I was immediately enthralled with Roambi Analytics cool looking graphs that are easy to create except that after spending 4 hours trying to learn the program I was more confused than when i started I must have gotten lucky with some early attempts to build simple graphs But I sallied forth and decided to buy two licenses for 528 Big mistake I paid one of my people to spend 40 hours learning the program and he was only moderately successful And 3 weeks after committing to buy the program they still haven t given me a login or password something about provisioning taking time seems ridiculous and my impression that since SAP bought Roambi it has become part of the problem not the solution Short answer sexy idea but ease of use is an unfulfilled promise And support at all levels is while very nice surprisingly unhelpful Recommendation Don t waste your time     hard to learn and harder to buy Boulder Jack

I can see all of my Google drive but cannot access any of the files Not sure whether it is because I need to pay for access or if it is because it does not recognize cannot open Google sheets files nothing happened when I select the file name This was quite a frustrating and disappointing experience I hope it would ve worked     High hope to disappointment ----

The app is very helpful when you do not have an AS400 near you or if you are at home What does need to get updated is the quantities that come on a pallet That piece of information would be so helpful                 Please Update Costco employee

New UI is a total train wreck Layers view is no longer functional all shading used to denote subtotals is gone This has gone from providing data insight to causing complete confusion We are no longer using it with clients going back to spreadsheet pivot tables This all white look with near neon colors is just absurd buttons that no longer look like buttons The old pseudo card rolodex now are white pages that fan in the air even more gimmicky with out the frames And you can t even bring up a full client or account card on a retina iPad you can only bring up partial view as a way to do 4 way compare We have to spend a lot of time with our clients explaining and apologizing for the navigation and presentation A huge step backward in usability I believe they are working on bring back the old black skin Suggest you don t upgrade until they do Update The 7 1 rev did nothing to correct this UI mess Layers View is not usable First column which is always the description of the rows is set at a default narrow width and can t be changed even in a simple two column report the colors are still neon the gallery view is by default as blocks representing the different views and if you try to expand totals sub totals line items you get completely lost due to the color shading The old UI was one of the best at data visualization this is the worst The company recognizes this and has said it will bring back the old black skin Do not buy     Huge Step Backwards princess gs

Roambi gets mobility The user experience is driven by the various visualizations and the choice of a view or report is determined by the use case For example there are views that allow me to drill down levels of a path so I can see how my products are performing then drill to the sales regions within those products For me I found it s better to start by looking at the various views and figuring out what I want on the iPad instead of trying to figure out how to replicate current reports it s just so different                     It s all about the use cases Fazirof
