its probably pretty reliable if not you can get caught without enough money for your trip It also means you end up having to use this app for schedule and metra website for fares easier to just use metra then Good but fare calculator is just wrong

The one time this could have been extremely valuable was during the irregular operations in the cold weather This turned out to be useless for service advisories which was the information most needed You cannot rely on this app for anything other than basic schedule information Ineffective
The only qualms I have about this app is the issues of it finding my location finding out the addresses of where the stations are located and the schedule itself I cant just have access to choose an option immediately to see what I need from one screen theres always just a few more steps to go back and have a vague sense of what I need or would like to know Not quite there

I use this app at least once a week when I invariably have to catch different trains Its always up to date and reflects the accurate schedule unfortunately Metra isnt always on time though This is a schedule app not a realtime tracker as another commented apparently expected It is the best at doing what it does no contest Best in class

The schedules in this app must be outdated or just incorrect I nearly missed my train due to a reported departure time of 522 when it turned out the actual time published in the current schedules and online and when the train actually arrived was 517 Inexcusable when that is the primary function of the app Incorrect departure times

Its funny that a 3rd party offers a faster response time than Metras own mymetra announcements Sometimes you even provide updates faster than the conductors More reliable than Metra
